The extended cut is better than the theatrical cut. I got the steelbook. Really nice. It is still great to see superman and batman on the same screen. I've probably seen it about 5 times and it still holds up. After seeing the justice league trailer I'm ok calling this a stepping stone.

I waited to get this on Blu-ray because I heard bad reviews. Going in with low expectations, I was pleasantly surprised. They tied the two characters together very well, and it did a good job at making the reasons plausible for them being at odds with each other. I will watch it again.

one of my favorites movies of the year, loved the artwork of the steel book even more than it had the two covers for the prices of one, however i think it was a little pricey for just the blu ray dvd combo pack, if you are a fan or love collectible cases it might as well be worth it...

I know this movie is very controversial among comic book fans, however, in my humble opinion I think this movie was pretty good. Of course each director is going to try to make his/her movie his/her own - that should be expected. I've enjoyed this movie so much, I watched it about 5 times, between theater and home views. The uncut version was not quite what I thought it would be but I enjoyed it as well.

The first thought of this movie seemed a little hard to swallow, Superman vs Batman, it didn't seem like much of a fight. However, I thought they did a real nice job of creating the tension and then bringing to a showdown. Also, Jesse Eisenberg did a great job portraying Lex Luther.

Good movie for tying various storylines from the comics together to show on the big screen these two icons meeting for the first time. Lots of different opinions out there on Affleck as Batman, but he did a great job portraying a battle weary Batman. Definitely recommend to fans.

When I first seen the movie was slightly confused on why they did certain things, but the extended edition actually tells with details that the theatrical version left out. But in the end I just felt the movie just wasn't that good but I know people that actually enjoyed it a lot more

I thought the movie was made as well as they could make it, nobody wanted to watch Superman be a boy scout for two hours and Ben Affleck did play a pretty good Batman. They kept somewhat true to the government's involvement to the creation of Doomsday, overall I really liked the movie.

I may be in the minority, but I liked Man of Steel, and I really enjoyed this DC movie, too! Yes, it's darker in tone than the Marvel movies, but there are still some light moments, and I actually found the plot thoughtful and engaging. Of course there is some great action, too!

The extended cut of the film didn't offer anything new or profound, but it is more enjoyable (albeit long) the second time around. The graphic novel sold me on this as it collects various Batman v. Superman stories (a best of collection) in a well-bounded pleasant-to-the-eye design.

This is not the best superhero movie you can buy. Plenty of great ones out there but this is NOT a bad movie either. It's work a rent/buy since it helps set up the DC Universe being set up to compete with Marvel's Avengers. It is the lesser is all regards, but Ben's take on The Batman is much better than I thought it would be. He's no Bale, but better than Clooney or Kilmer. Wonder Woman is a nice addition, but it is still hard to buy Batman making Superman out to be the bad guy. Lex is wasted in this one. I think they were trying too hard here and it shows. Again a bit to much unrealistic CGI battling, which is the one thing I did not like with Man of Steel. Good, certainly not great and I got the extended edition, but did not notice any new material of note.

I was a fan of the movie to begin with, and not because the movie was great, but because I love comic book movies and who doesn't like Batman and Superman. The extended version really fills in some missing pieces of the movie. The extras were pretty cool. I always love seeing what the movie looks like when the actors are actually acting. It's amazing how much the movie comes alive through technology/CGI.

I think that "Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" was one of the greatest new DC Comics-based films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I really enjoyed all of the action, mystery and suspense that kept this film very entertaining and enjoyable. I also think that "Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" had a really great and amazing cast, plot and personal storylines as well.

I know it got hammered by the critics, but I found it fun and amusing. Admittedly a bit overblown and certainly preposterous at times, but it is a comic book actioner, after all. The audio/visual attributes of the transfer are strong, as one would expect. Wonder Woman is kick-a**.

...As D.C. prepares us for the Justice League, and Wonder Woman gets to the BIG screen (finally) and we are introduced to a new Batman...This movie did not "shorten or shave" from the original storyline or stray from Suicide Squad...This movie is excellent from start to finish...Can't say enough on the cast! Kevin Kostner, Diane Lane, and Amy Adams are simply brilliant along side the main characters...

I just couldn't get myself to go to the theaters and yet I broke down and bought the movie. Just as I thought, everyone did an amazing job BUT Ben Afleck just No.. No No No... Don't get me wrong there are many movies he did a fine job but just as he ruined DareDevil, He ruined Batman.

Ok, like the extended version better than the theatrical one. Has pretty good features, story could have been better and felt they tried to cram to much in. But all in all, fun to watch, take these comic book movies for what they are. The 3D was very good, enjoyed that part the most!

This version of the film is sooo much better than the theatrical release, which I pretty much hated. The additional material here, really elevates the film to a movie I actually liked. 4k transfer is great.

C'mon...Really? It's freaking Batman against Superman!!! What's not to love??? Granted I've seen the movie in theaters 3 times in all 3 formats and I still love it! The set comes in a hard cover book with a collection of stories. All of which I have not read yet (and I'm an avid comic book collector and reader)! Enjoyed the formats, the comics and most of all did I mention it's Batman Vs. Superman???

Batman v Superman movie version is an okay movie. It tried to compress so many different plots from the comics that it creates one giant incoherent, hard to follow story. However, with the Ultimate edition of 30 plus minutes, it makes for a more enjoyable and entertaining story line.
