If you are a DC fan, don't watch this. I have no idea why there are so many positive reviews. This film doesn't understand structure or the characters. Who ever heard of a jealous joker??? It's got a bunch of mosplaced dubstep and it's misogynistic as hell. This movie is just soooo bad.

Definitely not what I feel is appropriate for my 9yo. Made him turn it off less than 10 minutes in.

They tagged on Batman to this DC animated feature just to sell copies. It really is just a suicide squad story.

DVD set did not come in box, came in paper envelope and the DVD set was damaged and banged up.

This is a strong entry into the DC animation library, albeit a more adult entry. There is violence, profanity and strong insinuation of sexy-time. That said, if you are an adult fan of the Batman universe (and who isn't?), you will not be disappointed. The voice acting to is strong for all involved (Kevin Conroy, Jennifer Hale and Troy Baker!), though I found Deadshot's to be flatter than expected (more like "Deadpan", aha). The animation itself is nothing to complain about with good action sequences. The characters are styled from the Batman "Arkham" video game franchise (especially Arkham itself and its occupants). Supposedly the movie is somewhat of a lead-on to the Arkham Knight game, but I don't see how.

Good film, voice acting is great, animation well done. We get to hear the voice of familiar actors once more that we adore (especially if you're a fan of the Justice League/Justice League Unlimited, Batman the Animated Series,etc), great humor in the film, along with action and an overall good time. If you're a fan of Task Force X or the Suicide Squad, then you'll love this, plus you get hints of Batman. Part of the Animation, Action and Crime general. Now DC is getting even more adult and gritty with their films, so keep that in mind.

I bought this because I am a big fan of not only the Arkham series, but of the Batman franchise, The Joker & Harley Quinn, and The Riddler. The Riddler, most definitely. The Riddler has always fascinated me, and he FINALLY gets to be one of the main parts of a movie! I was so disappointed when Nolan did nothing with the character in his films. Beyond rumors, he didn't touch the character unless you want to count Reese in TDK as E. Nygma somehow. Anyways, the movie's great. It's really entertaining and has a high replay value. YAHTZEE!

One of the most entertaining DCU movies ever made. The writing is LOL funny. The story is attention grabbing. The animation is top notch. Everything you could ask for in a Batman movie, except for one catch. This aint a Batman movie. It actually stars the Suicide Squad. A group of criminals working for the government in order to reduce their sentances. This is seriously one of the best comic inspired movies I've seen all year, only second to Guardians of the Galaxy.

This movie is about the Suicide Squad not Batman. It is very enjoyable getting to see the story from the villains side of things. Its the darkest and most violent of the DC animated movies but one of the best.

A GREAT starting point for anyone interested in seeing the live action SUICIDE SQUAD movie later this year.The movie POSSIBLY pushes the boundaries when it comes to its PG-13 rating (some suggestive content,parents) ;However the story is well written. And the BEST BUY exclusive Harley Quinn figurine is absolutely adorable!

The biggest departure from the usual style animated from DC / Warner Bros animation. alot darker more adult and not pitched as a hero's movie. Really a suicide squad movie with Batman as secondary.. Very Very good. If you collect these like I do, then its a MUST BUY!!!

Titiled under Batman,this is actually a Suicide Squad Animated film with Batman as a supporting character.A very dark and violent film,this is one of the best animated films produced by The WB.The only weird thing is there is no special feature on the Suicide Squad.

This has been one of the most interesting animated DC films to date. The heavy focus on the suicide squad gives the film a different tone than many others. The characters are dynamic and balanced well. Each gets a good amount of screen time.

Batman: Assault on Arkham (2014) Batman works desperately to find a bomb planted by the Joker while Amanda Waller hires her newly formed Suicide Squad to break into Arkham Asylum to recover vital information stolen by the Riddler.

This is a fun movie. It's kind of like the Ocean's Eleven films, but with much more violence and set in the DC Universe. The characters are fun, and the story moves along at a very brisk pace. I'd recommend it for older fans though since there is a lot of heavy violence.

I've never been into Harley Quinn or the Sucicide Squad, but DC really tried to do somehting different here so I give the movie high marks. It's not what I'd watch often but it's great for any Batman villian fan( especially Harley Quinn)
