If you like this movie, and I know there is a lot of division about it, the 4k is worth the upgrade. The extended cut makes the movie better by adding more story and character motivation.

    Good but not great

This is a good but not a great movie. It is entertaining and well done but pales in comparison to the Marvel movies and the Christian Bale Batman movies. That being said, the Wonder Woman character is a good addition but I believe the Lex Luther character was played incorrectly as a type of Jar Jar Binks comedy relief character for much of the movie. Was more annoying than menacing. He kept on trying to be menacing with a comedy touch and I thought it was the wrong tone. Still, a pretty entertaining movie overall if taken on its own but not as good as other superhero movies.

Watched it in the theater and liked it enough to buy this. Have an extended version which add some more elements to the movie to fill in some of the gaps. Different than Marvel's movies and darker too.

I have never had a problem with DVD's/Blu-ray, but the movie itself was great. A lot of bonus content, and if you are up for getting a chance to see the extended version that includes deleted scenes from the version shown in theaters, then you are in for a real treat! Must have for my collection!

Though skeptical of Affleck as Batman I thought he did a wonderful job as an aging superhero. Cavill's Superman was stoic yet steady. Eisenberg's Lex Luthor was both interesting and refreshing. Loved the story and the newcomers! Special effects were awesome! Can't wait for the next installment.

I mean it included some graphic novels stories from the old days and the most reason one i really like it, as far as the movie goes not so much.. yet i didnt have a big expectation for it to begin with.

A must have to start the Justice League storyline. Action packed, however, the storyline drags halfway through the movie. Again, if you're a fan, you need this movie at a reasonable price from Best Buy.

I purchased this as I am a huge Superman and Justice League fan. The movie has plenty of action and great actors. The story is good and sets things up for the future Justice League film. The set came with a graphic novel of the best superhero battles which was a big plus. Highly recommend.

This is overall a good film for fans of the characters. I like the fact that there are links to other films such as Wonder Woman and Justice League. The picture quality on blu-ray is great.

Most of this movie took itself WAY too seriously. Part of the reason that the Marvel movies are so popular is the chemistry between characters, their own inherent likability, and a good smattering of humor. Affleck's Batman & Cavill's Superman aren't terribly likable in this movie, they spend most of it angry, bitter, and gritting their teeth. That's not why the public goes to see superhero movies. By far the best part of this movie is when Wonder Woman shows up (which is why I wanted to see it in the first place, to gain context for her stand-alone film).

This movie got very harsh reviews and stands up way better over time. This edition includes 30 minutes of extra footage that helps "sew" some of the originally marred scenes and makes a huge difference.

This Ultimate edition is the movie we should've seen in theaters. It contains extra footage that explains better many of the half-assed scenes presented in the theatrical one; it complements the whole movie. The graphic novel adds more characters and a different plot; this edition is a must have.

I didn't see this in the theater, and waited to enjoy it at home. I liked the extended version of the movie better. They usually help explain some of the questions that come up for me. I say go for it!

Dc fails to deliver the knockout punch here. The movie was rushed with introducing the other metastatic. Doomsday could have been left out. Should of casted TV flash and arrow. Somebody hand dcu the L.

I love this movie and the Limited edition with the steel box is awesome. One side of the the steel book is Batman and on the other side is Superman. So you can display whichever superhero you like! I also loved the loads of extra features they have in these discs. I am really glad I bought this.

I wonder why they would release the theater version which chopped up the storyline and made for a very uneven movie. I understand the need to keep the movie length down to a reasonable time but, at the expense of the plot??? This extended version was very good and I enjoyed the movie experience.

This movie did not have a lot of fans but I definitely really liked it. As a matured comic book reader it met all expectations. If you don't want a 3d format this steelbook exclusive is the one to get.

The movie is a dark movie like all batman movies. But, the Ultimate version is far more cohesive and enjoyable than what was shown in the theater. As long as it is at 3 hrs, it's a far better movie.

Not Bad But Not Great Either

After a fine series of movies in the Dark Knight trilogy, DC entertainment just can't seem to find its groove with its last few films. This wasn't a horrible movie but if DC wants to contend with Marvel Entertainment, they have quite a ways to go yet. One thing that DC can do is not make the movies quite so dark... yes, the Dark Knight movies tended to be a bit dark but even then it was starting to be a bit overdone when The Dark Knight Rises was released. Anyway, if you are into superhero/comic movies then this is one to watch, if you are not, stick with the Marvel movies
