The job was done ok but a bit half heartedly, didn’t want to give me any options re setup. I’d I’d known how it would be done, I could have done it myself n

Installation done by an outside vendor, not Geek Squad. Not thrilled with their performance. They seemed more intent in getting to the next job. I assume that they are paid by the job, not by the hour. The mount is up and functioning, but the explanation of the TV functions was limited.

Unfortunately the service provided didn’t satisfy the expectations that we had for the Geek Squad. Hours after the service the cable box collapsed and did a dent on the wall. We reported immediately and the technician stated that the problem will be solved the next day, but the next day never come. After a week, I went to the store to talk to the manager and he tried to get another technician but it’s going to take another 10 days to repair the problem. I asked for the refund of the service and I called a private service that came the same day and solved the issue. I hope that Best Buy have more technician to satisfy the demand of services.

The TV mounting was fine. The problem still is no replacement TV due to a damaged TV delivered and placed on my wall for over 2 weeks. Best Buy offered $50 for my tens of calls and discount to purchase another TV.

Great service and really quick service for 2 tv mounts

It seems the geek squad tech was convinced there is only one level of tv mounting service when there are clearly two. It sure did not feel like a premium service and my mother in law felt as if they gave her the run around non stop over every item. The service given felt like what should be provided with any standard TV mounting.

This was was a strong and reliable mounting mechanism that we needed for our new TV. However, I wish I had research a little more before making the choic on this one. I wanted something that was strong and secure but also wanted to have some swivel so we can move the TV so we can view from different angles. This one does not have that option.

The installation was amazing. Carefully done. Looks great.

Unfortunately, the TV mounting and setup was a complete disaster. After several attempts by the representative my walls had at least 25 holes; to no avail. My wall was a complete mess. Finally I asked him to stop. The good thing; Best Buy reimbursed me to fix and repaint the wall. A second representative came out several weeks later and the mount was finally install correctly. Finally, frustration to a belated cheer!
