I did enjoy this movie, which is why I decided to purchase it. it is a dark movie, however, and lacks much of the lighter banter which lightens the intensity, and that can be found in many other superhero filtms

Now this is a truly gritty and dark story. I'm not used to seeing Batman so vicious. Superman as usually is a shining beacon of hope. The introduction of Wonder Woman and Dooms Day make this an incredible story.

This movie was a bit drawn out at times full of back story slow action, but great at showing how perceptions vary from people to people. It's entertainment for me, not a masterpiece but I love comic book movies.

I really enjoyed this movie. It is not very everyone, but I found the dialogue and action engaging and well done. It is too bad more people didn't enjoy it, but I recommend you go into it with an open mind and give it a chance.

The film itself is really good and I like the direction DC is going with the franchise. The steelbook packaging is gorgeous and is what convinced me to buy this version. Batman on one side, Superman on the other.

I love the way Superman and Wonder Woman are portrayed. I am less impressed with Ben Affleck as Batman. Good story, good acting, good characters make this an important addition to any Superman collection.

I wasn't sure that I would like the film since it didn't do too well at the box office and the critics did not like it but my family and I loved it. It was action packed, great story line and Ben Affleck made a very convincing Batman. I highly recommend this movie, besides, what do critics know what we like.

Didn't see this in theaters so I picked it up with minor expectations about how good it would be. I was quite happy with it after watching it. Kind of long but for the most part the movie kept me entertained. Ben Affleck as Barman was surprisingly very good. If you're a fan of these characters I recommend it.

Ok, first off I will agree that this movie has some problems, from editing out key information, having plot holes that make you wonder what the point was, to some boring moments that should have been cut out but wasn't. However, once the extended version of it, (yes more to watch), this movie actually got a few points higher for being liked. There is a key moment that was taken out of the main theater version that once put back in gives the story some semblance of sense. If you haven't watched since the theatrical release then you should at least watch the extended once to give another shot.

I saw BvS in the theater and thought the harsh critics' reviews were off base. Is it a perfect movie? No. But, I really enjoyed it. So, when I saw that Best Buy had the exclusive steel book, it was a no-brainer.

Overall this was a good action super- hero movie. It seems to drag on a bit towards the middle, with the storyline getting washed out. The ending does pack a lot of action into a short period of time, though.

I know not everyone loves this movie, even die hard fans of the characters. However the Ultimate Cut really delivers on some of the story-telling short-comings of the theatrical version. And Wonder Woman is awesome! Set aside expectations that this is a Marvel movie, and you may come away enjoying this.

I was expecting tons more from the extended cut version of the film. While the additional footage was fun, it didn't warrant as much attention as I was hoping for. Still, a great flick. Def. worth getting in 3D.

The expectations for two of D.C.'s greatest characters coming together in a film were high, and I had such high hopes, since the stories from the comics were so good. Unfortunately, they tried to do too much, too quickly and too soon. Bruce Wayne/Batman didn't come across as brooding, dark, but heroic, even if a vigilante. Instead, he comes across as a brutal dictator and murderer, no better than the people he fought, and if you didn't like his decision, then God help you; deciding what is best for him, you, me and the world at large and to heck with anyone else opinions. I really didn't care for his storyline at all and the suit he wore, it was unrealistic. The man wouldn't have been able to turn his head. Clark Kent/Superman had the better storyline, it was deeper and more thoughtful, but I felt it was not developed as well as it could have been. Plus, the fact that Superman barely has any lines in this movie. It was cool to see Wonder Woman, but I would have preferred her to be introduced in her own film, instead of briefly in this one. And Lex Luthor, I hated him. He's a cool, calculated, somewhat older, genius and mastermind, who thinks before he reacts. They turned him into an annoying brat, that I'm still not sure what his purpose/plan was. And all I can say is Zod and Doomsday are NOT the same person, period! This film had talented actors, a massive budget, a huge fan base ready to love it, only to not spend some of that time and money of coming up with an equally incredible storyline. As much as D.C. films want to do thier own thing, and not be accused of copying, they really need to look at how Marvel/Disney are creating their franchise; It works. This film had so much potential, could have been so much more, but fizzled out instead. I hope, when these two iconic characters meet again (and they will), that they will have learned that less can be more and substance does matter over huge special effects.

I heard mixed reviews about the movie but if you have seen the new Superman, this is like a continuation. I liked it and thought it was good. It is a lead in to the other DC movies that have come out and are coming out. If you are collecting the DC movies, it’s a must have.

If DC wants to start releasing extended versions of all their films - I'll be OK with that. This extended edition answers some of the questions that I had while watching the original version back in theaters.

I purchased this after seeing more than a few comments that stated the 30min of deleted scenes plugged some plot holes and added to the continuity, making the film considerably better. I have to disagree. While it did add to some plots, getting them to make more sense, it didn't really make the movie any better. Still ho-hum, just 30 minutes longer. If you have seen the theatrical version, you've suffered enough. Curse you, Zach Snyder! P.S. I was SO tempted to go on about how easily Superman would destroy Batman and letting the comment war begin. Hard not to pull the pin on that old gem! j/k

I thought this was a decent movie . There are actors in the movie that some people like me don't like much. I thought it was better then critics scored it. The actors in my opinion did better then i thought.

I really liked this movie in theaters. But the Ultimate Edition, with 30 additional minutes is even better. This isn't just some extra dialogue tacked on to existing scenes. This is more story, new scenes and even more action. It's a whole new experience. It also has some great extras and behind the scenes.
