This is the second review you requested of me for this service. I guess you didn’t like the first one star rating i gave you. Ill be briefer this time. The tv was left uncentered and crooked on my wall. The receiver was hooked to the tv and the blu-ray player was cabled to the receiver. Power cable was plugged in and the tv powered up to display a channel. They did move the old tv to the basement and cleaned up after themselves. That’s about it. No setup of the tv or apps that came with it. No network connection, or firmware update or explanation on how to make one remote operate all the devices. When I questioned the tech about these, he told me i had probably been reading an old outdated description of the service. This is described in Best Buys current online description! I came away with the impression that he was just anxious to get onto his next task and not give this 72 year old the best service i had paid for! No matter, I’ll not make this mistake again and not recommend them to all i know! So disappointed!

They were on time and were very careful while doing the work

We were told that we had 2 choices for delivery and installation. The Geek Squad would take a week longer but we decided that since we had used Geek Squad previously we would stay with them. The dayof delivery we were told that they would be there between 7am and 11 am. It was not Geek Squad and they arrived at 6:40 pm They did not call to let us know they would be late. Very Poor Service and terrible communication!

Very disappointed with the coordination of services. Had an appointment for installation and did not hear from anyone after waitingat home during scheduledappointment. I had to call customer service to then (after waiting on hold for quite some time) find out no one would be coming to my house. Nearly impossible to reach out directly to local folks to coordinate. Not the fault of the installation team but more an issue with scheduling.

Getting an appointment scheduled was absolutely horrid. When someone DID finally Come out, they were pretty good. Not impressed with the service at all.

Remote functioning remains spotty. On/off function

Good tv mount. Great angles for wall mounted television.

The installers were nice enough and mounted our TV as requested. However, as other reviewers have noted, good luck getting help with any damages. Our installers dragged the box with the TV across the hardwood floor. The box had staples in the bottom and left an awful trail of scratches for approximately 30 feet that the box was dragged. We contacted Best Buy immediately and they set up a claim for us. We sent all of the documentation and pictures requested by the claims people but they kept giving us the run-a-round, asking for more information (which we always provided), and generally not getting back to us for weeks at a time (we had to beg for them to return our calls and emails). After a couple months of this, the claims people contacted the Best Buy install guys who said they did not drag the box, so our claim was denied. As others suggested, you should probably video the installation in case they damage your house. Even then, it will probably be a nightmare to get reimbursement. If you enjoy reading about other people's suffering, search online for Sedgwick claims (the company who handles claims for Best Buy) and be amazed by the thousands of complaints you will find.

This install did not go as well as my other installs went. These were 3rd party and did not directly work for BB. The cables behind were not neatly put up and that required some adjustment after they left

They mounted the tv but did not get everything running before they left. They didn't even get the software updated. I have had to get all of our services working and I am stuck using 2 remotes. They clicked through the prompts without doing anything.

After having to reschedule this service three times it was completed on 12/30. The service was efficient and timely. My only issue was that the techs left the boxes upstairs after I asked them to move them to the garage as they left.

did not give instructions on how to use remote. had to call for tech help to use remote. left a long cable behind which they might need elsewhere.

I love the fact that Best Buy has a mounting service, but they should have some type of discount for previous customers that they have already put mounts up before. Everything was already done, basically all the technicians had to do is pick up the tv and tighten the screws.

It took months to get someone over to install the tv .second time when I called customer service was great and they send someone the next day . So if I m raring the second services it was good the first lack a little follow up .
