This movie was just OK. Although the steel books are advertised as two different versions (Batman or Superman), they are really the same thing. The steel book is just reversible.

This is a movie that before we watched it we thought that Ben Afleck was going to be the worst part, but he was actually the best. From that however, there is very little good to say about the movie. This movie should be rated zero stars just for the way that they handled Lex Luthor. DC in my opinion is a bunch of unrelateable superheroes (I'm not a billionaire or invulnerable) and some amazing villains. If you are going to make a DC movie get the villains right. Lex is a super genius that's charismatic enough to become the President of the US, this movie turned him into an unintimidating nut house reject. He sacrifices his most loyal pawn for for no real purpose and puts himself right in the middle of Superman's crosshairs with no real out. This is not Lex. Loved Wonder Woman, just not sure why she's all of a sudden French. The story is 6 stories crammed into one with no real solid flow. And I don't care what anyone says, this movie has the most ridiculous reasoning behind a superhero ceasefire ever. I watched this movie in the theaters and would have walked out if I had gone alone. I would say to buy this movie for a child because they might enjoy it, aside from the fact that Batman kills more people in this movie than he has throughout the entirety of the comics. I cannot express how painful this movie was to watch. They butchered Lois (she is not a damsel in distress), Superman is still an all powerful emo whiner, Batman is a mass murdering lunatic, and Lex oh my god Lex. I really hope Jesse Eisenberg is done acting after this role. If you're an old school DC fan this movie will make you mad, please don't waste your time.

The movie definitely moves a lot slower than normal super-hero films. However, I think they are trying to do something different than Marvel. While flawed still worth watching.
