If you like the darker themed DC comic movies, you'll enjoy this. Sets up a variety of upcoming characters, especially Wonder Woman. Jessie Eisenberg plays a completely insane Lex Luther. The extended does help explain quite a few questions you may have by watching the theatrical release. It's worth watching.

Don't know why this movie got poor reviews from critics. While far from perfect, this movie was good and not boring at all. Ben Affleck wasn't bad as Batman and Gal Gadot did a pretty good Wonder Woman. The extended version on Blu-ray filled in some spots and I recommend this one over the theatrical version.

I loved this movie from start to finish. I think it's an awesome what to kickoff the DC movie universe. It was jam packed but in my eyes it accomplished everything it set out to do. Henry Cavill is the best Superman since Christopher Reeve. Gail Gadot was fierce & a perfect choice for Wonder Woman. Ben Affleck was the perfect Batman. I thought packing it with a book of their greatest battles was the perfect way to showcase everything.

this movie is absolutely great. the directors cut adds 30 mins to theatrical release and fulls in some needed narrative to help make movie cohesive. the acting..picture...and plot is amazing. the only downside is if u buy the 4k version....the blu ray packaged with it does not come with the extended version.

This is the start of DC version of what Marvel has been doing for several years already. Movie itself was average. But if you are one who likes to have complete sets of stuff then it starts here. More DC movies are on the horizon and this one is the start of a storyline to be carried out over several years.

This movie did not deserve the bashing it got it is a good movie and the ultimate edition really does fill in holes from the theatrical release but it still needed a lot more action I thought there are times where it is a little boring but overall I liked it. It should have been great but it was good enough.

The 3 hour extended version of this movie was much better than the 2 hour version I saw in the theater when originally released. The additional footage provided a much better backdrop and background and just added to the story line and the characters. The only criticism I have, in general, is that the DC movie universe is so much darker, visually, than the Marvel one. If DC could only lighten up a bit, they may create a better draw.

The uncut version is outstanding and should have been the one shown in movie theaters. This unique plot of Batman Vs Superman sets the stage for DC comics to finally compete with Marvel. The acting from Lex Luthor is exceptional...he makes the film entertaining. Ben Affleck is really a great choice for Batman. Loved how Wonder Woman was interweaved in the storyline. Great action, great story....The uncut version should not be missed!

I just like watching the special feature sometimes when I know the story has a lot of detailed behind the actual film so by the special features for this was something I enjoy I even watch that before watching the movie itself so I got a better understanding of it so just a fan I'd recommend it

Personally, I enjoyed BVS. It's not the greatest superhero movie, not neither is it as bad as critics would lead you to believe. Batfleck was much better than I expected. Jeremy Irons was a great casting choice for Alfred. I'm interested to see how this movie will spin into the upcoming Justice League.

I enjoyed the concept of the movie, an albeit short battle between Batman and Superman before they teamed up to defeat their common enemy. But I felt there was no build up of some of the characters. You get glimpses of other DC comics characters, but there is very little else. I was also put off by some of the glimpses into the future. The movie just didn't tie it all together nicely. I really like how Marvel is building their cinematic universe as well as trying to tie in their TV series wherever they can, but I think DC is playing catch-up and trying to build their cinematic universe too quickly. I'm hoping the next DC films help to tie all the glimpses together.

Unlike some other movies, the extra scenes included in this addition do improve the overall movie. If you saw the movie in theaters and had mixed 50/50 feelings about it, this cut might be the one for you. I wouldn't have purchased the theatrical version, but I got this one on sale and it was worth it.

This is basically a teaser film for the Justice League film that is in the works...don't get me wrong...it is a very good teaser. I really liked the 3D and I really, really liked Wonder Woman [can't wait for that movie!], she almost stole this movie from 'Supes & Batty', but alas she was in it long enough.

Disappointed, the movie description says it has the digital code to be able to watch in any device ( tablet, cell phone, laptop) then when you enter the code, it says it’s expired! Why would you sell a movie with an expired digital code? You guys need to put in the description “ Buyer be Ware, Digital Code is expired “. That was the main reason I bought it! For the Digital Code!

I really appreciate the new direction that Snyder has decided to take the DCEU. There's so much more underlying themes and symbolism that goes beyond just a superhero movie. It's not like the MCU movies. But at the same time the execution is poor. I recommend watching the Extended Cut of this movie.

It is definitely worth it getting the DVD/BluRay version because it was a better deal than getting one of them alone. The extended version it so much better than the theater version. Highly recommend to get the extended version because it really clarifies things and makes you understand scenes a lot more.

The Ultimate Cut is is a superior movie compared to the theatrical version. All the plot holes are filled in and a lot more is explained. The pacing of the movie is much more fluid as well. IF you were not in love with the theatrical cut, you really should watch this version. My only complaint about this version of the movie is that the 3D disk that is included in this package is not the Ultimate Cut, it is the theatrical version.

I'm not sure the extra 30 minutes for the "ultimate edition" really adds anything to the movie but the featurettes and bonus material sure do. Being able to watch this on my Blu-Ray compatible overhead projector and special screen, also purchased at Best Buy, made me the envy of my friends. Best Buy's products turned a simple movie night into an event. Did I mention I also bought my Popcorn Maker from Best Buy? One stop shopping!

I held out watching this in the theater for the inevitable longer director's cut that would see the light of day. As expected most who saw both versions felt the longer director's cut was superior. I can't compare the two, but I still feel like this was an average movie at best. I for one was not worried about Affleck as Batman (he was perfectly fine in the film). Honestly my biggest complaint with the film would be the pacing and the casting of Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. I like Eisenberg, but he was the one poorly miscast in this film, not Affleck. My recommendation would be to rent this film before committing to a purchase. I am stoked for the follow up though which will have Affleck himself behind the camera as well as playing the title role. So far as a director he can do no wrong, so I'm excited to see what he'll bring to the table.

I saw this movie in theaters and it was very good. I heard the extended edition coming to Blu-ray and I had to get it. Once I watched it, it made a good movie even better. The extended edition fills in some of the gaps of the theatrical version. The Blu-ray is definitely worth a purchase...
