I'm generally not big into comic books or animated adaptations, but this is an excellent adaption of the source material. I would love to see this story translated into a live action feature film some day.

Loved the mini graphic novel, and the little figure as well. The second half of the movie is amazing. The first half I do like except for one factor which you may or may not have heard about but I do not spoil things for people even if they have been out a while. But I ignored the one happening and enjoyed the rest of a great adaptation.

I didn't read any reviews or summaries before I bought this. It went a different way than I thought it would, but I still liked it. Mark Hamill is amazing as always and this movie is worth the price just for him.

As usual a well made animation epic production, where riveting dramatic moments abound. A more adult theme of a story than most I've seen before. Overall well worth watching if you are a fan of the DC animations.

I got this movie because I like all the dc movies. I read about this comic and was excited about the story but it wasn't as i expected. I think we are too us to violence now a day that this was just another story.

Best Buy advertises this as coming with a digital code but conveniently leaves out the fact that Warner Bros. recently disabled codes for hundreds (thousands?) of titles. You can expect any WB movie that Best Buy advertises as “on sale” will have an unusable digital code inside.

I watched this using a rental coupon from redbox. I enjoyed the movie, but the ending wasn't very good. If you can get it on sale, like I did when I ordered it than buy it. I would say it is worth $7 or $8 dollars. I would have loved to add this to my collection, but the carrier messed that up by not holding the item for me.

This blu ray was released on my birthday this year. I bought it for myself as a gift. I had a movie night with my family and everyone loved the movie. I guess no one thought that batman could get that dark.

Read another review online. Long story short, ignore the backstory for batgirl. Start with joker attacking. Movie starts there. Ending didn't do it for me but to be fair I never read this particular comic.

The only thing I didn't like about this movie was the added backstory. I understand why it was included, but feel that it changes the Batman mythology significantly, and not necessarily in a positive way.

If you have read the graphic novel, it does deviate from the source material, but that's okay. It is still an amazing piece of animation. Just remember, IT IS NOT FOR KIDS! It is R-Rated for a reason!!!

This movie didn't deserve the backlash it got. the only problem was the transition between the newly created beginning and the killing joke story which could have been better. It is still worth watching.

This is an r-rated adaptation of an Alan Moore comic. Not intended for a young audience. More over the top than Under The Red Hood (which opened with The Joker beating Robin to death with a crow bar and laughing......on camera). The Warne Animated features aee intended for adult comic fans. Bear thus in mind when shopping.

The Killing Joke It is an interesting film. Joker’s past has always been a mystery. Detective comics rarely give the reader a clear character background. This film gives an interesting and consicse biography. Fist of the North Star I have seen the original Fist of the North Star film. The original was superior. This film was entertaining, but the antagonists were less interesting. In the original animated film, Kenshiro was connected to the antagonists. This film was less emotional. He was out for justice and not fighting a personal vendetta.

Saw it at the theater the night before it came out and loved it, so I had to get it ASAP. My only complaint is that the Mark Hamill interview was not on the Blu Ray, have never looked if it was on the DVD but it was cool to see at the theater and I wanted to see what I missed since it was in progress when I got there.

There is quite a lot of padding in the first half of the film ( along with one monumentally awkward moment between two characters), but definitely worth it for the second half.

It's definitely worth buying this movie! Mark Hamil portraying the Joker again, does anything else need to be said?? It's a great adaptation to the graphic novel, is it perfect, probably not, but when has there ever been a perfect comic movie. Still, I would stay it's definitely one to have in your collection!

I loved Batman TAS, and while this was a different team of people, it brought me back. Unfortunately, they twist the source material a little in unnecessary ways, but overall it's a great watch.

I read the comic two weeks before the movie came out, and enjoyed both. The movie took pages right out of the comic and put it in screen. They did change some things but essentially stayed the same

I really like these movies, but the beginning was unnecessary. They should have done a movie or beginning where Robin quits as batman to save time and space when they do Teen Titans Judas contract
