Personally, I wish I had waited a few more weeks and just gotten the Blu Ray. I liked the movie and the Extended edition was much better than it was in theaters, but the comic was meh. At least it comes with 3 copies so I have back ups.

Pretty glad I was able to snag this when it was on sale. The quality of the steelbook is really nice and feels very fancy. Overall, it's the same as the other edition's - extended, standard, and digital HD - nothing too crazy about it.

Why was this version not released in theaters?

Why was this version not released in theaters? The ultimate edition of BvS:DoJ is a coherent film unlike it's theatrical partner. 30 extra minutes which make this movie a lot more enjoyable than the garbage that was the theatrical cut.

The Extended movie is the one that should have been release in theaters. It gave a better understanding of what really went on in BVS. The HDR 4K pretty much bringing IMAX into your home as long as you have a 4kTV with HDR and a Player.

I saw this in the theaters and was terribly confused. I never read the comics so I was completely lost. When the ultimate edition came out with new footage I was able to follow the whole movie. Everything (more or less) came together.

Like my title says, the product itself was a good to high quality bluray. The movie was a 5 or 6 out of 10. I am a big Superman fan and this was hard to accept. Man of Steel was a better movie. This was really a "Justice League Begins".

This movie was so highly anticipated. It had the 3 biggest superheroes in the world and should have been the greatest superhero movie ever. However that is not the case. I believe they greatly missed the mark. The story left a lot to be desired and I believe casting missed the mark on many of the superheroes. If you have no love for the characters or if you go in with no expectations you will have a decent experience and probably enjoy it. However, if you love these characters, and wanted them done justice so they could dethrone Marvel, well we'll have to wait for a reboot or maybe suicide squad. At least we have the animated movies, they are so much better.

This movie was good, the rated R version was better than the PG-13 version shown at the movies, much more action! , I don't even look at PG-13 version I viewed the R version 3 times now with friends. , and I love the limited steelbook!!

Cool representation of the epic fight between Batman and Superman. The story is altered a bit but also hints at the collection of super beings to form the Justice League. Wonder Woman steals the show and should do very well in her own movie. The concerns of the anti-alien sentiment is interesting to note and adds some realism to the story.

This is not the greatest movie ever but it is also not the worst. It could be better and the movie takes a while to get to the point. I recommend the extended cut of the film if you really want to see some cool action featuring Batman.

Beautifully enhanced version of the BvS Ultimate Cut that has improved colors for more pop and now includes the IMAX scenes that display in an eye popping 4:3 ratio like Zack Snyder's Justice League. Recommended for all Snyder DCEU fans.

Movie was solid, interesting way to introduce wonder woman and aqua man. Extended version did a better job of that then the theatrical version. I was not in favor of Ben Afflack playing Batman but he did a credible job nevertheless.

I have to admit, I was not a big fan of this movie after seeing it in the theater. But the visuals alone got me to buy the bluray. Throw this on a big screen, ignore the glaring plot issues, & enjoy a big budget superhero action movie.

This movie is very entertaining, but has some issues with the plot lines. Some of the story seems rushed. They attempt and succeed in setting up future installments, but I would have preferred a little more thought into this film.

It's a fun popcorn movie as long as you don't go in trying over analyze everything. Despite the bad ratings this movie got, it's very enjoyable for me and one of those movies I can watch again multiple times just for good fun.

I enjoyed this movie and didn't think it deserved the negative reviews it received. It does take a while for the movie to get going and good. The extra half hour added for this release might be the cause of that. Overall a solid movie.

I personally do like this movie. I know a lot of people don't. I mostly enjoyed Batman's role in the movie. Other than Batman killing people, I thought the portrayal of Batman was great. Love the steelbook cases that Best Buy offers.

I'm a huge fan of the non popcorn flick darker take that Snyder has done with MOS and BvS. This movie was long but it went fast for me, I enjoyed the teasing of the JL and thought the build up was just right. Was there a few things in it that I didn't like? Of course there was but they weren't too big of cinema sins to make the move bad.

This is a great movie. If you like the Man of Steel movie you will definitely like this on. Its darker and more grown up than The Avenger's franchise. Really good action scenes. Affleck does a great job at playing a furious Batman that you have never seen before. Wonder Woman is awesome as well. Great fighter as she should be. Thumps Up.

I preface this review with the disclosure that I am a huge fan of Christopher Reeves take on Superman and Christian Bales take on the Dark Knight. This movie departs from the tone I've come to accept for Superman. I also don't appreciate the characterization of Lex Luthor. I didn't find Batman's use of gun violence to be consistent with the mythology I've come to accept. That being said, it was an interesting take on the start of the Justice League. Wish we had a standalone Wonder Woman movie to have preceded this. Marvel has done some things well in terms of character development over time that DC could have learned from. Just my personal view.
