I thoroughly enjoyed this film. I bought the Blu Ray/ DVD/ Digital HD so I could enjoy the digital download with my Vudu account. The SteelBook packaging was an added bonus! The pairing of Batman and Superman along with Wonder Woman made this film a must see. Owning it in 3 different forms was a much welcome bonus. The picture clarity was top notch on our 65'' 4K Smart TV. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys multiple conflicts within the film because there are several scenes with Batman and Superman fighting it out along with Wonder Woman. It's non-stop action!!

I saw this movie twice and wanted to include it in my collection. There is great action and I can see from this movie that a motion picture will be pertaining to the Justice league. The fight scene between Batman and Superman was good. The acting was good to me. I always like movies with comic book heroes and villains. If you can get a good deal on this movie and you are into such action pictures, add it to your collection.

4 star review is an average of the film itself which was good but not great and there are plenty of reviews out there so I won't add mine other than to say I actually enjoyed the special features more than the movie, well done. The disc itself tho is worth getting. Both versions of the film, tons of extra features, PQ and AQ of the UHD and BD are phenomenal and the inclusion of the full UHD streaming version (vudu) a huge plus.

I watched the theatrical version twice in theaters and while I didn't hate the film, it definitely wasn't one I recommended to friends. To be clear I'm a DC fan. I grew up watching DC cartoons and read DC comics. Batman is my fave hero of all time. Needless to say I left the theater both times, feeling like something was missing. When I heard the extended version was announced, I pre-ordered a copy and honestly it was the best decision. The extra 30 mins does wonders for the film. If you hated BvS or was on the fence like I was, please watch this movie. You're doing a disservice to yourself by missing out.

This was a very entertaining movie. I don't understand all of the negative reviews this movie got. Some people like Marvel, others like DC. I was not sure about Ben Affleck playing Batman, however, I think he did a really good job. I gave this movie 4 out of 5 stars because I felt that some things in it could have been better. My advice would be to maybe rent it first, just in case your tastes are more overly critical than my own.

I had heard what garbage Batman v Superman was from friends that saw it in the theater, but for some reason when I saw it on sale I decided to pick it up. After watching it I didn't think it was that bad, but then I realized I had watched the extended cut which apparently makes WAY more sense telling the story. If it is on sale it is worth picking up, specially since you get a digital download with it (Ultraviolet not iTunes)

I had high hopes for this movie, but something was missing. I couldn't really get into the story. I am interested in seeing where the follow-up movies go but it seemed like there were too many story-lines crammed together at one time to keep me engaged. As with most Marvel movies of late, the special affects were great! Overall, the movie is worth a watch...but not really worth buying unless you can get a decent discount.

I'm not a huge fan of superhero movies to begin with, and this one fell along the "meh" range of the interest scale for me. Call me crazy, but the whole plot seemed mostly pointless. Also, I wasn't very fond of the changes made to the batman character as compared to the Dark Knight series. If you like action and superheroes, I'm sure you would love this movie, but the genre has grown pretty stale for me over the last year or two.

The story actually made sense why these two would end up fighting. How they stopped fighting made sense, but could have been handled better. Overall a good movie for those who like super hero genre. I haven't seen the theatrical version, but I wonder what they could take out and still maintain the stories strength. Batfleck was pretty decent too. I was expecting less, but heck, Green Latern was Ok in my book too... Worth a watch.

Iked the film a lot ! Get this extended version and like it even more ! Affleck as Batman is superb ! Looks like our latest icons of supes and wonder woman are standing on their own as well. Think DC needs to follow their own way and stop trying to catch up with Marvel and they'll be just fine. looking forward to the next installments a few years ago, could care less about what DC was doing. Now ? Im interested... Watch it form your own opinion. Well done DC. Next time, let the director have more control so we can see film the way it's supposed to be on the big screen. Highly recommended

I would recommend the Ultimate Edition over the Standard Release movie. I thin the extra 30 minutes helped flesh out some of the plot lines. The one thing I think holds back the movie is Jesse Isenberg's Lex Luthor. I think he just tried to channel his inner Heath Ledger, and tried to make Luthor like the Joker. Throwing Wonder Woman into the mix was a nice touch along with teases of other heroes for the Justice League movie.

This is probably the most divided film in recent memory. While it is filled with flaws, it’s still an entertaining movie and it is made better with the Ultimate Edition because it does fill plot holes. Ben Affleck is the shining star in this film as he’s the darkest Batman yet. Plus his physical transformation quite impressive. This film also includes the greatest Batman fight scene to ever be filmed.

The movie IS long...remember that...but, it fills in some gaps that could've helped the theatrical release. At times....SvB is still TOO dark in tone AND story...and Wonder Woman, although nicely done, seems a waste to add...but the story is far improved by the extended "R" rated version. Best Buy had a really good competitve price and, with my bonuses, made the purchase so much more worth it and enjoyable...even the length!

DC should have merged their characters into a Film Universe years ago, but it is nice to see that they are trying. Affleck's Batman pales against Gadot's Wonder Woman and Cavell's Superman, but adding this to the stand-alone Superman and Wonder Woman films creates a decent foundation on which to build and grow the Justice League franchise and future stand-alone characters like The Flash and Aquaman.

Not Perfect, but Way Better than Man of Steel

Despite the mixed reviews, I bought this movie without seeing it in theaters and sat down to watch it with low expectations. I chose to go straight to the director's cut with 30 minutes of extra footage and I must say I was pleasantly surprised as I thought it was way better than Man of Steel. The pace early on was a little slow but it all serves to set up why there is such conflict between Batman and Superman. When the showdown finally comes in the second half, things really pick up and the action does not disappoint. Overall, way better than I was expecting based on the theatrical reviews.

I thought this movie was great regardless of all the bad reviews. All of my comic book friends think I'm crazy because I liked the new Superman movie and this one as well. I love Zak Snyder's style of directing. I get sick of the other Superhero flics that are always trying to be comedies and family friendly. It's good to see a darker version of the comic world every now and then that's not always lollipops and candy canes.

Ultimate vs. Theatrical Cut: Dawn Of A Better Film

I'll be the first to admit that Batman vs. Superman wasn't the greatest superhero film after seeing it in the theaters. But with all the writing, editing, and pacing issues, and some odd casting choices (Lex Luthor I'm looking at you) I still enjoyed it. BvS: Ultimate Edition is a much better film than what we got in the theaters. Yes the original version was pretty long, and this only adds more to the runtime, but overall the film flows a lot better and seems a whole lot less disjointed. It's nice that they include the theatrical cut on the disc as well, but the Ultimate Cut is the way to go.

This movie did not get good reviews in the theaters but I enjoyed it. I thought it was decent but you probably have to be a comic book movie fan to get the most enjoyment from it. CGI in the final fight scene was a little fake looking though. Note that the extended version of the movie is only on the 4k disk. The blu-ray is the standard theatrical version which was not as good in my opinion.

Great packaging. Steelbook worth it but the reversibility not that cool. It was a unique concept but if you choose to use the back as the front the spine will be flipped (should've had something that was reversible as well or nothing at all). As for the movie: It got slammed by the critics so I went into it with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I found it entertaining but not exceptional as all had hoped for.
