I had first gotten a pair of beats solo for xmas. They had broken in a week, but however monster had replaced them for free and I was on hold for no more then 15 minutes. I have since then not ever had a problem with these ones. I personally believe those were a 'lemon' pair and a one time thing. But these are very very durable, I throw them around, drop them put them in my pocket, whatever and they are fine. The style will have people turn head when you walk by down the street. They are a bit uncomfortable for some but whats perfect, nothing. And the only thing I have to complain about is the price its expensive! I also like how if the cable breaks you don't have to get a whole new pair of headphones, you just replace the cord its like 15 dollars with shipping. I love them!

These are amazing. I got the black ones. They have an amazing bass, which I love. The comfort is amazing. It comes with two cables. One with the control talk, and one without the control talk. Best buy offers a 2 year warranty for $30 which covers everything. The cord is thick which makes it so it doesn't tangle. I just got these but I will be using them everyday for just normal use. They have great Mids and highs, well people say it does, I have no idea what that means I just like bass. The case is great for travel, because the headphones fold in to fit into the case. They seem pretty durable and strong, which doesn't matter because the warranty covers any damage.

These Headphones are fantastic. They sound like you have a stereo system in your head. The clarity and bass are great. The built in mic works good but, i could only work it when they where plugged into my phone. They were very comfortable and even stayed on great when i ran at the gym, etc. The only thing wrong was that the pads on the ears would not stay on, they both fell off several times and I've had these for about 30 days. One other problem is that the volume buttons on the cord do not work. Over-all they are good but not what you would expect for something that's 200 dollars.

I have had headphones that I use on a daily basis and none compare to these. I have had them for 6 months now and have used them daily for 5 or 6 hours a day listening to music or watching movies and they are amazing. they are a bit pricy but they are worth it. I wear glasses and they are even comfortable with glasses on. Some headphones I have used with my glasses can be a bit painful after an hour or so but not with these and the sound quality are awesome. I like that the cord is replaceable that is another issue I have had with headphones in the past the wire gets crimped and stop working. with these you will be able to replace the wire with a new one and they work just fine. Absolutely love them.

Got for my son...The earpiece cord wouldn't even stay connected...Overall value is very cheaply made...

Great headphones overall. Although bass heavy it has very clear mids and lows. The on- ear headphones are comfortable for about an hour of listening but then begin to hurt your ears, the padded headband is quite comfortable. I dropped a 25 pound weight on them by accident which luckily only left a weird click when I close them so they are quite durable. Overall I would recommend them but you get quite more with the Dr. Dre Studios. As for the price you can get very good headphones from AKG or another brand with similar quality at half the price. The styling is hard to beat though.

Sound quality sucks and if you need the best earphones go with bose they are the best in the market

I went to Best Buy to get headphones, but beforehand I looked at some online. I saw these and thought 200$ headphones were ridiculous. I looked at some of the cheaper brands when I got to the store, and for giggles I listened to these. It was so amazing I could not possibly consider getting the other 75$ ones I was looking at. Dre was right, we really don't hear all the music. Many reviews say the earphones themselves are too small on the ears, and I dont see this. They dont tuck around your ears like some, but I wouldnt consider them too small at all. They're super comfy, they look bitchin (mine are white though), and if you really do listen to music a lot, you wont regret anything. Im very happy with them and wouldnt 'unbuy' them for anything. I love how they block out the sound-- it makes sleeping very nice cuz you only hear the music. The bass in them is so amazing. That is the main difference I hear. Some people spend a lot of money fixing their car up, some people spend a lot of money on making music sound good. If you are passionate about something you will pay money for good quality. In conclusion: go buy them.

What a piece of shi, no sound quality whatsoever. I purchased it since my kids say they are good and a lot of their friends have it. You can wear it around friends and don't have to explain why you get it. But that is all.

