Fun, but could be better. . .

The film was fun! Affleck did a decent job as Bruce Wayne/Batman - while Henry Cavill/Superman continues in the vein of his "Man of Steel" debut. Film could have been better overall. The appearance of Gal Gadot/Wonder Woman in full Amazon battle gear comes far too late into the film. Definitely looking forward to the Wonder Woman stand alone feature in 2017.

    OUTSTANDING MOVIE

The solemn, grandiose atmosphere is severely disrupted by Luthor, portrayed by Eisenberg as a privileged tech guru who makes the actor's take on Mark Zuckerberg look like the epitome of style and manners. Loaded with vocal tics and gushing with smarmy ripostes and threats, the character is loathsome without an ounce of insidious charm; if the legacy of the studio's Dark Knight films might have suggested anything, it should have been in the area of great villains, but here there is just a great vacuum.

While BvS Dawn of Justice may not be the best movie the world has ever seen, this bundle actually packs a lot of value, especially if you get it on sale. It comes with the main title, hours of bonus features, and an R-rated extended cut. A must-own for hardcore DC fans and a value-packed collection for those interested.

Good followup to Man of Steel. This movie picks up where that movie ended. We are introduced to Wonder Woman and there are glimpses of the other members of the Justice League that come in later movies. Of course, we are also introduced to Superman's nemesis. A little long, but a good movie.

After reading the reviews of this movie after it was released, I decided to wait for it to be released on DVD. It wasn't what I was expecting and was glad to watch it at home. I was happy to see the introduction of Wonder Woman's character. I was slightly disappointed with this movie, but am glad it made it to the big screen. I grew up with the Super Heros.

    An unexpected superhero movie

Batman vs Superman was an entertaining dark psychological drama infused with action. I would not recommend this for children as they cannot quite fathom why two superheroes would be against each other (and I couldn't either). My grandsons were bored, but I enjoyed the antics of the two muscle-bound heroes and a too slender but quite beautiful Wonder Woman.

Coming into this after reading multiple reviews, did not have too high hopes for this movie. Watching the Ultimate Edition of this movie, however, made me glad I bought it. Not sure if it was the theatrical version, or just people with different opinions about the movie, but this version of the movie is the version that should be been released in theaters

Great movie/set up for Justice League

Despite all the on line b@tching about Ben Affleck being the new Batman, he actually puts in a great performance. There's also been complaints that the DC canon hasn't been as good on screen as Marvel. I'd put this up against any of the recent Marvel films....it's that good. Plus any film with Amy Adams and Diane Lane is worth the price of admission or a purchase for their always great performances and beautiful looks to boot. This is a great set up for the " Justice League " film coming in 2017...

    1. Great but. Enjoyed the movie. 2. DC comics just aren't as good as Marvel but that due to direction from corporate. 3. Never saw it in theaters so I can't tell you what's different with the extended but the movie is disjointed at times. Character actors are great though. 4. Lex wasn't as bad of a character as stated but his line were underdeveloped.

Giving this a review based on the steelbook itself, not the movie. Everyone has their own opinion about the movie, if you didn’t like it, you’re likely not buying the steelbook. The steelbook however is excellent quality, the artwork is amazing, it looks great with the other steelbooks in this series. My favorite part is the black and white variant on the back of it. I wish Marvel would step up their steelbook game and do them like these. A+ DC/Warner!

I am a huge fan of the wave of comic book movies and although this movie got a bad rep by the critics, I found it's darker and edgier production very enjoyable. If you are not too critical of comic books and their translated depictions in movies and want a break from the family-friendly, comical marvel series, I believe you may find this movie enjoyable.

While not the same caliber of comic book movie as Marvel, Batman v Superman is still great fun. Although both theatrical and extended versions are included in this BluRay there is no reason to ever watch the theatrical again. The extended is a superior movie compared to the theatrical. Highly suggested if not for the fun then for the visual effects alone.

Full discretion this was my first viewing and I haven't seen it in theatres prior. This blu-ray is packed with special features of extras which I appreciated. As for the movie it had its moments and I was entertained. Also I am a fan of both Marvel and DC universes. And in this universe, you could see both point of views of Batman and Superman. It's not your typical good vs evil superhero movie and with DC's direction, I can't wait for their universe to expand with Wonder Woman and Justice League.

i'm basing this review solely on the movie itself, and it was better than I thought it would be. Wonder Woman was a very nice surprise. Also, the best part of the movie is what I thought was going to be its downfall, Ben Affleck. He was actually amazing as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Only down side was the length of movie. could have trimmed maybe 20 minutes

One of my favorite directors getting his actual vision in the IMAX ratio realized. And yes, the black bars on the side are supposed to be there. The image is taller than the size of your tv so in order to fit they have to shrink it and that causes the black bars. Your not getting anything cut off! You’re getting more image!

Bought a new 65" 4K OLED TV, Onkyo 7.2 Receiver and 4K Player…so I needed a Movie to test it out!!! (Spoiler Alert) After watching this Movie in the Theatre…I thought the first scene where all the explosions and Buildings were crashing down would be a good test!!! Loved that part and the finaly…but not the middle so much!!! Still worth buying tho!!!

Well, this movie started the Death of Superman theme that is still going on in some comic verse. The action is awesome in this movie. The extended version is quite long beyond what the long original version was. I prefer the original version as is. The extended version just add more background noise as I called it.

I'm not sure why this got a bad rap............I thought the 3 main Characters were great...........I was especially impressed with Affleck............I think most people had unrealistically high expectations for this..........My only complaint was that it was too long, though it did fly by pretty quickly......I was never bored............Recommended!!!

This movie has been in debate for a long time since it star 2 of the most revered character in pop culture it's understandable there was expectation to how the film should have but I admire it for having the courage to be different but familiar to the comics like the old Eleworlds comics from the past and took a lot of heat for it but has long time comic book reader they are trying to make an dc universe fuse part from the dark knight returns games and how the dc universe was in comics in the 90
