So when I first saw B vs S in the theater I thought it was just an OK movie. After seeing the extended cut I really enjoyed it more. Since I just got a 4k TV and wanted to watch some 4k Blurays I couldn't pass this up for the sale price at the time of 9.99. The picture quality on this disk looks great and I enjoyed the movie even more the 3rd time.

Batman v Superman was one of my first 4K disc purchases, but this newer edition is superior. The colors not only look better, but the frame ratio of the IMAX scenes have been fully restored and are truly a sight to behold. The movie isn't perfect even in this extended version, but fans will love this edition

Batman Vs. Superman Vs. Critics Vs. Comics

I thought it was a good movie not great but good, certainly not as bad as most critics made it out to be and this reason I thought it was good is because I didn't watch it expecting it to be based off of any comic book, It was worth watching and i'm glad I didn't really listen to the critics or the people that thought it should be based on the comics

MARTHA! A tear in my eye! Superman and Batman and spoiler WW start to form the JL which the suits at Warner Brothers tried to promptly kill by hiring hack Joss Whedon for some lame Marvel humor. Get this improved 4K release of the Ultimate Cut and then go watch Synder’s infinitely superior JL on HBO Max. And preorder the 4K when Warner announces the disc.

Review is for Steel Book Packaging

I really liked the movie but this is not the time for film reviews. As stated, this is a review for the product packaging. The steelbook blu rays are something that I really like collecting. Naturally, when I saw that this movie was getting a steelbook I jumped at the chance to buy it. It has a very nice design. The reversible Batman/Superman is a very cool idea. You can display whichever hero you like. I, myself am more privy to Batman. All in all, it's a very cool steelbook design.

A lot of people didn't particularly care for this movie saying it was boring or too confusing. I am slightly aware of some of the alternate storylines,so my initial confusion was cleared quickly. I enjoyed this movie because I had low expectations going in. Give it a chance and I think you'll enjoy it. It's no "Man of Steel" but it is worth watching.

This movie had a lot of so called holes in it on the theatrical release but now with the Extended version all those scenes that seemed to be missing something now make sense. Great movie, I am a huge Batman and Superman fan, but all in all the movie title should have been something else other than Batman vs Superman, but this was a great flick.

    Decent Superhero Movie

This was a decent superhero film but nowhere near as good as Christopher Nolan's Batman films or even the Man of Steel movie. The theatrical version had parts that didn't make much sense and the extended version only clarified some of them a bit. Wasn't a big fan of Batman in this movie, not necessarily because of Ben Affleck, just the way the character was written. I thought Batman's sense of justice and morality was a bit hypocritical. He wanted Superman stopped because he was too powerful and dangerous, yet at the same time he was going around branding criminals with his bat symbol. I thought the scene where Batman and Superman finally fight each other was very poorly written and not well thought out. Ultimately, their beef with each other was pretty pathetic and didn't really deserve a movie. The best part of the movie is Wonder Woman. She is epic and made the movie worth watching at least once. She is the only reason I would recommend this movie to someone.

No doubt, BvS is a dark movie. The characterizations aren't necessarily strictly in line with the comics or previous films but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. The movie drags a bit from time to time and it isn't the most coherent but if you're willing to bear with the changes and just take the movie on its own merits, I think you'll enjoy it.

This isn't the best movie ever, but it definitely isn't the worst. This movie's main redeeming quality is that it has some amazing moments and the cinematography is really good. The pacing feela off, the plot has some overly convenient solutions, and let's face it, it was never going to live up to the hype. Overall though it is enjoyable to watch.

Unlike many others, I loved bvs and the extended cut fixes almost all the issues I had with the film (even though I thoroughly enjoyed it). Just keep in mind that the extended version is only on the 4k disc. I am going to be acquiring a 4k player in the near future and so I bought this with this in mind and used the digital copy to watch extended.

This is one movie I could say I was waiting for, a long time in fact. Seeing this movie made me smile from ear to ear by the mere appearance of Batman and Superman on the same screen. Ben Affleck is one of, if not, the best actor portrayal of the caped crusader, not only just by looking the part, but by bringing to life the best version of Frank Miller's Batman from The Dark Knight Returns.

    DC Is Getting There

Batman. Superman. Wonder Woman. The true core of the DC Universe. Marvel may have theirs and nothing against them but, when you think of superheroes, the above come to mind first. Ben Affleck is surprisingly good as Batman, the sky did not fall as others were fearing. The DC Universe is different from the Marvel Universe, this is a good thing.

I know a lot of people didn't like the movie, but I loved it. I think to many people try to compare DC with Marvel and you can't. The movie did have some flaws but to me the extended version clear that up. Overall batman v superman isn't the greatest movie but it's very entertaining and will have you looking forward to the rest of the DC universe.

I was not overly impressed with this movie, but Wonder Woman definitely makes it worthwhile. She is far & beyond the best part of the movie. Jesse Eisenberg does a pretty good job of being Lex Luthor as well, just enough to make you hate him in the movie ;-)

In this follow up to Man of Steel we get introduced to a new batman. Despite popular belief Ben Affleck shines as Batman/Bruce Wayne. The rest of the cast isn't so stellar though. Jesse eisenberg doesn't fit as the character of Lex Luthor. He sticks out like a sore thumb. Also superman only has 11 lines in the whole movie and he's one of the main characters. The plot may feel rushed at times but pulls together near the end with the long awaited introduction of Wonder Woman and Doomsday.

    Decent action, but flawed story

I had higher expectations for this film, but sadly it came up a bit short. There are numerous plot holes, and while some might be explained through deep knowledge of the source material, for casual fans it leaves a bad sense of plausibility. The pinnacle of the movie hinges on a rather ridiculous coincidence of names (I'll leave it at that to avoid spoilers). Honestly, for a comic book movie, it has the tone of a grim funeral march throughout the entire film. Both Batman and Superman seem to be battling out who can mope and frown the most through the story. It's like two super-powered Emo kids having a pessimism contest. I can respect Eisenberg's attempt at Lex Luthor, but it's much to cartoony and over the top, lacking the deeper level of intelligence (even if only on a subtle level) that someone in his position would have. Overall, a decent popcorn flick, but don't expect the brilliance and depth that Nolan brought to the Batman franchise in his trilogy.

I know there were mixed reviews when the movie first came out. I still liked it a lot even though I could see why people didn't. However the R-Rated version is much better. Smoother transitions between the 3 main story lines (Bats, Supes, and Lex), and more explanations. Highly recommended. Just hope Suicide Squad has an R-Rated version as well.

Since this is the 3D version, I'll start to say this aspect of the movie is fine. The depth of the scenes is nice but there are no real "WOW" moments. If you are on the fence about 3D, then you may want to get the non-3D version. Also the 3D is only the theatrical cut, in which the new ultimate cut is better and fleshes out the story much more.

    Strange Movie

My whole family sat down to watch this movie. Although entertaining, it had a very strange quality to it. If you are a die hard super hero movie buff, I would say you should see it. If not, don't. Not a date night movie or a movie for small children. I did like many aspects of it but still came away with the feeling that it was a strange movie.
