It got a bad rap for no reason. This is a great film, made all the better by a superior home video release with extra footage! Should not have been R rated cut though. I mean, come on. We don't need that. And it should not have been made R rated. This is family entertainment after all.

I enjoyed this movie at the theater, and I enjoyed it the 2nd time around. The extended scenes and extra footage add a little bit to the movie, but I didnt think it did a whole lot. This is my first UHD blu ray. I really didnt notice that much quality difference, on my 55 inch UHD tv.

We found the battle between these two a little hard to believe. We were also quit disappointed in the seemingly unnecessary physical relationship with Lois and Superman.

I enjoyed this movie mostly because I'm a DC fan. I enjoy how they bring all the characters to the big screen. The effects and c.g. are very cool. The picture looked stunning on my 4000k LG tv.

A lot of people seem to give this movie a hard time, I think it is a solid film. Don't compare it to other hero movies and it stands just fine, not the best but still worth seeing.

It's not bad but putting Gotham City and Metroplis next to each other was wrong. Other things wrong in the movie too. D.C. Needs get better at their adaptation on movies like their TV shows.

Not a huge comic follower, I was a bit skeptical of this movie beforehand. Why are Batman and Superman fighting? Aren't they on the same side? But I admit I surprisingly enjoyed this movie. My husband and sons loved it. A bit dark, but entertaining. Shoes the human side of superheroes.

Ultimate Edtion is definitely better than theatrical cut. Very dark and grainy in parts. HDR shines well in the rooftop scene and ending battle against Doomsday. Good pickup on sale

contrived plot, good action, good cgi. I thought affleck would be the crutch, but eisenberg as lex luthor really took me out of it. I thought the movie was pretty bad until I saw suicide squad.

Excellent 4k presentation of a film that has kinds gotten a bad rap, although Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor was pretty strange. Check out the 3 hour extended cut. Beats the theatrical by a mile!

Still not too sure on this one. The movie itself is rather long and drawn-out, which makes it boring at times. Yet I have watched it three times so I would recommend you review it for yourself.

I feel that the film was good but not great for a few reasons. The biggest thing was the casting of Ben Affleck as Batman he is not right for the part I would have preferred a more manly actor.

Overall a good movie, introduction of Wonder Woman was great and a boost to this movie. Darker story, and preferred Christian Bale as Batman, but still worth watching.

When I saw this movie, I was expecting it to be movie with both Superman and Batman. In all actuality, this is a Batman movie with Superman and Wonderwoman as side characters. While still a Marvel fanboy, DC is doing decently with their live action movies but still dominates the market when it comes to their animated features. The movie its self is decent at best but if you wanted to see Batman and Superman fight it out, then this is your movie. Also, the rated R cut ties the movies together better but all it really is in reality is just a directors cut.

Purchased this for my 10 year old grandson who has 8 weeks of no physical activity due to a baseball injury. We had to look for things that would keep him amused and this fit the bill.

I am a huge superman fan and love 1hat they have done with it. They have made it more realistic and entertaining, less cheesy. While it doesn't follow a lot of Canon and it can, at times, be long and drawn out, for what it is I think it's great. And that is just an entertaining movie!

This is a really good superhero movie. The extended version makes it better. A little too dark at times, but still a very good move, especially with the intro of some of the other JLA members.

This was a good film at the theater, but the Ultimate Edition tells sooooo much more to help understand some of the main points of film. Henry rocks as Superman once again, and Affleck brings a believable older Batman.....

While the theatrical version was met with mixed reviews the blu-ray version is worth the price of admission. The Zach Synder version is longer by 40 minutes and explains what was left out. The extra features are a great addition. I recommend to any DC fan or those who liked the movie.

It is nice that this is the ultra extended cut - I feel like it filled some holes in the story. The 4K and HDR on this is great, and was better than the theater for how dark this movie was.
