in this film i went in with an open mind, and enjoyed it for a series/universe re boot. added excitement for the future in the teases of things to come, finally a semi decent dc universe future to look forward to, also if u like superman know that this is a batman movie featuring him more than a superman film.

So the theatrical cut is 2:30+ hours and the extended over 3 hours. That being said, the extended version is worth it. Without any spoilers, there is a lot fewer plot holes and a lot more set up for Wonder Woman and Justice League movies. Wonder woman is definitely worthy to be on the extended edition cover.

Very disappointed in the theatrical version but the ultimate version at least makes the story coherent. I've watched it a few times now and its enjoyable. Takes a long time to get to the action that you have been waiting for but it pays off. Maybe one day Snyder will pull a Lucas and overdub "Martha?!"

I know this movie has gotten a lot of hate. My opinion is yes the has flaws. But I still enjoyed it, the action, cinemotagraphy, and soundtrack were all positives. The story was a bit on the weak side. But the biggest issue I had was some of the scenes werent really needed. The theatrical cut could of done without 15-30 Minutes. The directors cut should of done that and would have benefited from it, instead Zack added more scenes and made the film feel a lot longer then it should had been. Yes it does explains a few things but at least take out the stuff that does nothing but drags the film. Ben Affleck shines as the new batman, gal gadot does great as wonderwoman, Henry Cavill's superman is depressing, would like to see him snap out it and cut the bs. DC Still has a chance to get it together and hopefully they learn from this.

DC joins the party to rival Marvel with Batman V Superman. While this movie was a bit darker than Marvel movies, it was overall pretty good. Affleck as Batman was surprisingly great. Wonder Woman casting was great, too. We'll see if DC can build upon this movie. Recommended for superhero fans.

I enjoyed the movie quite a bit, but it felt more like it was a 2.5 hour teaser trailer for the DCEU. Not an action-packed superhero movie like the marvel movies. It had great action sequences, but just mostly setting up storylines and politics. As far as the Steelbook goes, it is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

The theater version was okay as entertainment however there was not enough plot consistently throughout the film. The ultimate version adds another 30 minutes and fills in some of the gaps to present better plot reasoning. Save your money and buy the Blu-Ray instead of going to the theater.

The movie is a little slow to develop, but once it gets going, its great! Affleck is my favorite Batman so far and this movie is more of a Batman movie with Superman throughout. Steelbook is great! You get the Batman cover with the purchase of the Superman cover, its a reversible steelbook.

I absolutely loved both theatrical and extended cuts(extended cut definitely filled in some holes tho). By far a better film than Civil War in my opinion. DC has shown that they aren't catering to just the kiddies and try to go a bit more adult, more darker tone, more real life environment with their first 2 takes on their shared universe. Can't wait for Wonder Woman and Justice League to drop next year

I am not going to review the movie because is a flip of coin if you really want to like this movie. As of the Steelbook exclusive design is not bad design, you have batman on one side and superman on the other side. Nothing inside but your UV code and that was a bummer.

Outstanding image quality in Dolby Vision. Outstanding sound with Dolby Atmos! I'm glad that the Ultimate cut will get the full UHD/HDR treatment, when it is realized on 4K Blu-ray.

I found that the movie was decent. I felt almost all of the trailers gave all of the big moments away which made it less enjoyable. Overall though it was a good movie. I'm excited to see what the Rated R/Unrated version has to offer! Hopefully it makes it better!

Affleck at his best, n axcellent directing by Snyder. As good as the previous 3, but yet diff. The only thing I didnt like, which is not tour typical Batman movie, was when they were fighting the giant alien. I loved Lex Luthor character, he was magnificent.

Batman v Superman is no more convoluted than Marvel's Civil War but got a way worst score. It's a good movie not great but the extended edition is a must need to fully understand the movie a lot of plot points were missing from the theatrical version.

Love the movie itself, from the soundtrack to the special effects to the cinematic scenery, perspective and design. I had to get this in 3D and the 4K both copies!!! Can't wait for JL to come out!! I just love the more seriousness in super hero movies just like the dark knight series!!

I will always remember this movie for Wonder Woman making her film debut. Gal made Wonder Woman relevant again and she was perfect to play the role. Lots of action and the fight scenes were amazing. Batman and Superman were great, but Wonder Woman stole the show and it was brilliant. Also, this movie looks awesome in 4K.

I think that this movie was judged a bit harsher than necessary. Fun way to spend a couple hours and they set up future movies as well. I am excited to watch in 4K with HDR to see if it is better than regular Blu-Ray since it is such a dark movie.

I thought the movies was really good. It was somewhat reminiscent of the Dark Knight Trilogy. It was more on the darker side that some of the other hero movies. Not a huge Ben Affleck fan but I was surprised by his portrayal of Batman. Good watch.

Purchased this special edition blu-ray not only because i liked the movie, but walked in and saw this best buy exclusive comic that came with the movie. Has more than one story and gives better insight to "rivalry" of Batman vs Superman.

Ben Affleck as Batman? Seriously? He was okay as Daredevil, but Batman he is not, sorry Ben, very disappointed... In theaters, it is understood that DC characters fight, but to the death? And Superman would never... oh I hated this movie, no more comment on this one, totally bad... and Superman man of steel continued here... another bad movie... Cute Wonder Woman could not save the movie, and blu Ray rated the pg13 movie R... I did not purchase. Oh, by the way, into the credits and ending, Superman’s fist came out of the ground... Justice League skipped that...
