Overall, this movie was okay... the plot was hard to follow, but the action and action scenes carry the movie. There are just too many different plots and things going on, so it makes the movie somewhat confusing. Just see the movie for the action, if you do that, the movie ends up being pretty good.

This movie was good but not great. It was a little hard to follow along with all the different characters in it. I was hoping that it would have been like the first Superman movie and only had Superman vs. Batman and they should have made another that started to introduce the other characters.

Production design and action sequences are top notch. However the story is a slog and is needlessly padded. Still it is nowhere being the worst film ever. Despite the length the finale feels rather rushed. The sight of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman on the same screen is a long awaited highlight.

This movie is far better than the critics say. Just take it for what it is - a comic book based movie - and you'll enjoy it. Many said it was too dark and serious. Batman's a pretty dark character - it's not supposed to be lighthearted. All in all, a good start for the JLA. Looking forward to more.

If you enjoy a good story you will enjoy this movie. DC comic fans should LOVE the movie. And remember a movie is always a bit different. I was glad to see these characters on the big screen. I always take my comic movies with a grain of salt and don't sweat small differences. People seem to overlook that for Marvel for some reason but to each his own. And Wonder Woman is gorgeous! Also the 4k disc is great quality!

We recently purchased the Samsung 4K HDR Blu-ray Player. (Enough titles in the product, eh?) This was my 1st experience with an actual 4k HDR disc. Wow!! There is a definite difference with HDR. The movie was great to begin with, but 4k adds a new level. I talked more about the quality of the disc rather than content. If you like DC Comics, you'll like this movie on any format. I don't recommend VHS or Beta. LOL

Not a perfect movie - more development of the Luthor character and his motivations would have helped - but I thought Affleck did a nice take on Batman in the Dark Knight Returns vein and I enjoyed the main storyline. The last part seemed a bit rushed and lost me a bit but overall I liked it a lot.

Dawn of Justice had quite a few issues and bad editing was among them. For those not familiar with all aspects of the DC Universe, this version fills in some gaps and better explains some excess Easter eggs many didn't understand. The movie still has issues but the story is a bit more cogent now.

Still think the Avengers series is more fun to watch, but I really enjoyed how well this movie was put together. Was very skeptical about Affleck taking on the role of Batman after the Christopher Nolan movies, but I was happily surprised at his performance. Looking forward to the next ones.

DC movies are often put down just because reviewers are all marvel fanboys, and while I'm upset DC didn't dig into their extensive talent pool from the CW it's still a great movie. I mean, writing out the green arrow during the superman/batman battle was a mistake...but whatever.

I know this movie wasn't the greatest when compared to Frank Millers The Dark Knight Returns. To me that was a great comic book and the story was top notch. The one thing I did not like about this movie was how Doomsday came to be. He reminded me of the trolls from The Lord of the Rings movies.

It's not campy but it is dark. I see from other sites including this one that the movie is not for everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially in 3D at home. I also thought that Ben Affleck portrayed an awesome Batman. The whole cast performed beyond my expectations. If you like Batman as much as I do I feel there is almost no way that you will walk away from this film unsatisfied. Has re-watchable property as well!

Greatest mash up of history's first real super hero team. BvS at its core is not a film about these people with abilities it is a film about a world in which these individuals exist. Regardless of others opinions. I have personally viewed this film in theater over 30 times. I have seen the all available formats of the film and I will say the 3 hour cut is superior for those who cannot connect the dots.

at first, I wondered why they created a movie with two super heroes fighting against each other which is why I didn't see it in the theaters although I am a huge sci-fi/action/super hero fan. When it came out on dvd, I purchased the movie because I heard so many great reviews about it and low and behold, it was amazing...except the ending (no spoiler). I hope they have a sequel especially because of the ending, ugh!

The theatrical release cut out a lot of scenes that made the movie incomplete. This version puts them back in. Looks amazing in 4k (using xbox one s... Sony 65 x900a). Be aware though that the regular bluray disc that is included does not contain the ultimate edition... It is on the 4k disc only.

I actually like both Superman and Batman...no favorites. This movie doesn't delve into the torments of Batman, but takes you to the actual fight. I like the fight scenes and the introduction of the Wonder Woman character. The best thing about owning the bluray is you can watch it at anytime.

After the reboot of Superman, The Man of Steel, seemed to me a movie with out a plot, I expected nothing of this film. So I rented it on line and we enjoyed it so much in the family thar we got a copy during black Friday sale. It has a good story, not just endless and midless fighting.

Decent movie, bought it as a gift for a good price!

I love superhero movies, and Batman v. Superman WITH Wonder Woman making her big screen debut to set the stage for an ultimate alliance in the justice league is an ultimate movie-watching experience. Add 4K HD picture and sound, and this is the holy grail for superhero fans who love to watch movies in their home theater. The digital format of this movie is a great bonus to watch it on the go when I'm not at home.

I liked this version much better than what was in the movie theaters. There was a lot of information than made the movie better along with scenes of Superman helping the bombing victims after the bombing. Now only if they could cut maybe 30 to 45 minutes out of the movie it would be perfect.
