This is a fun movie to watch and a step up from Man of Steel. I like that contemporary blockbusters take their time with character and story development and thus are longer than perhaps a historical average for movies, though this one can drag in parts. Still, a step in the right direction for the DC Comics world as they clearly continue to try to catch up to the precedent set by Marvel/Disney.

Was not a big fan of this movie, I don't really care for batman, but like wonder woman and superman.

Better movie than people give it credit since many probably didnt follow certain comic story lines from years past. Its over ambitious....YES. Actually, it may have had too many plot lines for 1 movie and I can see where the casual super hereo movie goer may say it is so dark and gloomy. Even though I was skeptical on many counts like Aflleck as Batman, I actually enjoyed this for what it was.

If you are a fan of man of steel, you will like this follow up film. It moves a little fast and they packed a lot in - it felt like it should have been a couple of movies, at the least. But they make it work well for the most part. Looking forward to the next movies for sure. We watched the ultimate edition without having seen the theatrical version first, and maybe that made the difference for us.

This story is somewhat pretty grim. Ben Afleck's batman has some lighter elements in the story. Gal Gadot's wonderwoman does bring good dynamic. The blu ray quality is good with the typical extras. Not sure what is up with the ultra violent digital option. There is not a way to get an iTunes code and lately they are pushing the Flixster option. I usually prefer more options for the digital code.

There's a lot of less than stellar content in this movie. However, there also a lot of excellent work done in special effects, I personally like the aging Batman even if his argument against Superman seemed contrived and it has some (unfortunately) very short introductory scenes with a pretty decent Wonder Woman character. That last would have made the purchase worth it.

I love d this film! It strains credulity a bit to think that Superman couldn’t come up with an easy solution for quickly defeating Batman, but I guess that they had to keep the cameras rolling. Nevertheless, when WW comes on the scene, the die is cast for non stop action, and the film delivers big time! Looking forward to more Wonder Woman involvement in future DC ventures.

I heard mostly disappointed reviews. But with the additional minutes, could not figure out why. Affleck was not a disappointment as the Dark Knight and I felt engrossed with the Human conflict between our Heros as they try to do the Right thing, while not till later, understand their own failings. But all is set straight as they join forces to battle a common foe. I will watch it again, gladly!

This one started off rather hokey and gimmicky, but as it got into the personalities and demons of both Superman and Batman, it got way more interesting. Wonder Woman seemed like an add on, and while I remember how her arm bands stopped bullets in the TV show, they seemed a little too fantastical in this movie. Amy Adams is a knockout, and the Superman/Lois component always seems to satisfy.

I missed the theatrical run od this and picked this up when available on blu-ray. The video presentation is sharp and crisp. Sound-wise was spectacular and great work out for home theater system. Ben played by Batman was better than expected and Gal Gabot stole the show. If you haven't seen it watch the theatrical edition first and watch the special edition as it will provide much more depth.

The extended cut features extra scenes that flesh out some of the story lines from the theatrical version and does feel a bit more complete. Either way, it is pretty long. There are some added bits of violence throughout the movie as well. The 3D version looks very good, but it's only the theatrical. The soundtrack is very active with some nice bass moments. A very nice home theater package.

I thought this was a good start to the new universe DC is trying to build, similar to what Marvel has. My only complaint was that the first hour and 20 mins kinda dragged..not much action or anything big happening and for a comic book/superhero movie, that's a problem. While I am all for story building, they should have injected some excitement to the first act to keep viewers interested.

I approached this movie with healthy skepticism given reviews from the internet. I chose to buy the 3D version in hopes that it would make it more enjoyable and it delivered on the experience. Visually stunning and very immersive just as you would expect from a 3D experience. The movie it was okay, but being a fan of DC Comics, this was a splurge for me and I would probably buy it again.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice was definitely worth the hype! Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman), and Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman) make up the best super hero trio going! The action might be lacking compared to the MCU, but the story is there. The DC Universe is setting itself up for many great free standing movies, as well as the long awaited Justice League movie. If you were on the edge about Dawn of Justice, check it out and be prepared to be on board! The Steelbook packaging was awesome too!

The theatrical cut is kind of a mess. This extended edition isn't. A truly unique and daring vision for the DCEU-- this movie has its fair share of detractors, but give it a chance before jumping on the bandwagon-- you might find there's more here to unpack than you expected. Also, this is a brilliant looking 4K disc. Lovely image quality and sound fidelity.

I know many people are upset with this movie, but I really like it. It does have some issues in the story/plot department, but the action and visuals kept me more than entertained. There are plenty of interesting bonus features to keep nerds like myself satisfied. The extra 30 minutes of the Ultimate Edition do actually flesh some of the plot issues out, although Lex is still annoying.

Let me start by saying if you are not a fan of this movie, then the extended edition will definitely change your mind. This ultimate edition is a far more cohesive and complete movie compare to the theatrical release, which is still good in my opinion, that was not too well received by the movie-going public who was expecting way more than they should have. However, this is still a great movie in its own right and I can't wait to see it in 3D. It's no Marvel's Captain America: Civil War but it's still great to me and is even better extended.

I left the theater a bit disappointed after watching this movie. But I have to say that it has gotten a little better after each additional viewing. The extended edition fills in some blanks and adds a little more motive to the plot. Only real draw back for me personally is the poor representation of the villain Doomsday. Wish they made him look more like the comic book version.

I waited along with countless others for this film to hit the theaters, and like many was seriously disappointed. I was one and done with the film until a friend told me that the ultimate version was much better and filled a lot of the gaps. He has offered good film advice before so I took the chance and bought it. This is the version that should've been shown. Great movie.

I can never be a movie reviewer because I can't sit and nitpick over every little thing. Thus batman v superman actually surprised me as did suicide squad. The bluray I have only skimmed through right now but impressed with extras and screen and sound looks good. Maybe in the future they can discuss original plans and what happened so fans really know what happens behind the scenes.
