DO NOT BUY - Don't know how these have 4.3 stars

Go over to Amazon and read the reviews. I bought mine at Best Buy and they turned on once. I could never get them back on. Misplaced them during a move and recently took them to the Apple store where they wanted to charge me $99 to fix them which is insane since that's how much they cost. Mine are fully charged, the firmware is updated but they won't turn on and therefore are useless. There are MANY people with the same problem (Google it.) You'd be better off lighting a $100 bill on fire.

Stay as far as possible from Beats X,,, worst money ever spend. If you are lucky you might get a couple of month. Really bad support, just google it and believe all you read. Worts thing is they die on you when you most need them or on vacation. Bought Insignia brand $20 excellent item. Please don't buy beats x.

I have a pair of over the ear beats so I thought these would be great for something lightweight...thought wrong! They do not hold their charge nor do they last past 3mths. This will now be the 3 pair I've had and the right ear does not work. I only use these while at work, so they don't get a lot of talk time yet they still can't hold up.

My first Beat x were gifted to me on my bday and they last less than 2 years. First the wing tips began to break off and the my right side earphone stopped working. I purchased a 2nd pair and within weeks the earphones stopped turning on at all. Once plugged the light is on and besides that it won't turn off. Google the issues and found it was common. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE BEATS AGAIN!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. After a year no warranty and they are dead. Battery does not re-charge and APPLE care want to charge $99 dlls to repair when they already cost $99. I paid $170 when they were release for the first time.

    Would not connect

I owned my headphones for a year. During the year starting a month after I got them I had connection issues. My computer and my phone would stop recognizing my headphones. I would have to reset them over 5 times for them to reconnect and sometimes they would not. I called Apple numerous times to ask for help and they were not able to fix them. A few days ago they stopped connecting and I figured after I reset them a few times they would work. Well that did not happen I have reset them 10 times to date and can not get them to connect to my phone or computer of my family’s devices. These headphones are a waste of money and do absolutely nothing. I will be sad that they are done because their only redeeming feature is that they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Other than that they are an absolutely pain. I was told to connect them to your computer and update them. The updater will not recognize that they are plugged in and has not for a three months now.

    Poor quality. Two pairs failed

My first pair stopped working after 12 months. The replacement pair lasted 5 months. Customer service was particularly apathetic. My only option was to pay $70 for a repair and hope they didn’t fail yet again. If you’re looking for more than 12 months of use maybe try elsewhere.

Took these headphones out of the box and didn't work. We figured they needed to be charged but after having several hours to charge we still could not get them to turn on. After reading several other reviews, we will be taking these back. Jaybird for us.

They worked for the first two months, but in the last 3 weeks my Beats X have been shutting off, or not syncing. I bought them on Feb 24th 2019, so I had them for only three months. I am going to take them back to BBY and see what they can do for me.

I had LG Bluetooth for.my phone for 3 yrs . And I thought to try something new, big mistake. These never really were great. The buttons are too sensitive and I was very careful not to press to hard. Connection to my phone and making calls too hard. The sound was ok not like the headphones. Buyer be were!!!

    Change for the worse

These are typically good earphones for studying and running but the company has recently changed the headphones to lack both a case at purchase and the sets of ear fins they used to provide all for the same price as before. This is a slimey move and I wouldn’t reccomend anyone buy them at full price.

I used these only a couple of times and now they won't turn on. Unfortunately, the warranty is up. Seems like a bunch of people have this same issue. Maybe someone needs to file a class-action law suit!

After 5 months they needed to be replaced under warranty. Now they won’t hold a charge and will not connect to Bluetooth. I’m 2 months out of warranty and Apple will not replace. I won’t be buying these again.

There were some major cons to these headphones. The sound quality was more on the lower range for the price you spend. That being said I did love the light weight low profile design. The battery also seems to last as specified and the lightning charge was great. They were perfect for my job, so I could deal with the sound quality and random issues. Unfortunately I got the pink light of death. I tried all suggestions on forums and costumer service, nothing worked and sending them to apple is as much money as buying a new pair. The company not taking responsibility for a known faulty product is ridiculous. We will be making a formal product complaint with Apple.
