I like the DC animated movies, and this lives up to the usual quality. The second half of the movie is a good representation of the book, the first half of the movie is really about Barbra Gordon.

This was one of my favorite graphic novels. The casting choices of the original animated Batman series voice actors was what sold this movie for me. Definitely an improvement my to my collection.

Good movie. Love that Mark Hamill returned as the Joker. Felt like a darker version of the old Animated Series. Only one thing felt off which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Worth the purchase.

If your a fan of the animated series you'll love this movie. Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy are still the best duo for batman and the joker. Ive read the novel and it sticks pretty true. Also saw it in the theater. I enjoyed the batgirl backstory. One of my favorite animated movies from dc next to flashpoint.

An animated version of The Killing Joke, one of the best Batman/Joker stories. A new intro is added to pad the run-time and raise the stakes, but the portion from the comic is worth the view.

Loved this addition to the DC Comics cartoon movie collection. This is a really good movie, it goes into the origins of The Joker and even Batman. I buy all these releases from DC Comics and this movie rocks. Go ahead and buy it if you are a Batman and Joker fanatic like I am, you won't be disappointed.

I was surprised to see this product Rated R. It's for a reason. And warranted. The violence is disturbing and will stick with you for a while.

Overall, it was a pretty good adaptation. There was a lot of commotion about adding the batgirl drama in and some of it felt forced. I sort of forgot how dark it was. Definitely not for kids

What a loss if they remove this from the remade Dc Universe

Not as good as the comic. Best part of the movie is Mark Hamill as the Joker. Boy he really nails it. Don't get me wrong, the movie isn't bad, just kind of lulls at points. Still recommend.

This story is such a pivotal graphic novel, and to be realized by the cast and writers/directors that did the Batman/Justice League series make this even more real and disturbing as these are characters we grew up with; now brought to the edge! have the comic and the figure are just icing on the cake

I purchased the "Batman: The Killing Joke" Blu-ray/DVD combo at my local Best Buy store at a great sale price of $17.99. The movie proved to be full of non-stop sharp animated action with a surprise ending. I am very pleased with my purchase as an awesome entertainment value. I highly recommend!

I am very happy the finally made this into a movie, and with a cast of voice actors like mark hamill, Kevin Conroy, and grey delisle you know it's going to be a home run. I feel like the studio did not play it safe for this one and the movie was just as dark as the comic like it was meant to be.

Having read the original comic I was looking forward to the movie version. The extra added piece about Batgirl was also good. I would recommend this movie, but beware it's R rated.

As far as animation movies go from a book this one is 95% on the mark excellent story and one of the rare Classics of the Batman Mythos get the movie not for children though enjoy

An adaptation of one of the darkest and most adult Batman stories. The second part of the film is especially faithful to the comic. The exclusive graphic novel was a great extra.

This was exactly as advertised, the graphic novel has been animated and voiced to perfection. Very entertaining movie even if you haven't read the story, it is enjoyable and will keep you glued to your seat. Though it is animated, this is absolutely not for children. Also includes UV copy

I read the comic The Killing Joke so many years ago (most Batman fans have, I'm sure), so when this movie was announced, I knew I had to see it. It isn't as good as the comic series (most movie adaptations of books never are), but it holds its own compared to other venerable Batman films.

They nailed the parts that were part of the original graphic novel spot on. The first 30 minutes were clearly filler which was necessary and not bad. Extras in limited set were good. In the last few DC sets with a book the book was a related story but not the source material for the movie.

This was pretty entertaining since I enjoy a serious story. Although not a fan of the Barbara and Bruce relationship other than fighting crime together.
