You'll like it if you like Batman. Cause its Batman

The movie itself if pretty odd - can’t say I loved it. But the visuals were stunning. About 20 minutes in, I disregarded the story, and just enjoyed it for the artwork.

I like to watch DVD's. Best Buy has a good selection

I thought it was kind of weird, to many things go on. And leads to many questionable moments, though I’d assume that’s because I’m not really in to anime.

The animation was well done, the storyline not so much. Like watching a power rangers movie. If you like this type of movie, then you will like this one too.

I love the DC animated movies. I have them all and I was super excited for Batman Ninja to come out so that I could see a Japanese take on my favorite character. I gotta say, it was a bit off the wall but it was a blast to watch. The voice acting is a bit distracting at times, particularly Tony Hale as the Joker, but the animation and choreography of the characters is top notch. The character designs are amazing and the story is certainly unique. It's definitely worth checking out

Story line needed some major help. But I brought it for my son ....he enjoyed it. I love anime. So I figured how can you go wrong with batman anime.

I love the steelbook art work. The movie was amazing, it was extremely creative. The art styles changes a few times which caught me off guard but at the same times it adds to the story. This movie gives me anime vibes. The fighting scenes are visually pleasing and the jokes are okay. the only thing i have to say is that they have seven of the most well known villains yet Harley, the jokers, and grodd are the main ones while penguin, Deathstoke, two face, and poison ivy are put on the side just used in a small part of the movie. but over all i really enjoyed watching batman ninja it made it into my top five favorite DC movies list. i recommend people to give it a chance :)

The artwork is unique as it has been assigned to Japanese anime experts in Japan. Yes in Japan I said because lots of strange wannabe anime is now made in the West too or other countries. And don't forget about the endless hordes of wannabe anime videogames made in the West that have been popping out recently. Since this movie is really Japanese anime you get authenticity guaranteed but also remember this is a Batman movie. And there was another Batman movie called Gotham Night or something that was also anime. Rant over. Nope, not over. Let's talk about the action scenes. Or let's not, why not just buy it and experience it yourself. Cuz its really good.

Batman Ninja is quite possibly the most experimental outing from DCAU this far. Batman and the crew get sent back in time to fuedal Japan to battle his rogue gallery that was also sent back. The animation is beautiful, in style of CGI anime, such as Appleseed. It really has some breath taking action scenes and a great twist on the Dark Knight. The audio is very good, and while not reference level, is definitely felt through the movie. It has a Japanese voice track, oddly placed in the special features, which gives the movie a different feel. This is definitely worth checking out if you’re an anime fan or a Batman fan (as long as you don’t mind the new age twists).

Imagine this: you've just watched Attack On Titan, both seasons, and you're an avid Batman fan. You're searching through your collection of things to watch that's going to satisfy your urge to get more of that over-the-top action like AOT, but you also are kinda feeling like watching Batman. This is the solution. This movie is much more about the art than the story, and while the story isn't horrible, it does lag behind. But again, that's not why you're here. You're here for the over-the-top animation and long, drawn out sequences of characters yelling before they do battle. So pick this up and forget about what people who don't watch anime are saying.

I have to say this was really well made. The animation and voice acting was great. The only things that made me give this 4 out of 5 stars is that the story line was very weird to me, and I'm a big DC fan, and there was maybe two minutes of the movie where the animation style changed and I wasn't a fan of it. Besides those two minor gripes I would say every batman fan out there would be pleased to have this in their collection.

Done in Japan with anime style animation of a far-fetched storyline that is a stretch of the imagination, even for the Batman mythos. The Joker is appropriately vicious, but his voice is, IMHO, extremely annoying to listen to for the 75 minute running time of this feature. This is a great way to introduce anime fans to the Dark Knight, but this long-time Batman fan found it to be unnecessary.

A Japanese anime influenced version of Batman and his most famous friends and foes. Worth a watch for the visuals.
