Great movie. New family favorite. Worth the buy. Love

I did get out to see this movie and although I am not as big of a fan of DC movies as I am of Marvel, this one was entertaining. I didn't find as much fault with it as the critics did and much of the movie was quite good. I really enjoyed the last Superman movie. It was quite good. I thought the movie did handle the power difference between Batman and Superman quite well and it was very believable for the most part. I think Wonder Woman will be a great addition to the next movie in the series. All in all I liked the movie well enough to buy it to watch over a few times at home.

There are plenty of reviews out there that call this a bad movie. Most of those are by fanboys who are upset that it does not follow any of the comic book story lines. That being said, this is a decent superhero action flic. There are the standard plot holes that are associated with any action film, but the production value and yes even the acting (was shocked by Aflleck's Batman) was incredibly well done. If you are looking for mindless city wide destruction, then this is your movie. If you are looking for a story line that follows the comics, then you are going to be let down.

The film is fantastic, but the fire effects in HDR look a bit weird, while they blend into the movie much better in the regular Blu-ray. Overall, the transfer is great, and you can't even tell that the film transitions from 2K scanned 35mm to 4K scanned 70mm. Something else to note, this version of the film only features the Ultimate Edition on 4K, and the Theatrical Cut on Blu-ray. If you're hoping for a regular Blu-ray copy, you'll have to get the DVD/BD combo-pack.

I enjoyed the movie. Decent action most of the way through. Good acting from Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Henry Cavill as Superman. Some great acting from the supporting actors to fill in the story and keep things moving. The downside to the movie being the Jesse Eisenberg Lex Luthor character. Almost like they tried to make him into the Joker with a whole slew of other story points that were never covered. I will not get into my opinion of Affleck as Batman but will leave it as I enjoyed Superman, Wonder Woman, Alfred and some of the other supporting characters!

Great Improvement over blu ray worth the investment

Ultimate edition is a much better presentation. Saw the original movie and upon leaving had the thought what the heck happened. Editor of the original needs to go back to cinema school. The longer movie fills in quiet a few gaps and sets up the sequel much better. Do not let the original movie dissuade you from buying the Blu ray ultimate edition. I really did not like the original movie, but the new edition is much better. Need to watch it a couple of times to appreciate this movie. They are setting this up for a Justice League movie in the future. Have fun viewing .

I find it amazing that comics that my dad saw for the first time in the 1930's, I saw in the 1960's and my kids saw in the Millennium on the big Screen would have held up as well as they have over the years. These stories an characters span decades and are timeless. In order to do this, the subject matter has to be solid and DC characters are certainly solid. The actors have to be the best and you need the tools to give he spectacle in a modern current format that doesn't stray too far from the source material. Zack Snyder told his story well. Jesse Eisenberg, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot were tremendous. But Ben Affleck was far and away the best Bruce Wayne we have ever seen (even though his politics skew too hard to the left). The extras were about what you'd expect. Bottom Line: You must own this Blu-ray.

Great movie and a great price. My family loves it.

This movie gets off to a really good start continuing from Man of Steel. Action scenes were more realistic and intense in the first half. However later it becomes a CGI fest that is something like Marvel comics. It would have been better to have just ended the movie after the battle between Superman and Batman, and then introduce Wonder Woman and Doomsday in Justice League. Justice League was a bad movie anyway so just add the bad parts of this movie into that one. Then this movie would have been better.

So first and foremost, the quality of the movie is fantastic, of course. Now as for the movie itself, it was a bit long and there was a lot going on in one movie. Batman and Alfred's intro, Wonder Woman's intro, Lex Luthor's intro, the new DC characters (upcoming) quick peek, Doomsday's epic finale appearance and all of that while still following along with Superman and Lois Lane and what they have been going through. A lot going on, but all in all, if you like DC and Marvel movies like myself, I think you'll thoroughly enjoy seeing these characters come to life.

Many don't like this movie, most don't seem to love it. Perhaps this is in part due to it being a darker superhero movie than most (not as dark as Watchmen, in my opinion). Many though, including myself, really like it. The extended Ultimate Edition of the film is better than the theatrical version in my opinion because it explains a bit more of what's going on and you see Clark being more proactive about learning about the Batman. Fans of these characters will always have opinions on these movies and many are quite passionate, which I understand. While it has its flaws, it's still decent and sets up the DCEU (though **POSSIBLE SPOILER** ..... the featuring of the Justice League characters feels shoe horned in and kinda lame). Still though, very entertaining and definitely worth checking out.

I've only seen the Ultimate Edition but it was not bad like everyone says about this movie. There's a lot of good stuff in this movie, but it really could have been rearranged and edited better. They really leave you hanging and confused quite a few times until clearing it up way too much later, to the point where you're just wondering if you missed something for a lot of the movie. Still, this movie did a better job tying in and covering a lot of things from the movie universe in a believable way. It did a much better job with that then Age of Ultron.

Three great heroes in one movie. Sounds great. Well.... yes, to an extent. Cavill does a decent job as Superman and Gal Gadot, for the few minutes she appears in the movie, seems fine for the part. Ben Affleck surprised me: when I heard he was chosen for the part, I thought he wouldn't do for it but he plays a darn good Bruce Wayne. The movie is ok as far as the story goes: the script jumbles too many separated Batman stories into one. Special effects are good. Lex Luthor behaved more like Joker's nephew than a "proper" Luthor. In the end, I enjoyed it.

I can understand why a lot of people were disappointed with Batman Vs Superman. Some of it is confusing and there is way too much content packed into one movie. Otherwise, I did enjoy it. While there are some unnecessary scenes (too much JLA exposition) the movie while dark, is entertaining. Ben Affleck makes a great batman, Wonder Woman makes a great intro (though underused), and I really do enjoy this new version of Superman. Yes, a little more "fun" and joy could be had with these DC characters but for what we have been given so far, I am enjoying it.
