I don't know why everyone is so up in arms about this movie. I liked it. I think Affleck did a great job. I am stoked they are finally starting the series. If it's confusing that is only cause you need some comic basis for some of the back stories. But you can still enjoy it without knowing all the details. Worth buying

Never like when a comic movie franchise switches such as Batman's multiple actors through out the history. Was skeptical of how Ben Affleck would be in this movie considering its his first time as batman and was really wishing Christian Bale would reprise his role, but I tried my best to go in with an open mind. I will say it was a great surprise to see he brought a darker aspect to Batman. Was a good way to bring together the Justice League.

Like most Zack Snyder films it's pent up and moody. It seems to be a cross between a reboot and a continuation of two franchises and this film can get lost to those unfamiliar to DC Comic Universe or can be a disappointment for those that are story purists. I enjoyed it for it's moodiness and atmosphere, but I think it tried to cram too much into a single film and the "epic" battle between good and evil fell short of being "epic" and i really would have enjoyed it being closer to the telling of Superman vs Doomsday series much later in this DC film universe. DC's trying to imitate MCU's film formula and it's just not executed well. As a stand-alone super hero film with characters you know and recognize it wasn't bad. For being a Black Friday special I think 4K version was worth the $8.99 I paid, but full priced $27.99 I'd probably skip the purchase it for a rental.

Excellent movie with great action and realistic fight scenes. The costumes were done well also. The movie did have it's flaws though. Overall, I liked the movie much better than Captain America:Civil War because CA:CW had cheesy fight scenes and with the exception of Spider-man the costumes looked second rate at best.

There are a few brilliantly realized moments, the acting is mostly strong despite the weak script , and there's enough mythic raw material sunk deep in every scene that you can piece together a classic in your mind if you're feeling charitable; but if you aren't, “Batman v Superman” will seem like a missed opportunity.

When I first heard this movie was being made I wasn't sure what to think of the plot, but I was pleasantly surprised by how entertained I was by the movie hence why I decided to purchase the movie on Blu-Ray. I must say I was a little disappointed in the 3D Blu-Ray ... It was too blurry at times even with a 4K OLED TV.

Overall, I liked the movie. I thought Afleck did well as Batman, and Wonder Woman was great. A few plot holes here and there and I thought Luthor was a little weak as a villain. Some things never really made sense - the whole desert wasteland scene... But overall , pretty decent, albeit about 30 minutes too long.

Although not perfect, this was yet another must-see DC movie and a move towards a larger franchise. The storyine could have used a little tweaking, but the action scenes more than made up for it, as it often does with this type of film. If you're into the superhero movies, then you need to add this to your collection.

The original theatrical release was garbage and full of plot holes... it tried to hard to be epic and if it weren't for Ben killing it as Batman this movie wouldn't have been worth the second watch. But the directors cut is great and makes a complete and fluid plot, while it's a little long... it's not hot garbage

Better than the regular cut. Extra footage helped explain some things, or made them more clear, especially for the non-hardcore fan. Only negative is that the digital copy isn’t iTunes compatible, but never will be when you are pushing your own digital service, but at least admit it on the packaging.

This was a good movie. It was action packed, had several chapters from the DC universe and kept me interested. My only complaint is that it felt a little rushed at points. They tried to put so many things into one movie it loses focus at times. I would still recommend watching this though and the Steelbook is awesome!

All I heard was people complaining about this movie. I don't know what is wrong with them, this movie is far better then most of the garbage coming out of Hollywood these days. Can you pick a couple things you might not like sure, but overall visually very cool, action packed. Entertaining movie.

BvS Ultimate Version is AMAZING! I loved this movie in theaters but seeing the extended ultimate edition with extra cut footage.. the movie gets fleshed out more and some plot holes are filled in! BvS is a great movie to put 2 of the biggest Heroes on screen for the first time and provide a launching point for future individual DC and Justice League movies!

This movie certainly had its issues but it was no where near as bad as critics would lead you to believe. It was more dark than a marvel movie but then again most DC story lines are more dark. I liked that. I could have done with a little less attempt at humor. If you liked Man of Steel, you should like this as well.

If you can look past Lex Luther as I did, I think you can enjoy this film. It is a little long and predictable, but I find it enjoyable to watch. I try to watch all of the new comic book films that come out and I don't really hate any of them though. If you can grab this on sale, I really think it's worth it to own.

Overall the movie does pander towards the comic nerd rather than a typical Marvel movie, which appeals to all. It's slow in some places and the end reveal is a little rediculous. However, I would rather live in a world where studios are putting the big three in one movie on the big screen than have nothing at all.

The additional material included here adds depth and eliminates confusion in scenes cut short in the theatrical release. Bruce Wayne's demons are the main story and it revels in his darkness. But don't give up hope. Redemption, even for the most tormented, is always a possibility.

Batman v Superman is one of the most anticipated movies of all time for comic book fans. Who will win??? Will batman outsmart superman? Will superman's strength and powers be to much for the mortal batman? This movie answers those questions and more. The added bonus of this version is the extra footage and I have to say it's worth the buy. I for one am excited to see where they take the Justice League movies with this as the starting point.

I thought it was good. A little darker than most DC films and yet another version or actor playing Batman, but at least we have a Justice League story development in the works. I've been waiting a very long time for Wonder Woman to finally appear on the big screen, and the Flash as well. 2017 can't come soon enough!

As movies go, this wasn't exactly the best superhero movie in the world. The 4K version of it didn't help the storyline magically get better, but the transfer of the film and surround audio tracks to the disc still make this disc thrilling and extraordinary when watching on a 4K tv and a decent surround system.
