Many people simply did not get this movie. This 3 hour extended version is a grand opus of the DC Universe covering so many major (Doomsday) and subtle issues. Whoever wrote this knew the DC Universe inside and out. The 3 hours of extras was worth the price alone! I was so intrigued by this story I went out and purchased the very famous Superman Doomsday Omnibus, more than a 1,000 pages of joy! This Blu-Ray is one of my favorite action hero movies of all time.

Batman v Superman is hard to review I think. It wasn't as bad as the pros reviewed it, in my opinion, but it still wasn't top quality by any means. BvS does a poor job of explaining things at times. There are a number of scenes where I was confused as to what was going on, and I wasn't the only one, because I later saw an article addressing every scene I was confused about. They made too much of an assumption that everyone knows all of the comics. The casting of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor also doesn't fit at all. BvS is an entertaining action flick but lacks any depth and character development. DC just can't hang with Marvel's universe. If DC doesn't start improving the quality of their films, Justice League could be the biggest flop in history. I still recommend watching BvS if you're interested in keeping up with the DC Extended Universe. If you skip it nothing will make any sense going forward.

Well , the two opposing camps for super hero domination were finally treated to the mega battle of the Giants . Battles are epic in size and destruction. Who will win ? Batman fans and Superman fans come to the new Super Bowl. Welcome Wonder Woman lovers. This will also generate a spinoff fir her as well. Tons of action and effects will delight , although it had a slow start. Although I loved the movie , it didn't have that old super hero classic feel to it.

Not as good as I was expecting, but it's still worth watching.

The movie is great and is has great action scenes. I felt that the story tried to include too much from other character like back stories but also adding hints of things to come in the future. I have not checked out the 4K version of the movie yet but i can say the Blu-ray version looks great. If you are looking to get into 4K soon i would suggested picking this bundle movies instead of buying the Blu-ray version first and then picking up the 4K version.

Yes, the story is messy, but this movie was enjoyable for what it is...a big budget superhero spectacle! Plus, for the Black Friday price, I couldn't resist owning it! Affleck's Batman and Gadot's Wonder Woman steal the show, and have me looking forward to Justice League later this year...fingers crossed it'll be good!

Man of Steel was such a great film and was more of what I think serious story telling compared to the more comedic Christopher Reeve films. Loved them but I'm more loving the film's story with Snyder's take and better for it. It has a great story, epic feel in scope of the way the film is shot and I'm not bored or put off by Marvel's silly villains that don't seem to give their films longevity or lasting feel to watch them again or more than twice at best.

I am a huge batman fan. It was nice to see batman in action but it was not the same having superman worked into it. I also don't like it when they try to work details of old movies into new ones that have a completely different story line. Now that the price has come down if you haven't seen the movie yet it is worth a buy.

This is a good solid flick, people like to hate on Snyder but he did a solid job with getting the comic to screen. The 3D is decent, but limited to the theatrical version and is not available for the director's cut. Thankfully the movie doesn't really get much from 3D so it's not quite as disappointing as it could have been.

This movie is vastly underrated. The 3 hour version is especially great. It's so much more than explosive fighting or witty one-liners, there's an actual substantive story. The conflict is less between Batman and Superman, but more of an internal struggle within each hero, leading to the physical battle between the two.

The Movie was well made, even though the premise was flawed. Why was Batman angry with Superman? He, more than most should understand that collateral damage occurs when you're saving a whole planet from being Terra-formed. Superman was absolutely correct when he said, "If I wanted it, this would already be over."

I started not to buy this movie when I did, because all of the talk show hosts and newscasters had told most of the movie, which took all of the excitement out of watching it, but I'm glad that I went on ahead and bought and watched it. It was a good movie to watch, and I'm not going to spoil it for those late watchers like myself who have not watched it yet. All I'm going to say is, it was a good movie to watch, and I'm glad that I bought and watched it.

I really enjoyed this movie in the theatre and was excited to hear that they were adding additional footage to the Blur-ay release. However, I did not find that the additional footage answered any lingering questions from the theatrical release. If you are purchasing this movie for that reason alone, I would not recommend.

Well, we all were worried about ole Benny Boy playing Batman, at least I certainly was. But he didn't disappoint in this role, different than the great Micheal Keaton, better than the terrible George Clooney, and on par with his dark side with Bale.... Watch this! it (probably) won't be the worst thing you see this year.

Superman is the godfather of all superheros. He was born with all his powers. Batman has the same nobility as Superman, but uses his vast wealth and technology to help society. Typical fake news organizations try to take both down and pit each other to battle. Enter the beautiful and mysterious Wonder Woman to attempt to get the boys to play nice....great story. Ill be back to Best Buy for Wonder Woman's new bluray when the movie comes out shortly

The movie got hammered by critics, and was hit or miss by the fans. Myself, I had a lot of fun with it. Ben Affleck did a great job as batman, and I thought the best Bruce Wayne I've seen. Not a lot of BvS fighting, but they make it count and really draws you into the fight. Really excited for where they take it from here

People expect DC to be like Marvel with their films, and why not? Marvel has enjoyed great success! But DC is building a different world than Marvel, a little darker and grittier. The extended edition of this movie, in particular, is what you want to watch. It fills in many of the holes of the theatrical release.

I may be one of the few who actually liked this movie. The dark tone fit really well, seeing as it was Zack Snyder directing it. However, it does have a few cheesy moments, and Jessie Eisenberg is really hard to handle in this movie. The extended cut of this film adds some background which makes the film easier to follow.

The consensus I got was that the Ultimate edition was the only way to watch this movie. Though I have yet to watch the theatrical release, I can only imagine the holes it could have since I still think the Ultimate edition needs more plot points added to explain everything. Overall still a good movie but nothing great.

If you have a 4k TV with HDR, this a great movie to enjoy all the benefits of this new UHD format. I watched with on the Vizio P55-C1 using the Xbox One S as the UHD player and the movie looked flawless. The story and overall quality of the entertainment can be debated, but the cinematic presentation in 4k is fantastic.
