SO much better than the original version we saw in theaters. The ultimate edition really explains some of the plot holes from the theatrical version. Plus this being available as a 3D title was a great plus for the collection. The 3D looks incredible as well. Awesome addition.

I found Batman vs Superman lumbered along in it's first hour. We're treated to the events which prompted Bruce Wayne/Batman to develop disdain for The Man of Steel. Ben Affleck's characterization of the Caped Crusader was fully fleshed out by the time the action begins. While we see the mania which drives Lex Luthor, Jess Eisenberg's portrayal comes of more like a poor man's Joker without the makeup. The back half was only moderately welcomed by me due to the appearance of Doom and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), though her role was more akin to the missing boy wonder, Robin. For action, it's pretty vanilla, though the killings are a bit brutal for younger audiences. I didn't dislike it, but maybe I liked it more than I'm willing to admit, hence, 3-stars.

I have the 4k original and decided to also buy the remastered 4k. If you are a fan of the movie which I am and want to own the best possible viewing experience than it’s a must own. A little step at $17.99 but it’s flying off the shelf’s so good look holding out for a sale.

Very good film covers a lot of ground. Great action battles between the two, and separately. Jeremy Irons great as Alfred; Amy Adams as Lois Lane. Deep thinking provoked regarding crime fighters and heroes; and a dark view of those heroes by the public. Very enjoyable.

I picked up this movie after so many of my friends were talking about it. After watching the complete 3+ hour extended version, I can say that it is a conglomeration of both "The Death of Superman" and "The Dark Knight Returns" I am disappointed that there wasn't anything really new here. Some of the lines from Henry Cavill sounded forced, but the real problems were given by the use of Geezer Batman from "The Dark Knight Returns"; the liberal gun use and slow fight scenes are a step away from what we expect from Batman. On the positive side, Ben Affleck does play a good Bruce Wayne. And as for Wonder Woman's appearance, it was superfluous and is completely transparent as the catalyst for the other team members in the follow-up Justice League movie.

I had low expectations after hearing my friends say this move was meh.. But with them only having seen the theatrical cut in theaters and this being the ultimate cut I decided to buy the blu-ray and watch it. I ended up really enjoying the film. It feels like a continuation from Man of Steel superman movie. Give it a chance if you haven't seen the Ultimate Cut, it might change your mind.

I know the DC movies get a bad rap and I am not sure why. This was not perfect but it was a summer blockbuster movie. They are there to be big, loud, and flashy. No difference here. I am a huge Superman fan and Affleck as Bats was awesome. Can't wait for Justice League.

The picture quality is really nice for not being true 4K. HDR is present during some of the more exciting fight scenes but the movie overall has a dark picture tone. The audio is great for full surround sound.

The Ultimate Addition helped to fill in some of the blanks that seemed to be missing from the theater version. Perfect set up for installments to come of Batman, Superman, Wonderwoman, the Justice League etc. It is a great time for comic books fans both old and new alike.

Great movie capture on the edge of your seat the entire time I was very happy when I finally received it. Delivery took longer than normal I had to wait a week and a 1/2 later to receive my video.

I bought this cheap. My wife hadn't seen it and wanted to have more DC movies in her collection. It is the same experience as the first time. Some will like it and some won't. Its definitely not for the comic book enthusiast. But its entertaining.

Although it tried to put much story into it, the film was still good all around. Cool action sequences, more conflict for an older Bruce Wayne/Batman as well as Superman still trying to do right and find his place on earth. Good setup to Justice League

This was a good movie. I wish the actor who played the original Batman would return. I cannot come to grips that Ben Affleck is Batman. Not good! They should try their best to get there original Batman back or find someone else that can make that character believable.

Saw this in theaters and loved it. Wasn't too sure about some of the actors and actresses playing as my favorite DC Characters, but overall they did very well. It's a great setup for the Justice League movie and I can't wait to see how that one goes. Thanks for reading.

I thought this wasn't a bad movie and being that you have to expect some stories that were overlooked because these characters would need a trilogy each to explain their stories. However, I thought the plot was not bad but not great... definitely a must see for DC fans!

Liked this movie. Not as bad as critics say but Batman character not the same as with Christian Bale. DC Comics has got to do better to compete with Marvel though I'm tired of comic book based movies so hopefully not too many spin offs from the characters in this film.

This ultimate cut of the movie addresses many of the concerns people had with the movie. The pacing is better, Superman has a story arc, and character motivations make a LOT more sense. Recommended if you somewhat enjoyed or were on the fence about the theatrical cut.

The movie is primarily an adrenaline-packed, violent action film that reinvents the super hero to essentially new characters, except for Batman. Batman has always had a dark convaluted character basis so he fit in to story line well. Wonder Woman has lost the moral centered innocence and wholesome essence of the original comic character and the TV series w Linda Carter. Superman loses his all American persona as well. The movie spends little time on establishing the characters and seems to base it's thrust on turning our assumptions of them on its head. The movie feels more like a videogame than a super hero story. I miss real characters. I miss real story line with a semi-believable plot. But it is a graphic success with top notch CGI.

This was a very well done movie. I really enjoyed the 2 different ways in which Superman and Batman handled crime and evil. The acting was also good (even Afleck). However, I think that they were so determined to start the Justice League that they tried to do too much.

The look, the sound, is totally on a different level. With that being said the ultimate cut is only for the 4k blu-ray disc. As for the regular blu-ray it is not the ultimate cut. I'm not sure why they did it that way. I wish the ultimate edition lived up to its title.
