For true batman fans the action is ok, but they crossed the line with Batgirl and had the nerve to have an anticlimactic ending. This movie was like a 1st date that your not sure if it was good or bad, lol. It's worth watching.

I had never read the killing joke comic but with Kevin Conroy and mark hamill voicing this movie I was excited. The movie is pretty decent. I wasn't a fan of the ending but Hammil and Conroy once again kill it. (No pun intended)

OMG! If you haven't seen this movie, prepare yourself for one crazy ride! This movie tells a unique point of view in the always intense relationship between the dark knight and his rival The Joker. This movie does contain some graphic scenes for beware that this movie is not for younger viewers but a must see and grab for all Batman fans. Enjoy!!

If you are preparing to buy this film, then I am sure that you are aware of the controversy surrounding it. However, don't let this deter you. This is a great film and the additional 30 minutes at the beginning only improves the story therein. If you are looking for a great Batman film that steers clear of the New 52 line of films, then this is for you.

The Killing Joke serves as a very straightforward adaptation of the graphic novel. The movie explores the twisted bond between Batman and Joker as the Clown Prince of Crime embarks on one of his most terrible crime sprees yet.

The story does follows the original novel version very close. Although there are some fine tuning done during some of the most shocking scenes or the original story. This is a most see for a true Batman fan, is worth watching.

Got the graphic novel the week it came out. 1st REAL time you knew how depraved The Joker was. Years later, heard about this production. Also knew Mark Hamill retired from voicing Joker, but said he'd do it once more if they ever decided to do THIS one. Saw it in the theater. Bought it the day it came out. Has MORE than the original story in it... Great!

When first seeing the teaser for this Frank Miller's story from the 80s I literally melted. The animation as usual from WB Animation is still top quality. The transition from page on to moving picture was quite fitting. I can't remember the lines from the graphic novel for say, but I do believe it is word for word. Don't hold me on that count though.

Well this was for all intents and purposes an awesome movie and story. However there is one major thing I didn't like about it. Without giving away any spoilers I couldn't believe the way Batman responded to a major event.

The movie matches well with the comics besides the beginning story plot. Personally I found it unnecesary but it gave it some length. Still fun to see Mark Hamil and Kevin Conroy face off with their amazing voice acting

Didn't read the book before watching the movie so I didn't know what to expect since I've heard so much of the book. Overall it was a pretty good movie nothing outstanding but morning bad either. I'd say it's worth a watch

I had brought the comic book when it was released and don't remember much of the story, so I was curious when I saw the film on HBO. I decided to buy it when I saw the price at Best Buy. I liked the romantic relationship between Batgirl and Batman, but it could have been explored more. I enjoyed the flashback showing another version of how the Joker came to be and he was extremely creepy about what happened with Barbara Gordon when he tortured her father. Overall, it was a good Batman film, but the story could have been better. I have seen better. This film left me wanting more.

This was an interesting side of Joker. We have never seen what type of person he was prior to becoming the Joker. Ditto with Batgirl..... all the years of seeing her as the "sidekick to Batman & Robin.... Good story writing! I was hoping to get this cheaper on an online site, but apparently this is as good as you can get.

This is a satisfying movie that follows the comic perfectly. Of course they had to stretch it out to feature length so they added a prologue. I liked the prologue but its not as engaging as the second half of the movie.

A straightforward adaption of the graphic novel. The bond that the Joker and the Batman have shows how far the Joker will go. With a Batgirl subplot showing what the Joker is truly capable of doing that's unsettling.

I really loved it. I didn't grow up the biggest Batman reader, I watched the TV series re-runs as a child of the mid 60s. I have seen all the modern Batman movies and recently going through as many Superhero cartoons as I can. This was quite a turn for me to see the darker, gritty side of all the characters. Probably not a show for kids.

This movie is not as good as other DC animated movies. Not a bad one, but they have set the bar so high with their other ones. It is a decent movie though. If you are familiar with the comic, they have changed some things. Not a big deal though. It is the 1st R rated DC animated movie. This story needed an R rating to be told properly. The thing is, there isn't much in it that warrants an R rating. Maybe just the content. All in all, it is a decent movie that is worth a watch for comic fans and non-fans alike. But if you're expecting the same standard as the previous DC animated movies, you may be dissapointed.

The packaging and presentation are very nice. It's a dark movie that seems to get better as it goes. Without giving any spoilers I was personally disappointed with the ending. Of course the price was right at Best Buy.

This is a classic novel that was well brought to life. They added to the story to make it longer and that's where they lose a star. The source material is the strongest and the added is weak. Overall great addition.

The first half of the movie was ok. It was not a necessary part of the movie. The second half, which is the actual adaptation of the book was good. The included graphic novel with this blu ray package is really great.
