The first half of the movie absolutely sucks. I love how the actual story was adapted with some little added details which enhanced the story. But I can't get over how much the first half is just another story hastily slapped on in front of the Killing Joke that ruins the overall tone and pacing. I like the figure, though. Nice collectible of the Joker.

Still love a good batman caper.as a kid I used to sit right in front of the TV to watch batman when it was in black &white or original cartoons.

The movie is based on the classic graphic novel of the same name. It was good to hear the voices of the classic batman animated series in this.

Killing joke is one of the best comic book stories ever written. If you want to see the Joker at his very best this will be the movie to watch.

The Killing Joke is often considered to be one of the best Batman stories of all time, and THE best Joker story of all time. Naturally this animated adaptation was highly anticipated by fans of the graphic novel. Unfortunately, the actual film is a disappointment. The animation feels like stiff and unfinished flash animation, and the film adds a 40 minute prologue to the story that feels like an episode of Desperate Housewives with Batgirl. The intro is boring, tedious, butchers the character of Batgiirl and features a shockingly unnecessary and completely uncomfortable love making scene between Batman and Batgirl that feels like something out of a parody on Robot Chicken. Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy do give it their absolute all as Joker and Batman, but you can just look up those iconic scenes from the book on the Internet. It's not awful, but it feels like little effort was put in, and all the best parts are lifted straight from the Comic. You'd be better off reading that instead.

Haven't seen this for cheaper than $15 anywhere, so when I saw this for $7 on Black Friday with both DVD & Blu-Ray, I had to pick this up. Movie is very dark & had some interesting romances, but still a must watch for any adult Batman fan.

I haven't looked at this movie yet, but I anticipate that it'll be good since the Joker is the best villian ever in the DC Comics universe!

There is batman after all! They may have made changes and animation could of been better but in the end it's still the best detective ever.

I fairly enjoyed the film not knowing anything previous about the Killing Joke story line. Nonetheless I always enjoy the DCU Animated films.

Killing Joke was great except for the intro into Batgirl which was just, bad. Past that, when it got to the actual Killing Joke, much better.

Adding more to Barbra's story leading to the original comic, give the audience more of a connection to how the story effects her. Great film!

I won't lie, bought this mostly for the figurine. Movie left something to be desired, but everything else included in this box set was great!

If you're a Batman fan, you'll enjoy this animated feature retelling (and slightly expanding) a classic tale. The animation won't disappoint.

A very dark and violent story. Definitely not for young children. Only the Joker could be so twisted.

I purchased it for the great price and all the collectible stuff that came with. Kinda gives a background on the Joker.

I was beyond excited to purchase this movie. I regret not pre-ordering the comic book and joker figure bundle. Had no idea there would be such a high demand and low supply. Movie is a classic. Loved the anime, resolution and the cover art.

Was a good movie, better comic. The story is a bit different then the comic but still good. Mark Hamill is still the best Joker of all time.

This is a great movie. The director did a good job of being true to the comics. The Killing Joke is one of the best Batman stories out there. I recommend it for every Batman fan. Please be advised that this is not a cartoon movie for kids.

I really enjoyed Killing Joke. It was in fact the origin of the Joker. I loved how they brought all the Jokers personal issues into the spot light which lead him down this dark path. The ending could have been better but still a great buy.

It's good for a collector or fan of batman and joker but other films are better. I will enjoy seeing it with my nephews when they get older
