I had been wanting to watch this movie because when I was a child I always enjoyed playing Battleship. i would recommend it if you're into the board game.

This movie did not get great reviews, and is just plain ridiculous. Why space ships that can travel thru space are limited to remaining in water vs flying overhead makes you scratch your head. It's a dumb movie. Having said all that, I enjoyed it quite a bit. It's action and over the top story, all worked for me.

Another good film destroyed by the horrible reviews. I found it very exciting, full of action and awesome special effects. In 4k, it rocks the room. Very fast moving and top rate action film!

The 4k quality was good.Could of been better. The sound of the dtsx sound was great. Much more atmos like sound compared to other movies. Would definitely recommend if you have a theater setup.

This science-fiction film is creatively produced and well directed. The acting is good and suspense is used well throughout the movie. Grab some popcorn and hold on tight.

Saw it at a friends house; wasn't interested when it came out at the theater. Was pleasantly surprised and good enough for me to buy it in 4k

If you care not for the story the visuals are solid and it makes for an ok film when you are in the mood for the typical "dumb fun" movie

This film is good action, fun to watch. Rhianna looked great along with Brooklyn Decker. Liam Neeson was ok. Decent not great though.

This movie was a bomb at the box office and critics slammed it but I thought it was really good. Good action and pretty story line.

Set your expectations low, as this movie lacks in many aspects; but it delivers in action sequences and mindless fun.

Not quite like the board game lol but still an action packed entertaining movie! Transformers meets Independence Day.

So this gets 4 stars... but hear me out... the movie isn't the greatest. However it is entertaining. I don't expect much from video games, or in this case a board game, movies. This one is entertaining enough though if you don't scrutinize it too much... So I give the movie about 3 stars in terms of storyline. Basically just brings back the nostalgia for anyone that enjoyed playing battleship. But I will give the 4K presentation of this a full 5 stars. This is a standout 4K presentation. I would even go so far as to say this is near close to reference quality, if not reference quality. Demo worthy in its own right. It was made with a 2K DI so not native 4K however the upscaling in the end worked wonders. The WCG and HDR also help tons to show the vibrancy of Hawaii and the vividness of the water scene.

Some corny moments, but if you are a fan of Peter Berg movies, you'll like this one.

Good Sy-Fy movie. Wife doesn't usually like Sy-Fy, But she likes this one.

Saw this before and I liked the action in it. A good battle with aliens!!
