This edition is by far the best one for Batman fans

Great collection of films. Steel books look great!

This set is beautiful and the PQ and AQ is stellar. My main issue is that this set does not include the bonus features which most people didn't even find out about until the recieved their copy. And now less than a week after release the price drops $10. That is absolutely ridiculous how fast they dropped the price and ruined it for people who preordered it. Why not just release it at this price? This seriously damages my relationship with bestbuy for the future.

Yes, like the rest of planet Earth my Batman 4k Steelbook box set came dented. Who knew the same people that will pay an extra five bucks per movie for a metal box also want them to arrive in good condition. So the movies. The first one will be forever classic despite its flaws. I also enjoy the second one for mostly nostalgic reasons. The third movie is objectively bad and the fourth one is unwatchable. Probably should have just bought the first two on regular 4K but that would have messed with my OCD.

This collection is wonderful, and it's the only way you can get the first 4 Batman films in steelbook form! It comes in a tin with the 4 films encased in their steelbooks that are surrounded by retaining foam. Artwork is top notch, but mine showed up with a mild ding in the main tin. Not a big deal but I wasn't able to get a replacement at the time. The movies look great in 4K and this is one of those collections that you simply should not ignore if you are a fan of the early Batman films (at least the two Tim Burton movies, lol).

If you're ok not having the regular blu-rays discs of the film (which themselves have been upgraded using the new 4k remasters), then the attractive art direction makes this your best bet. Only thing keeping this from 5/5 is the fact that every copy of this I have seen in stores (and the one shipped to me) has had some kind of dent in it. If you're going to make a metal case and use that as a selling point, Best Buy should ensure that employees are handling them in a way that prevents these dings.

Transfers are OK. If you own the blu ray version, it's not that noticeable. Case is OK. Mine had a couple on minor dents.

The overall BATMAN COLLECTION (1989-1997) SteelBook 4K ULTRA-HD Box Set is fantastic! Definitely worth the money and looks beautiful! I only wish I had a copy that was mailed to me in a standard shipping box with protection, instead of a flimsy bag with ZERO protection! The outer SteelBook case was damaged beyond repair and I bought the last one, so it couldn't be replaced! PLEASE FIX THIS TYPE OF SHIPPING PRACTICE BEST-BUY!!!

Outer case is a bit dented from shipping, not worth returning for me. The steelbooks inside look great. These movies just have really creative characterizations and art. Different than Nolan films, you have to love them for what they are and when they were made. You have Prince music, Jack Nicholson, Arnold, Michael Keaton, and other icons.

My first purchase for my new 4K OLED tv and I am far from disappointed. The makeup of the Joker and the overall movie of the first one has never looked this good. So crisp and clear. This one and Batman Returns are dark movies so watching them at night was amazing as everything pops. As for Forever and Batman and Robin, even though they’re not highly regarded, the colors really pop and look fantastic with the HDR.

These movies have never looked better and will never look any better. It is a must own for any Batman fan or any film of the superhero genre. The steelbooks look gorgeous and come in an even better looking case. PLEASE NOTE - unlike other 4k releases these copies do not come with Blu Ray discs. That was a disappointment when I received my order. Also, features are minimal. It's all about quality and presentation with this set.

I received this SteelBook collection in good condition, did not have the problems some others have experienced. It is very nice packaging and beautiful SteelBooks. The movies have been gorgeously remastered in 4K with the original Batman having a slightly new sound mix supervised by director Tim Burton. I like the new mix. Of course only the Tim Burton/Michael Keaton movies are truly great. The only problem with the SteelBook set is the lack of special features, which any cinemaphile would want. SteelBooks can hold multiple discs per case and there was no reason to leave them out except Warner wanting to milk the cow as much as possible. The standard packaging 4 movie collection has all the disc within it but the SteelBook collection is far superior packaging/art. I can only recommend to fans who want the great packaging and might already have the first Blu-rays to hold onto. You will want to keep the original Batman for the original sound-mix just for nostalgia.

While I don't normally write reviews, I had to for this set. All three sets that I bought and exchanged were either dented or scratched. These Best Buy exclusives are not worth the money. These are nothing more than movies in cans surrounded by a tin can housing with dents and scratches. PLUS you ONLY get the 4K disc and digital code. To get the special features, you have to buy the set that also includes the blu rays. That is 8 discs in total to this 4 disc set. Please don't waste your money. This is a complete rip off.

Giving 4 stars instead of five only because when I ordered on 2 occasions the steel books came damaged with very obvious bending at corners. It’s most likely shipping fault. Better to pick up at store instead of shipping. Can’t say how the 4K movies compare but I’m sure they are excellent. What can I say I’m a big Batman fan so having this collectors item is nice!

While the 2nd and 4th movies were not that great, the 1st Batman (with Michael Keaton in it) and the 3rd one (with Val Kilmer in it) were great! Because of those 2 movies, I gave this collection 4 stars. The other 2 movies are okay, but without the 1st and 3rd movies, it would be an average collection of Batman movies.

I love Batman. So happy this has a steel book case. I had to get these great movies. The first two were great films. Classic Tim Burton. The other two well they sucked but I’m a completionist so of course I needed those films as well. Great buy. It’s always sold out. I hate how these cases always come with a little dent somewhere.

I don't normally get steel books but the case for these is really something to see. I was fortunate to find one that wasn't bent or scratched up (having read a few reviews that seems to be the majority). They don't come with the blu-ray version meaning you don't get a lot of the extra content that would usually be put on there but the digital copy does have the special features.

As cheesy as these movies were, they look and sound awesome in 4k. Found this on sale so no regrets. Only issue is that most of these tend to appear damaged. You’ll be very lucky to find one undamaged Found mine with a tiny dent on the box. The movies were in perfect condition.

Now I must say that these Batman Film are a lot of fun. Obviously hw first two are amazing, the Jim Carrey Val Kilmer is really entertaining and the fourth is better the most people think but not fantastic. I'd watch it over and over just to see Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl and Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy. We worth owning if you are a classic Batman fan.
