Batman takes on Jack the ripper in 19th century Gotham. Definitely not for kids as a lot of the more recent releases from the DC animated universe. Makes for a very interesting story to see Batman without modern technology. Would recommend to any fan.

Purchased because I am in LOVE with 50cent the actor …. he is never a disappointment and this movie proves that. The suspense and action begins from the moment the beginning credits stop. Definitely a needed purchase for any action lovers.

This movie was good, not GREAT! but good The little book it comes with was a good price! had to get the set. but Gotham by Gaslight was a better story and could've been a better movie if they stuck close to it, but still a must watch! with the Easter Eggs

Movie was very nice although Batman was dated. I still like they kept to the original origin as much as possible. Bruce was featured more and you got a chance to know the man a little better.

A firmly set noir narrative, Batman fuses with the Jack the Ripper mythos. The change from the graphic novel are just okay, but the standout is Jennifer Carpenter as Catwoman. She's even better than Grey DeLisle.

This is one of the greats from the DC animation collection great to watch in 4K thank you Best Buy

Picked this up as a Batman fan, was not disappointed. Loved the alternate take and Elseworlds story. Voice acting was good, animation faltered a bit in some places, but nothing major. Would definitely recommend to Batman fans.

It's a good story. I bought the blu-ray because it was cheaper than the standard disc. I think it came with a digital download also. C'mon it's a Batman story....what's not to like?

I am a Batman fan and it is hard to find anything wrong with this movie. It is good to see different versions of Batman and the DCU. Looking forward to all releases from DCU. Would be nice to have a Steam Punk Batman Movie

Interesting storyline exploring Batman character living in the past. Supporting characters have depth and plays as a detective thriller rather than just another action movie.

Awesome Batman movie! Set in an older time period, Batman goes up against Jack the Ripper. Selena Kyle is also pretty awesome in this, and I didn't see the twist coming about Jack! Great addition to the DC animated universe.

This is a different take on the Batman story and they nailed it. Great animation as always with WB and DC. Also the special edition that comes with the mini graphic novel is a great bonus. Can't go wrong with this one.

Must have for Batman fan. I am not sure if you can see it on a streaming service somewhere now though. It is a good blu-ray either way. I would recommend to any Batman fans.

An excellent alternate-history/continuity take on the Dark Knight. It's fun to see how your favorite characters from the comics are altered in this timeline.

If you love Batman, this is a cool adaptation of a cool comic. Set in a Victorian age concept, the Dark Knight is hot on the tale of a murderer in the vein of Jack the Ripper....

The story is different and more bat characters appear but the pace and mood match the graphic novel. great voice cast and excellent visuals makes this a must for Batman animation fans. Batman vs jack the ripper!

One of the better DCU Batman animated movies to hit shelves in a while. Solid story, great animation, really good voice acting, even the musical score is good.

This movie is another fine quality feature from the folks at DC. There cartoon movies are always very will done. And are made for both adults and kids. If you're a Batman fan then this film is a must for your collection.

Its ok - just don't go into thinking its a batman movie. It has batman in it but it's not like any other story. They just took the characters and then changed everything.

Marvel may rule the big screen, but DC delivers on animated home video features. Batman: Gotham by Gaslight offers another great adaptation of a graphic novel, featuring an all new take on the classic character. Enjoy!
