The movies started out good with the Joker being very ruthless. Thought the ending could have been better.

A pretty decent adaptation. I can understand why they needed to add some additional story to the film.

I thought this film was a bore, which was very disappointing because I was so excited to watch it after I had seen the trailer. Also, I know it's rated R, but just be prepared, because the stuff it had in it almost had my stomach turned, which is hard to do. If you're a big batman fan and know the storyline by heart, you'll probably be disappointed by this as well.

Expected more for an R rated comic movie, and its not a true origin story. Just cut into bits & pieces

This is a fairly good adaptation of the comic book. If you are a fan you will most likely enjoy this.

The best thing about this is the action figure and mini-hardcover of Joker stories [not Alan Moore's Killing Joke!]. Stupid first half makes some changes to Batgirl's character that are not in the Moore/Bolland graphic novel. Second half is pretty close to the source material, which I highly recommend reading to cleanse your minds pallet after viewing this

Not as great as the hype lesd it to be believed. Mark Hamill is still the greatest Joker ever though

I didn't like it too much, I've seen almost every batman story and this one wasn't that good for me.

I know the background behind the killing joke, but in my opinion this has to be on of the worst animated Batman movies I have purchased. Keep in mind this is my opinion. The movie starts slow and never really got it going, I mean I literally fell asleep while watching this. In the end I bought this to ensure that I have all the animated Batman movies.

Have very much enjoyed the DC animated releases. Thought this one was below the others in quality

Some credit for not making a PG version.. but it just didn't hang together the way the book did

i love DC animated movies and was looking forward to this for not only the story but this was the first R rated movie from DC. I do not understand why the first half of the movie was a side story about batgirl. This movie had the potential to really test some boundries and earn an R rating but it just added some bad language and suggestion. T

The added Batgirl story seems like a complete non-sequitor to the story everyone came to see.

Was an okay DVD..it should be noted its the first time that see the Joker get Batman to laugh.

I thought the movie was interesting, but not great. I would suggest renting instead of buying.

This story was so hyped up that I was expecting something to the caliber of "under the red hood" but in no way was it near the intensity! The story didn't flow well and I feel they only got Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill and Tara Strong to do the voice over to bring attention to an otherwise weak story. And I didn't care for the animation style.

Instead of focusing mainly on the Joker's story, it focuses on Batgirl... Its an OK watch
