In equal parts a fitting sequel to Man of Steel and intro to Justice League. I absolutely loved it! If you are a fan of Man of Steel, you will too.

I am in that minority that enjoyed Man of Steel but after I went to the theaters to see BvS I quickly was turned off by this franchise. It's not exactly a bad film but just one where you can see a studio trying to go from 0 to 100 without building any momentum. The film just felt like a rushed mess where they wanted to create a cinematic universe in a rush and not give the source material the time it needs to build a great basis for a connection to the audience. There are parts of this movie that are great but story wise it is a completely jumbled up mess. The highlight is Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) but Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor was not so much a miscasting but a fault more suited to bad writing and directing than acting. It's worth a viewing but like many who saw it you will either like or hate it but no one has said they loved it.

Based on the critic's reviews you would think this movie totally stunk. I think the extended version is what should have been released in theaters.

Daylight scenes are very clear and crisp, but night time scenes can seem a bit muddled, especially when digital effects are shown. Still very good presentation, highly recommended.
