We purchased this movie for our grandson. He really likes this movie.

DC finally hit one out of the park! While it's definitely been one of the most talked about movies of the year, it still isn't as great as the things Marvel has been working on. I heard so much about it, I was so excited to watch it and see how everything played out. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed in the movie, and most of the good stuff had already played in previews or been talked about online, so not a whole lot of surprises. With that being said, however, I must say that there was a lot of action in the movie, some great effects, and overall, it was the best that DC has done so far. I will be excited to see where they go from here.

So a lot of people hate this movie. I did not. I enjoyed it when I saw it in the theaters. It wasn't the best superhero film ever, but it was a lot of fun with some great acting and cool fights. This ultimate edition adds another 30 minutes to the film, and for the most part it is quite good. The added scenes connect more of the dots and flesh out more of the characters in a very satisfying way. If you hated this film, the extra 30 minutes are not going to change your mind. But if you liked it like I did, then this ultimate edition is going to give you more to enjoy. The double-sided Batman/Superman steelbook packaging is a fun addition too.

Amazing movie! Watch it over and over again! A must have!

Although on the cover it says digital copy there is none in the packaging. Disc to Digital from Vudu does not work with the UPC. The uncut version is slightly better than theatrical version

This isn't your standard superhero flick. Batman V Superman delves deep into the drives of the characters rather than using the more formulaic setup-knockdown story between the protagonist and antagonist. This holds especially true with the ultimate edition, which gives Superman a greater narrative impact, balancing the tension between him and Batman compared to the theatrical cut (also included in this set). Some of the best moments take place out of costume, making the characters matter more as individuals, instead of defining them by a series of one-liners and superpowers, and the story follows suit - unfolding layer by layer until the very end. This isn't the superhero movie you'll want to toss in to see some action. It certainly has that, but what Dawn of Justice brings is an enthralling story of manipulation. The superhero element is a bonus to a movie that would be great without it.

An outstanding example of serialized superhero cinema, and what it can be. Director Snyder uses the formulaic structure of a traditional superhero story as a pretext to examine the dynamics of real world issues as they unfold through the conflicts of the characters. The cast is uniformly excellent in fresh, non-traditional portrayals of characters that challenge the expectations of audience familiarity. The production values and storytelling are captured in perfect video & audio quality on the newly released Remastered 4K edition (2021). Highly recommended to anyone interested in experiencing an underrated classic in the best way possible!

This movie could have been better, but it stands up as a decent comic book flick. Everyone was worried about Ben Affleck portraying Bruce Wayne/Batman, but he ended up being the best part about the movie. You can feel how Zach Snyder wanted to make a stand alone Batman movie. You can feel this so much, that it makes it feels as if the movie could of been made without Superman and Wonder Woman. It was a great introduction for the Wonder Woman character. I think most comic book fans and action junkies will enjoy this, but this production studio just can't keep up with what Marvel Studios is doing with the Marvel Comic content.

My nephew bought this movie for himself for a good price

Forget the theatrical cut. The extended edition is the way to go.
