    Good sound, poor microphone

I use my Beatsx for music and phone calls. The sound is good and they block out noise pretty well due to the snug fit. My problem is with phone calls because the mic does not filter noise at all. This is a deal-breaker for me. Disappointing as they otherwise work well. Pairing is easy and solid. Comfort is good. Battery life is pretty good but not as long as advertised.

Nice Earbuds, but not very pleasent

They aren't bad. They have everything any earphones would have. Great bass and sound. Taking those highs and lows. Just the only thing is the comfort. They don't feel nice as I hoped. Would recommend for those who love to skate and run.

These are the absolute best headphones I've tried them all Powerbeats3 jaybird X 3 The freedoms the Sony's. I've even tried the Bose I just think these beat them all sound quality the way they fit the way they fast charge you can hardly tell they're on your neck. I love them so much I almost want to buy a couple more pair to give to my girlfriend and her kids I'm electronics geek and I work out four days a week. I tried everything for 49 dollar skull candy to 300 bose. Nothing is better.

    LOVE THESE BEATS!!

I recently returned my set of LG Active Bluetooth headphones to best buy because they stopped working (luckily I purchased the warranty) and decided to trade for the Beats X. I absolutely love these earphones. They're comfortable, they charge really quickly and the battery lasts a really long time. I get every bit of 8 hours playback from a full charge. The fact that they use the same lightning charger as my iphone makes them even more convenient.

I bought these to use at work and when I travel. I have used them a few weeks now and absolutely love them! They fit and stay in my ears very well (once I figured out how to assemble them, lol). Sound is great. They are super easy to use and I love that I can control my phone with them. Very glad I purchased them! As an added note, the light gold color is really more of a rose gold color which matches my phone! Bonus!!!

I love these bluetooth earbuds! Plus they were a good deal on sale. The sound is sooo much better than cheaper ones I've tried and also, the music doesn't cut out or get static-y sounding when i'm walking around the street like the $40 pair of bluetooth earbuds I had. They charge pretty quick and while I haven't timed it, I'd venture to say that they actually do last about 7-8 hours on a single charge.

love the BeatsX!! they are a bit longer than the power beats and with the magnetic tips there is no worry of them falling off my neck when not in the ears. the 8 hr battery is good. really like the Fast Fuel charge with the lightning cable good buy

    Great sound, not so comfortable

To start, these are great headphones, but I do have some issues. First the good: seriously the best sounding headphones I’ve ever heard, but now the bad, unlocking that potential isn’t so easy. To really hear what these can do (assuming you’re listening on an iphone) you have to get an equalizer app. Otherwise the limits of iTunes/Pandora/Spotify’s sound processors just won’t let the beats really do their thing. That being said, once you do find one you like, these are amazing. More bad; they aren’t really comfortable. I had some old LG 730’s before these and they’d were easy to forget about as far as wearing them. The Beats don’t wear as comfortably under a shirt with a collar when I’m at work. Instead i have to wear them under the collar like a tie. The wires from the neck part to the ear pieces are kinda stiff and much more noticeable than my old headphones. They also seem to only skip to the next track when they want. One day they will, the next they won’t. Overall, sound gets a solid 5, but comfort and misc. get a 3.

    horrible

I dont know how anyone gave this product a good review, I used it for gym, after one month of sweating all over the headphones, the volume button had mind of its own and automatically turns up and down. Design of the charging port faces downward so it is easy for sweat to get into the device. it is not water resistant. The fit isn't the greatest, I was in-between the small and medium size buds. The sound quality is horrible, even worse if you use small size buds, does not have any bass whatsoever. Bluetooth is ok, but power button stays on if you disconnect it from the phone. Battery life is good. Apple EarPods still fit and sound the best.

I tried these for about a week (purchasing on launch day) and really wanted to love these Beats X, but ultimately returned. I was looking for a replacement for my LG HBS-810 Ultra (horseshoe style), which was serviceable but I was excited by the features of the Beats X. While I appreciated some of the features (lightning cable charging, comfortable fit, extended bluetooth range aided by W1 chip), the sound quality (which was only incrementally better than my LG 810) just didn't justify the $149 price tag. Being used to the horseshoe style retractable buds of my LG 810, the necklace style fit of the Beats X felt very awkward, as was the performance of the inline volume controller / microphone. The power button is very small and hard to use while wearing. The morse code-style inputs required to the center remote button in order to skip/fast forward songs was also very confusing and not at all user friendly. I untimately went with the Jaybird X3 (which has superior sound quality despite the proprietary charging system) to replace my LG 810.

    Disappointment

For a runner, these earbuds do not come in handy. I am constantly having to adjust them because they are very uncomfortable. The cord is long and bounces around when I run, which interferes with listening to music. I often end up taking them out and not even using them. However, the sound is good when not doing any physical activity and the battery lasts very long. Overall, it depends on what you will be using these Wireless Beats for to get the best possible use. I personally would not recommend this product if you are a runner, but rather for someone who would like to change to wireless earbuds for everyday use.

I have the hardest time finding ear buds for my little ears. These fit perfect with no slip out at all! All noise around me is cancelled out, which is great when I use them as a head set for work. The fact that I can use these as a headset and then music and pleasure is so amazing. I am highly recommending that everyone get these!!!!

I bought these in store a a few weeks ago. Comfort is pretty much spot on. Sound I can not complain about. the only thing that is kind of annoying is when I pair it with my macbook pro which takes a long time other than that I have see no problems with the beatx. Worth the money too.

    Lots of faults

I purchased the BeatsX hoping to find a good headset for my commute as well as daily calls and Google Meets/Hangouts. I tried with an iPhone 7 and a couple of MacBooks. The Good: - Easy pairing with Apple devices - Lightweight feel around the neck - can be worn all day - Earbuds click together with magnets when not in use, making convenient to wear all day - Comes with carry case The Bad: - Music does not sound good - tinny. Standard EarPods sound better - Mic not good for calls. Those on other end could not hear me well even in modestly noisy environments. - No guidance on correct way to put on ear wings (left/right). I put them on the wrong earbuds and it was near impossible to get them off. Very frustrating. - Cheap feel for the price. With the exception of the part that goes around the neck, the wiring felt like lanyard. The BeatsX just fell down on nearly every quality I was seeking. I'm not sure where all the good reviews are coming from. Although I got them on sale for $99, I found the Jabra 45e ($99 list) to be superior.

Great, unless you want to run, sweat, or bench

    Posted .

Sound quality is good. When I run with them they do not stay in my ears (even with the "wingtips" put on there) and the cable coming from my left ear bounces against my face with every step because of the control switch on that cable. When I sweat, that control switch stops functioning. When I bench with them on, the part that is supposed to rest on my neck falls down and has to be adjusted every time I sit up.

Ok sound but good connectivity & battery/charging

The sound on these is just okay but they have have excellent range and super easy to connect to iPhones. 8hrs on a full charge is great battery life and 2 hours use off a 5 min charge is excellent if they die on you or you forget to charge them. And being able to charge them with a lightning cable is plus since I’m an iPhone user. A lot of good things going for them but I wish the sound quality was better. Prefer the sound quality of the jaybirds ana bose at a similar price point.

    Great sound, awkward neck cable

These are great headphones. As my first pair of headphones with Apple's W1 bluetooth chip, pairing could not be easier with an Apple device. And they have great, balanced sound! My only complaint is the portion of the cable that wraps around the neck; I much prefer the way the Powerbeats cable ties behind the head/neck as opposed to having this band sort of sit on the bottom part of the neck/shoulders. I got used to it pretty quickly, but it's still a minor annoyance!
