I know this film did not get heaped with praise but I enjoyed it. I never saw the theatrical cut but having the extended cut I hear is the way to experience. Great picture quality - intentionally gritty Audio is good Special features are robust and interesting Looking forward to Suicide Squad. Continued love for the steelbook!

The 4k ultra version ultimate edition is a much better rounded story than the theatrical version. This is the version we should have been shown in theatres. It helps answer so many questions about the story except the one nagging one towards the end that I wont mention ;) Picture on this 4k ultra movie are really good on my ks8000.

DC has seemed to always struggle when going head to head against Marvel. I was skeptical of Ben Affleck casting of Batman, but after watching twice, I do think he pulls it off unexpectedly well. It seems that he has brought in some of the dark times from his personal life into this role. So overall worth adding to you movie collection...

I didn't get a chance to watch this in the theaters and the initial reviews didn't help motivate me. Surprised to see that the Ultimate Version is Rated R (theater version was PG-13) and apparently the added scenes improved the overall viewing experience according to those who watched both versions. I found the Ultimate Version enjoyable

My husband and I liked it and are trying to figure out why it didn't get better reviews. I guess there are too many Batman movies out already each having their own version of how bruce Wayne should be and his back story, this one was deff. different on that aspect. Other than that it was a good movie esp. in 3D on a projector w/ SS. :-)

A lot of people hate this movie, but I really enjoyed it. The dark, disturbed Batman is a good take and the Batmobile/Batwing concepts are the best ones I think have ever appeared in any of the Batman movies. The fight between Batman and Superman ends almost as you would expect since Batman has no powers, and the special effects on Doomsday could be a lot better, but I think the dark feel is good and the movie should get more credit.

Extended cut is the only way you should watch this

Normally I don't find the extended cut of a movie to add much at all, but the extended cut in this movie makes the story flow 10x better and the story makes far more sense. Scenes flow together a lot more smoothly. If you've never seen this movie, please don't watch the theatrical version and only watch the Extended Cut.

I had read many reviews and heard many friends going back and forth on this movie. Truth is, I thought the extended edition was great. Ben Affleck made a convincing Batman. There were doubters for sure, I was one of them. Superman was great, but I like this Superman. Wonder Woman stole the show. She was phenomenal. Lex was really the only confusing part to me. I love Jesse Eisenburg, but I felt his Lex was a little too Arkham Asylum. He was good, just not how I picture Lex.

I thought this was a pretty good movie. I saw it in the theater first before purchasing the Blu Ray. It felt consistent with the Man of Steel. There was a lot of story packed into the film, some of which I think could have been explored further. Like all big action movies now, this one sets you up for the various sequels and spin offs.

I didn't have great expectations for this movie but I was pleasantly surprised with it. I purchased it primarily for my daughter and grandchildren's pleasure but I was impressed with the action and the plot. The special effects and cinematography were also very special. I have not watched the 3D version yet but I expect to be pleased.

CG is stunning. But the problem is that is not the reason to watch the movie. Stories are not well intervened. So somehow it gets boring when the movie goes to the end. Expecting better stories in the sequel. Otherwise, I am not sure I would buy the next DC comics hero movies. I give recommended just because of good CG and actions.

Overall I had my own personal qualms with the movie, but I enjoyed it. Ben Affleck as Batman was definitely the best part of the entire movie. Wonder Woman was pretty great too! I would say that if you're going to watch it, even though it's longer, watch the extended cut, not the theatrical release! It makes a HUGE difference!

I really liked Man of Steel and was really looking forward to BvS until the reviews came out. I still went anyway and thought it was better than the critics made it out to be. Now getting to see the Ultimate Edition of it and I really like it. Wish they had released this version in the theaters. 3 hours is a long stretch but worth it

A lot of people/critics were hard on this movie. I can only understand that to a certain degree. As a longtime fan of Superman, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie-they took some liberties and changed up some things which wasn't necessarily a bad thing, it just made it different. I'm curious to see where they take it with Justice League.

Aflec did pretty good. Not a fan of his but I was pleasantly surprised with his Batman. Not as good as Christian Bale but better than the rest by a long shot. The movie was long and it felt that way. Introduced new characters so it will be interesting to see how they spin after Wonder Woman. Still have a crush on Linda Carter though!

Same review from regular Blu Ray edition, just this time with a 4K resolution. AMAZING!!!! picture quality, and film is still awesome after 5 viewings now. This was a good film at the theater, but the Ultimate Edition tells sooooo much more to help understand some of the main points of film. Henry rocks as Superman once again, and Affleck brings a believable older Batman.....

I was a fan of the movie in the theaters and I am a bigger fan of the ultimate edition. Like so many, I myself did feel slightly confused at the version shown in the theater because quite a few things didn't make sense and some of the story was just a bit confusing. I'm glad to say that the Ultimate Edition clarifies most of the confusion and is a much better story to tell. Looking forward to Justice League now and looking forward to what other DC Projects are to come.

Batman/Superman might be the most polarizing film in the DC Universe. Tough to love and tough to hate. Affleck is great as Batman, Cavill is good but I wish they wouldn’t make him so morose all the time. Of course Gal Gadot is a standout as Wonder Woman. The 4K looks great and if you don’t own it the upgrade is nice.

My only two complaints about this movie: 1) The tremendous amount of backstory given to Batman and Superman... we know their stories. Everyone knows who these guys are. Come on. 2/3 of the movie feels like backstory. 2) Lex Luther is a dingus. Nah. Other than those complaints I thought the movie was great.
