Excellent writting, acting, and direction - Batman Begins simply exceeds what anyone would expect from a "super hero movie". As a Blu-Ray film, it is stunning. You feel like you are there with the actors. It is a thing of beauty. Unfortunately, the picture is so clear, that you can see the outlines and shade lines of the CGI work (note: the tumbler driving on the rooftops). It is easy to forgive when you take into account the quality of this picture. A fantastic purchase!

In my opinion, this is by far the best Batman movie to date. For any fan of Batman, it's thrilling to see a theatrical depiction of how it all started. The thing I liked best about Batman Begins is that it focuses more on Batman and developing his character than previous installments which focused more on the villains and their plots; Batman would simply come save the day at the end of the movie. All in all, an excellent addition to my DVD library.

Batman Begins marks the start of a new take on the Batman franchise. You get a deep look into Bruce Wayne's early life and what exactly led to him becoming Batman. Christian Bale is a phenomenal Bruse Wayne and a great Batman; easily one of, if not the best. Plenty of action, fighting, and an overall great blend of both sides of the life of a superhero. I really enjoyed this flick, and I recommend it to anyone!

This movie was great because it went deep into the origin of batman. How Wayne becomes batman was so interesting and intriguing. I always loved Batman movies and this is the best one yet. Christian Bale and Katie Holmes star in this movie and they play their characters quite well. Anybody who loves Batman movies as much as I do will definitely love this movie! It is such a great movie and I watch it all the time.

this is a good movie.. i am not into superhero movies that much but this on is prety good!! i like the bourn series beter though. if you are a batman freak then you will love this!!!!

This is probably the best storyline and the best movie of Batman, but don't get me wrong, I still think Michael Keaton was the best Batman, but this storyline is better because he is darker. If they keep the focus on being darker, than this series could last alot longer than the first series

Great take on a Comicbook Legend. The new Batman films will be dark but it will relate a whole lot better to the Comics a lot better than the pervious films.

Finally, someone got it right! This is the way Batman was supposed to be. Scratch the past versions of Batman, and everything you think you know. This is a great way to start it all over, the way it was intended! No more silly goofy Batman roles. This is the real Batman!!! Christian Bale should get best actor! Also, check out Dark Knight!

It is a rare occasion when the remake is better than the original, but Batman Begins surpasses the original movie series. Christian Bale does an amazing job as Batman and the supporting actors are equally entertaining. There is just the right combination of action, romance, drama and humor to make the perfect film. Put this in your collection!

This is one of the best batman movies yet. Finally Batman is back and better than ever. With state of the art equipment, he fights crime like never before. The plot is very good. Batman is fighting to stop the shadow ninja and Scarecrow. The acting and cinamatography is great which makes the movie great. Great movie for any Batman lover.

If you're a fan of Batman, then you won't be disappointed. But, if you just absolutely loved the Burton films then you will be...while Burton took a more of a fantasy approach towards the movies, Nolan takes a much more realistic one. Christian Bale delivers a good performace as the tormented Bruce Wayne, and of course who can forget Michael Caine, serving as the comic relief. The movie takes you to the very origins of Batman...from his martial art training...to his taking over Wayne Enterprises and finally saving Gotham City from breaking into chaos.

It's a great movie with wonderful acting, classic cinematography, and it looks fantastic on bluray. The surround sound is very well mixed too. The "Steelbook" case is kinda cool, but isn't worth spending more money on (I got mine on sale for $10). It's really a great addition to anyone's blu-ray collection.

This is a great blu-ray transfer better than i thought it would be plus it has great extras.. this is a very interesting movie because this is when batman learns how to be batman...i'm not going to go into why i think it's better than the sequel which was also good i can only say that believe that it is .

Taking a very dark approach to movie, Batman Begins easily outstrips its predecessors in quality. Christian Bale excels as both Bruce Wayne and Batman, but it is his supporting actors that really make this film great. Morgan Freeman and Michael Kaine are masters of their craft and they do not disappoint.

This was the best batman movie out since Batman Returns. In this movie Batman is scary to the bad guys not just a guy who can take them all out. I would have loved to see some of the other villians that Batman fought beside the scare crow and Ali Ra. It was a nice pace to see how Bruce Wayne became batman.

We get to learn more of Gotham cities crime fighting superhero from the very beginning. He's startup as the legendary hero Batman. I only wished they explored the Scare Crows involvement more. The next movie will be a step up only if they keep the same foundation. (The director, writers, producers, etc.)

I have always been a fan of batman and all the older movies were awesome. Batman begins takes the batman franchise to a whole other level though. I thought this movie was awesome and every detail was thought out perfectly. I recommend this movie to anyone who has ever liked any other batman movie.

Batman Begins is a great movie. I enjoyed this movie from start to finish. A very emotional gripping story. Christaphor Nolan + Christian Bale = An Incredible Batman movie !!! lol if that makes any sense. This movie is epic and is highly recommended, regardless if you are a fan or not.

I had to sell my previous DVD version of Batman Begins for the Blu-Ray version. The picture is crystal clear! Just amazing watching it again. Highly recommend getting it on Blu-Ray. And for $20 it's a bargain! Plus, it contains the "The Dark Knight: Prologue" (first 6 minutes of "TDK"!)!

I had never been a fan of Batman (or superheroes in general), but this film changed that. Definitely not just for comic-book fans, this movie crosses genres and stands on its own right as a great movie, trumped (in the comic-book world at least) only by its own sequel.
