This 4K transfer is beautiful especially the new IMAX scenes witch are crystal clear. Be warned the IMAX scenes are in 4:3 not 16:9 so you get black bars on the side which I like but you may not so just a fair warning. The movie itself is good for what it is and it’s a great movie to watch before Zack Snyder’s justice league. I would recommend it if you like the movie or just 4K crispy movies in general. The movie also has a Dolby atmosphere track that is mind blowing. #RestoreTheSnyderVerse

Of course I bought the original release of the movie, because it was amazing!!! I really like the way that they blended the story lines of The Dark Knight Returns, and the Death of Superman into the Dawn of Justice. The story has allot of great elements, such as the "darker" side of the Bat, overwhelming collateral damage, the extreme philosophical difference of the "Boy-scout" and the "Detective", and the fact that brains overcomes brawn in most cases. So for me, in my opinion, this is one of the realest super hero films made and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now that it is released in a Jim Lee inspired steelbook, it is highly recommended!!

I had not heard good things about this film, but the wife wanted to see it, so we picked it up. The 3D is well done, and the story is better than expected. It definitely had the feel as being part of something bigger- in fact there are moments that will probably only make sense after future movies come out. I do not believe this installment measures up to some of the latest Marvel releases, me it certainly won't win many awards, but for a superhero action film, I was entertained.

So, BvS was not the best movie of the Summer but being a comic book fan I really liked it. Any one who has seen the movie I think would agree that the story did not flow very well. This Ultimate edition includes alot of scene s that were cut and as a result the story makes more sense. As for the 4k version I did not see a big difference between it and the 1080P version. I gave this 4 stars because of that. If you like comic book movies I would say buy it, just not the 4k version.

This extended version of the film offers more input into Clark Kent's investigation of The Batman, and shows more of Lois Lane's quest to find out more about that bullet she found. There isn't anything extra as far as the Batman V Superman fight goes, but I actually enjoyed this version a little more than the regular one. However, if you want to compare them for yourself, then you're in luck. Because this set comes with both the Theatrical, and the Extended version of the film.

This movie was ripped by critics , by friends and negative comments was tagged all through various forums. BUT i said i dont care what any one says i still have to see this movie. Where talking Batman vs Superman . While the visual were good and different from marvels color palette.Dc looks like they perfer a darker look. I really enjoy this and it will sit right next to justice league on my shelf when it is released. Ture comic fans must support this.

Despite being an enormous DC comics fan, I was unable to find the time to see this in theatres. Perhaps it was due to never seeing the theatrical version, having had my expectations lowered due to underwhelming reviews or both, I must say I was pleased when I liked this movie. I agree with the general consensus that Ben Affleck's Batman was the best part of the movie, overall. Not that I won't admit that I'm excited to see Gal Gadot in her standalone Wonder Woman film now too.

This is a really nice hard back comic book and latest movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate. But what would have made this an even better package if it actually included the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Cartoon Movie from the 1990's, I can not see why it was not included in this $$$ package. I would not recommend this to a friend unless they are a diehard fan. Otherwise they should save some money and get one of the other special collector boxed version.

I was a little unsure about Ben Afleck being able to pull off the Batman role so I had started clear of the movie until recently. I was happily mistaken though and it ended up being a pretty good movie with some good action scenes and character development.. the problem that my husband and I both had with the film though was they seemed to pack way too much into the time frame allotted so we were left wondering about some plot holes and some lack of character development.

As a comic book reader I will say that no comic movie adaption will ever be dead on to the source material. There is only so much a movie director can put in 120-180 mins. Granted Zack Snyder isn't my cup of tea but he did do a decent job at this , the "Martha" scene did make me raise my glasses but other scenes and the set up for the justice league were good. It's not a phenomenal movie but is definitely a good start in the right direction considering that Marvel has been doing this longer with a wide range of character whereas DC tends to do only focus on Batman. Overall if you want to be entertained and don't mind what critics say, BvS is a good place to start.

Why is is Hollywood thinks it can just mix-up anything & everything they want and expect us to take it? First, Ben WAS a good Batman. But was Batman THAT old when Superman showed up? Not by a long shot. Lex Luther - was that HIM or his son? If you're the type that doesn't care about stories that have been written since the 1940's and accept any mishmash as cannon, enjoy. It certainly messes up any conversation from one generation to another, though. Good movie, dumb premise.

For DC this was a pretty good one. I am not a fan of Batman, was original watcher of Christopher Reeves as Superman growing up. (Yes, I just gave off my age) lol. After watching Justice League I had to go back and see what happened to Batman and Superman's relationship so I bought this one. The DC story line now makes sense to me now.

Good action movie. I had to see it a few times before I really started liking it. Not as good as Wonder Woman but pretty solid

I love this movie, others do not. I'll focus on the special packaging and how it could affect OCD collector types. I was curious by the claim of reversible steelbook and it turned out to be what I thought, a 2-sided one you can flip. But if you want Superman on your cover (thankfully I like the Batman art better), you then have the spine upside down and discs in weird places when you open the case. It was also surprising to see so few (I recall 5 Batman and 12 Superman when I went at opening) for such a huge title that was well promoted. Glad I got one, glad I like the Batman cover best. I represent those OCD collector types, and this could've been irking. :)

As someone who is a lifelong DC Comic fan, I saw this twice in theaters, and let me tell you; even I had a hard time understanding what the heck was going on! The "Ultimate Edition" director's cut of BvS is about a million times better!! Why. Why, I ask you WB. Why wasn't this version the one in theaters. Everything from character development and depth to pacing and plot cohesiveness is seriously 1000% better. Yes, it's 3 hours long now, but the end result is such a better experience over the original that I didn't even notice how much time had passed. If you're going to take the time to see this, spend the extra 30 minutes and watch it right.

Decent movie. Intro of Wonder Woman is really cool. Batman's bulky armour was pretty lame, but that's what you have to do when you cast a fatty Ben Affleck as the new Caped Crusader. Henry C. is a good Superman. I'm not some comics super-nerd, so I don't have decades of DC canon to reference. I've always been a fan of Batman, so this is good, but it's no "The Dark Knight"

I owned this movie on bluray originally simply because I didn't have a 4k player at the time and the bluray that comes with the 4k version is theatrical cut only. 4K video quality is better than bluray for sure, just wish this edition had the Ultimate Edition Cut on bluray so I wouldn't of had to double dip on the purchase. Ultimate Cut is leaps and bounds better than what we saw in theaters and is what we should of gotten in the first place.

It's an ok movie but should of been a lot better. The name of the movie implies a huge fight but only lasts about 10 minutes of the 3 hour run time. The conclusion to the fight is also pretty meh. I did really like Afflecks Batman. He is far darker than most of the other film adaptions of the character and a fair bit older as well. Henry Cavill makes for a good Superman. So if you like both the characters and the actors playing them it's a worthwhile purchase.

I had heard differing reviews of this movie prior to making my purchase. I usually take published movie reviews with a "grain of salt", since they are usually looking for something different, than myself, which is entertainment. While there were several story lines being developed at one time, I found that if you payed close attention, the sometimes disjointed segments made sense. Overall, it was more entertaining than I had expected, thus the Review summary title.

In my opinion, the movie is not as bad as critics & fans made it out to be. It is a good movie & do recommend a purchase. At first I was excited about the steelbook release as I am a sucker for steelbook editions of movies. After buying it & seeing it in person, it really was nothing special. I don't like that superman was on the other side upside down, it kind of throws off the aesthetic. Overall. I do recommend the movie, but the steelbook is not a must have.
