My Air Pods Are Far Superior To My Beats X...

They switch between iOS devices on one's iCloud account effortles. But my Air Pods are far superior to the Beats X and have better pick up on their mics also. But I am one of the ones that has trouble keeping them in my ear. I bought the Beats X because they have a cord around the nec k as remedy for that but I am sacraficing a lot of quality in exchange. I then purchased earhoox and other accessories to keep them in my ear but none are practical. I finally rigged something myself with parts from the accessories I purchased to keep them in my ear. I went through all of that effort because even having the Beats X here with a solution, the air pods are so far superior to the Beats X as to warrant it worth it.

    Failed 2 Times

After purchasing the product, it quit working after 5 months. I took them to Best Buy, who in turn sent them back to Apple. Apple sent me a new set, which in turn quit working after 9 months. Best Buy had me take them to Apple who in turn said that the product has a 12 month warranty, regardless of how many were replaced, not a new 12 month warranty on the new set sent to me. My only alternative was to pay $75 to have them repaired. I did not opt for that option and threw them away. I only used them about 5 hours a week......ridiculous that they will not replace them. I will never purchase another Beats product.

    Trash Product

Bought BeatsX headphone set at 4:30. Returned for refund by 6:00. Product would not pair with Apple phone 7 Plus or Apple Watch 3. Talked to Apple Customer support and they were unable to suggest ways to pair that worked.

Bought this a year and a half and they have broken to me twice! They just stop charging. Normal office use and to walk around my house. No sweat, no water, nothing out of the ordinary and they break. Now Apple is charging me 80 dollars to repair them again, with 90 days warranty. Who would invest a dollar on this kind of product?! I regret the day i paid 170 dollars for this! DO NOT BUY THIS! I have cheaper headphones for more than 4 years in perfect condition!

    Beats X Junk

BeatsX earbuds are the worst earbuds at any price that I have used. The good-they take a charge quickly. The bad-the on/off button is extremely difficult and finicky to use, pairing is a hit or miss proposition and the provided storage case is worthless and not suited for the earbuds. I don’t recommend buying these earbuds at any price.

    Terrible headphones. Poor battery life

    Posted .

Here are my issues with the headphones. After just 30 days of usage, headphones went kaput. Red and white light light started blinking and headphones will not charge. Also the battery life stated is NOT TRUE. Lasted 4 hrs instead of the 8hrs when it did work. The only good thing about these headphones is that one need not unpair and pair if one is using it with an iphone, macbook pro, ipad and apple watch. Returned them. Stay away until apple fixes them. Check out the reddit forum where people are complaining about the charging issue.

    Disappointed

I have both the PowerBeats2 and Solo3. I decided to give the BeatsX a try for when I'm running errands or traveling. The battery life isn't great, but I knew to expect that when I purchased them. I like that the earphones can magnetically connect. I think the loop is a little long. The main reason for my low rating is the sound quality. It was extremely poor compared to my other Beats items. It was fine for podcasts but for music it sounded very tinny. Not worth the money. If you're looking at the Beats brand, look at their other offerings. I returned my earphones.

I guess that's why they're no longer selling. Bought these brand new in March 2018. Died in March 2019. Tried to reset on multiple occasions, to no avail. Avoid them unless you have one 1 year to live.

    Do not buy

I loved my BeatsX for the first two weeks - then today I only get three short white blinks when trying to start them. Attempted to reset them, to no avail. Searching the forums, turns out tons of other people are having the same issue - from $150 headphones. I have had mine about two weeks and had just tossed out the box yesterday. Now the fun games of having Apple Support be snobbish and tell me I'm "stupid" of course the headset has to be working. -- I like the Mac, the iPhone and the iPad, but I'm stopping buying anything else Apple. They used to make top of the line products, now they only have top of the line prices.

These were made with very cheap materials. The earbuds were falling apart. the left earbud lost total volume. to top it off, the APPLE Warranty is not reliable.

    Terrible Quality - Stay Away

Don't waste your money. I've only had them for 13 months before they stopped powering on. Tried to get Apple to repair them under the warranty, but because they were a month past the 1 year warranty, they told me that it'd be about $80 to repair them. I just picked up a new set of Jabra Elite 65e's and they are honestly 1000X better. Don't buy the hype. These things are built to look nice, but the internals are garbage and Apple knows it, otherwise they would have replaced them just like every other company I have ever dealt with for a product a month out of warranty.

    Don’t buy

These headphones were disappointing. I read lots of reviews about how these were supposed to be great for workouts. My biggest pet peeve was that the cord is thick, and sits heavy on the neck. It was very awkward lifting weight with these. Also one of the buds kept sleeping out of my ear. The box comes with additional plugs to change the ear piece but it wasn’t satisfactory. These are not sweat proof and just bulky. I def recommend the power beats 3 if you’re looking for workout headphones that won’t be in the way of your workouts

Do not buy these, I've had 3 and the quality is trash. one pair is at apple for 2 months waiting for repair. I'm on my 3rd pair-all have lasted 2 months or less. The reviews stating "great quality” must be from Dr Dre himself. BB won’t even let you buy insurance on them. Apple just leaves you in the wind like apple likes to do. Their answer is "get more" I've had Bose for a year and they are awesome and Bose C.S. is awesome. Stay clear of these buds, waste of money.

First pair wouldn’t turn on so brought to Apple store, earbuds were still under warranty. They sent in for repair or replacement and the earbuds were replaced (could have been replaced with refurbished, I will never know). Second pair same issue won’t turn on and red/white light flash intermittently. Have tried resetting, etc, but will not turn on. Of course no longer covered under warranty. I will not purchase Beats products again!!
