If you are a fan of Batman comics you will probably like this. I do prefer the art in the actual comic but this isn’t badly done and I did enjoy watching it.

This movie shows a lot of unknown facts related to the joker. It kept interest on what is going to happen next. For a cartoon movie, the colors and images are excellent.

I love the classic Batman series from the 90s and seeing Mark Hammil reprise his role as the Joker is a dream come true. Not my favorite DC movie but a great one to have

Didn't notice the R rating till after I bought it, was a little worried. Language I little rough but not bad . Great and emotional story line. A little graphic in parts.

Great movie a bit different from the comics but was still enjoyable and a good watch overall although the included figure was a nice bonus rather cheap looking though

Very dark and distorted joker in this movie. Some things happen that really shock you, and didn't like the new backstory they tried to introduce

Its about time that the graphic novel such as the killing joke was made into a movie. The hype was so great that there were a few theatres around that actually showed it on the big screen just before of the dvd release date. Something to definitely add to your dvd collection.

this lil gem is a great oppurtunity to put in your copllectiion along with the killing joke graphic novel and mask package from your local book store. this dvd comes with a mini novel , joker figure and all kinds of goodies buy it for your self or your favorite dc comic geek

I'd like to give this a higher rating, but the ending is just so...ABRUPT. Admittedly, I haven't read the comic upon which the movie is based, so I assume that's also how the comic ends. The animation was good, the voice acting also good (Conroy and Hamill!), and the Batgirl segment, while somewhat nonsensical, was probably my favorite part. But the overall story, I thought, was sort of weak. Still, it's entertaining enough, especially if you are a fan of the classic Batman: The Animated Series.

strayed from the original graphic novel a bit, but made good on a animated version on how the book would have been who hasn't read it yet. pretty good interpretation.

First let me say I have never read the Killing Joke comic so did not know what to expect when watching the movie. It was a very good movie and I really enjoyed it. I have watched just about all of the animated Batman movies and would be put this near the top of all of them.

If you love the graphic novel then you'll love seeing it come to life. You can easily skip the first 30-35 minutes which is batgirl's prologue to go straight to the graphic novel. Also the special features are great and including an episode from Batman: the animated series!

I was expecting more. Dc has developed interesting animated movies, it is not one of my favorites but every person has a different point of view therefore watch it.

This was a pretty cool story,great animation but not as much action as I thought would be. Ending was not so good. Oh well the bonus features were a nice surprise!

I thought it was a good cut above the usual, PG-13 fanfare offered by DC Animated movies. It was a "soft" R-rated movie, with great character development, although the ending was not-quite, what I felt-- was an appropriate wrap-up to an otherwise-- very mature storyline.

Tara Strong, Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill return in this must-have for true Batman fans. The package contained a Joker figurine, graphic novel and of course the movies on disc. Although not quite the movie I was expecting, I would easily recommend this to any adult fan.

The movie is great movie but if you are a huge fan if the comic you might be annoyed because of the filling of bat girl. But overall is great and i really enjoyed.

1st half is a bit less than the normal DC standards, but the the actual Killing Joke, second half, is great. Really well adapted to the screen.

This is a big disappointment. The comic is edgy and not for the faint of heart, but a story where the Joker tortures and maims Barbara Gordon and then tortures Jim Gordon with that is not going to appeal to everyone. It's a horror story. It is also a key piece to modern Batman lore. I was looking forward to seeing this, and did in the theaters, because of Bruce Timm's involvement as well as the best Batman and Joker returning Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill. Boy. I know they were going with a comic come to life look, but the animation is bad and choppy to the point of distraction. They should have gone Animated Series style or something, but they wanted to bring the look of the comic to the screen-but dude, make it look better than that! The idea of adding more Barbara Gordon/Batgirl to the beginning to give what happens more of an impact I was good with, but she comes across as a mixed up teenager instead of a woman in her 20s. Then the out of nowhere rooftop scene with Bats? That made no sense. They should have just given her a story, not a love story, and that would have been fine. Once we get to the actual comic book storyline it's good and it saves this from being a complete dud, but I really expected SO much more from the people who put this together; and I know it was a dream project for Hamill and Conroy and Timm which makes no sense with the results. Got it because I'm a completest, and waited until it was on sale.

Pretty good, it could’ve been alittle more to it and more what it could be but not so bad