I've had these Solo HD's for over a year and these are awesome headphones for Hip Hop/ Rap/ R&B listeners. These Solos are very light and comfortable, when I walk around the mall with these, it is an eye-catcher. Since I had these since January last year, the lower rubber part of the headband is starting to come off, it's not really a big thing because they stick back as if they were new. One time the rotating part of the ear cups popped out, but I still fixed it like new and never popped out anymore. Other than that the ear cushions are very comfortable, well I have small ears. Anyways these are again, great headphones. PROS: - Comfortable - Bass - Light - Stylish - Foldable CONS: - Not so perfect build - Rubber part on the headband I have the Studios and if you are planning to buy these for the first time and you have the extra one hundred dollars, by the Studios.

I got these beats headphones as a Christmas present iPhone headphones sounds better than these! I expected so much out of the headphones

wow. these headphones are truly amazing! i got them as an easter present, and have been ignoring my parents, because i am using these magical things 24/7. they have an amazing sound quality, are extremely comfortable, and durable-you have to fold them to make them fit in the given case. i thought the price was a bit too much for headphones, but its not. these headphones are beautiful-the style and fit, and the sound quatily. you dont know music until you use these headphones. (mine are in white)

My son got these for Christmas and I had to bring them back because the cord wouldn't work.

Mediocre at best they feel cheaply made decent sound comparable to a $30 set of headphones.

Ended up returning this item because the cord kept getting in my way

I bought these headphones from a friend and when I put then on I was amazed at the sound quality and deep bass I use these headphones 3 times a day for 6 hours, these headphones are great and I figured out today that they don't break in pouring rain. These feel like some mad good pillows on your ears! Oh ya my friend had these for awhile and he said he stepped on them a couple of times, so they are pretty durable.

I am 17 and i was always very independent, therefore my music is my only sanctuary. I primarily listen to Linkin Park, Bassnectar, The Notorious B.I.G, Daft Punk, Kid Cudi and Tycho(Look Him Up). I have a very elaborate music library Now, i have always been an ear buds advocate, before owning these i had the iBeats Ear buds and even those were unbelievable, the bass was just right, you can hear it and you can make your whole head vibrate. When i had tried these from a friend, i knew it. I had went out and bought the solos the next day. I got them two years ago. Because i am very independent, i know to TREAT MY THINGS RIGHT! I have never had a game that didn't work due to Scratches or anything of that nature. My Beats Solo are still in very prestine condition. They still sound exactly as they did the day i bought them. Nevermind everybody hating on them because they're endorsed by Dr. Dre. or you can get better sound for a lower price, cause you can't. These are the best audio headphones and ear buds i have ever heard, and i tried a lot. They look nice and they are very nice. I know when i purposely blast my music from my headphone from around my neck,...i know anytime i want i can drift away into an everlasting nirvana, and block out the cruel world for the small amount of time i have and i have you Mr. Dr. Dre to thank. Thank You

No buying beats again. Sound is weak. Looks like it would sound a little better. Plastic junk.

Headphones are quite simple products. What separates them is quality of the components. This product failed within days of use because of faulty wiring connections. I would not recommend this brand to anyone.

I received these as a graduation present from my parents (who are very technology savvy), and I'm glad they decided on these. I am constantly listening to music. Mostly rock/metal, but I listen to literally everything. These headphones nail EVERY genre. They are a little on the bassy side, but you can simply change your EQ in iTunes or your iPod if it bothers you that much. After all, they are Dre headphones, so they'll obviously be bassy. My ONLY negative comment is the comfort. They are comfortable for long periods of time as long as you slide them off every once in a while. I have some big ole' ears and these press them to the side of my head, but it's not painful. I record guitar/bass through my computer often, so I wear them for hours at a time and they really give a beautiful, true sound to the music I create. If it sounds good on these, it'll definitely sound good enough on cheap headphones or speakers. The ControlTalk feature is pretty nifty. I can control songs and volume on my iPod classic and even through iTunes when I plug into my Macbook Pro (so I don't know if this will work on Windows computers). My parents bought the extended warranty on them, so I have no worries of the durability. I obviously will take care of them and they seem durable enough. Especially the cables, those are really high quality (and you get two).
