    Way better then theatre cut

Saw the theatre cut of this movie and hated it even though I'm a huge fan of Batman. I thought I'd hate Batflack but oddly enough I didn't feel like he did a bad job at all... It was they way they cut the film is what the problem was. It kept jumping all over the place with huge gaps in between leaving you confused throughout the entire movie. This Ultimate cut replaces all the scenes that were cut and fills in those gaps making it way more enjoyable. The 4K version is definitely the way to go if you have a UHD 4K player and 4K TV. The picture looks fantastic and makes superman costume especially really pop. Also worth it for the Atmos audio soundtrack which sounds incredible during the bat mobile chase scene.

    Better than the theatrical version

I did actually like the theatrical version of this movie, and probably would not have bought the blu-ray if I hadn't. The ultimate edition does make some improvements to help the story line a little more. I think the biggest problem I had is that they try to cram too much into one movie. Ben Affleck was a surprisingly good Batman and Gal Gadot was a total badass as Wonder Woman. However, I think that they should have had their own solo movies first before teaming up in BvS. Marvel took several years before bringing their characters together in The Avengers, but DC is trying too hard to have that success right away without the buildup and unfortunately you can't rush these things. I still liked it though.

I think they did a great job of bringing something new to the table in the batman world. Alot of people said negative things about it bc they picked Ben Affleck as the new batman. But they had to choose an older more experienced batman and he did great I think. And BTW he appeared to be alot stronger than dark knight trilogy. It had some good fight scenes and batman's punches were massive. And it was a bit darker than usual but that comes from DC. Jessie Eisenberg did a fabulous job as the villian Lexus Luther, Henry Cavil as Superman did another great job, and the new Wonder Woman played by Gal Gadot was badddd A.. and I wanna see her movie coming out soon! As well as the Justice League!

Batman Vs Superman did not live up to the expectations of many but within the film were some great moments. This film featured what was probably the best version of Batman on film (not the best Batman film, just portrayal). The continuation of Man of Steel Superman and the introduction of Wonder Woman were enjoyable to see and having them and Batman all together in one movie was a cool experience. The issues feel on the villains which seems to be a common issue with comic films over the last few years. The package includes the 4K R rated ultimate cut of the film which looks great, it comes with a digital copy that you can take on the go as well as the standard Blu Ray copy.

    Excellent Justice League Genesis Story

Batman vs Superman is a fun take of how the Justice League came to be. It doesn't show how the whole superhero group had formed yet, just it's three main members: Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. It shows how the characters didn't all start out as friends, because of how different they see things, brought about by their different life experiences. I was underwhelmed when I saw this movie in the theaters, as were a lot of people, both casual movie-goers and die-hard comic book fans alike. After seeing it again on blu-ray, I finally understood why. The theatrical version of this film has been heavily edited for time, resulting in scenes being cut that turned out to be essential to the story line. The blu-ray version includes the extended version, with all the cut parts put back into the main movie (not as separate special feature deleted scenes), and the viewing experience hugely improved. There's a flow in the story that didn't seem to be there for the theatrical release.

... in a movie together! Despite what critics have said, I really enjoyed this movie. Ben Affleck was great as Bruce Wayne and Batman. Loved Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Henry Cavil is fine as Superman, but Christopher Reeve will always be my favorite. I wasn't happy about Lex played by Jesse Eisenberg (I really like him in other stuff) but he was ok... I'd rather not see a bratty young version of Lex. The batman fight alone made this movie amazing, but the fight between the 2 main characters didn't last long and ended the strangest way. I'm really looking forward to Justice League and Wonder Woman... and AquaMan because of James Wan. I'm nervous about the Flash.

I know Batman versus Superman, Dawn of Justice is not getting a lot of love from critics but I actually liked it. It was certainly a departure from the Marvel format of action and hijinks. It was very dark and almost morose at times but the story worked. I didn’t know how they would stage this obvious mismatch – figuring there had to be some kryptonite involved. It’s tribute to Cavill and especially Affleck in the lead roles. I know there was a lot of consternation when Affleck was announced as Batman but he’s very, very good. He plays an older Batman weighed down by the seeming ineffectiveness of his lifelong fight against crime. Gotham City is placed directly adjacent to Metropolis with their competing superheroes on a collision course engineered by Lex Luthor. While every other actor, even those with limited roles like Holly Hunter, shines, it was surprising that Eisenberg was so bad as Lex Luthor. He was so over the top and blatant that you wonder why he wasn’t squashed early on.
