So far, I've not had a problem with them. I use them daily and love them. People have been saying they get hot after an hour and they sound muddy. Did I luck out then? Mine sound clear and don't get hot. They're comfortable and cancel out quite a bit of noise. They do what it says they'll do and I like that. My least favorite part is how the matte finish attracts soo many fingerprints. Other than that, I love em.

Expect to make an exchange or two, as there are quite a few that are shipped with defects. My first pair had a really rattly right speaker, and it was considerably annoying. Quite a few of my buds have Beats products and this happens with most of their headphones. Other than that, very nice headphones. Really nice look, fantastic sound quality (on ALL types of music, not just rap),and they fixed the headband snapping. These headphones can reach all levels of bass, mids and highs. The last thing to seal the deal for me was the 1 year included warranty. Overall, great headphones!

Overall great headphones, sound quality good, comfortable fit, durable. The only thing that could be better is filter the inside noise better so that people around me will not be able to hear what I am listening to.

I was hoping to get the Studios but I got these as a Christmas gift. I was kinda disappointed until I actually listened to them. I was pleasantly surprised. They are comfortable, portable and sound great. The Control-Talk thing is very useful (I have an iPod Touch). I do eventually hope to get the Studios. I was very impressed.

I love them! They are just amazing and will not disappoint. Definately worth $200 bucks! I use them everyday. When ever I have them on it cancels out the background noise and I can hear the music perfectly clear.. Sounds like I have a system on my ears. They are very comfortable to wear.

I HAVE MY OWN STUDIO BEEN DOING IT FOR YEARS .....I NORMALY MIX MUSIC OUT LOUD ON MONITERS SPEAKERS........THAN I LEARN HOW TO MIX DOWN IN HEADPHONES......THE HEAD PHONES THAT I WAS USING WAS SOME SONY...STUDIO HEAD PHONES FROM WALL MART....I WAS GETTING PRETTY GOOD MIXES THEYSOUDED GOOD...THEY WAS TWENTY DOLLERS......I DEN HERD 100 DOLLAR HEAD PHONES AND THER CACELLATION IS GOOD AND ALL...........BUT THESE HD SOLOSS..ARE THE BEST OUT I MEAN THE BASE ISS NICE AND HIGHS EVERTHING U NEED TO DO WHAT U DO NOW MY MIXESS ARE RADIO READY........I LOVE EMMMM BUTTTTTT ONE BIGGGGG PROBLEM...THAT .I JUST HAD.. I HAD EM AROUND MY NECK NOT CARELESLY AND I REACH TO TAKE THEM OFFF AND AS I WAS PULLING THEM OVER MY HEAD THE LEFT SNAPED.. Alright so I read alot of reviews about these headphones before buying them and alot of people say they break... ? They don't, the new reenforced headband is very durable and the headphone feel very well built. The sound is amazing, ive always been the type of person that needs good headphones and this is not my first pair of nice headphones but I have to say they are by far the best. Everything is so crisp and clean. The only neggative thing I can say is that they leak a little more sound than I'd like, not a big deal though..... If you have the money, then just go buy them, you won't regret it

Ive been a believer in nothing but Bose for years. I broke down and bought a pair of these beats. They are awesome for the money for sure. Probably the best set of head phones ive ever owned.

Purchased for my kids. Great product and easy to travel with and use. Great sound too!

You will enjoys these head phones no matter what type of music you listen to, these beats bring it to life. Great sound with lots of bass, they fit nice.

First of the complaints that these aren't very durable just aren't true. I was warming up for a game with a soccer ball, forgot I had these on, and headed the ball right off the headband that's supposedly so weak. There wasn't even a scratch on them after wards. The sound quality is great, but for $200 I was expecting a little bit more, but not much. I really don't think that you could ask for much more from an on ear headphone though. Your definitely paying some for the brand name, but still, not that much. They do look amazing though, and I like how they're sleeker than the Studios, even though the sound isn't as good. It's definitely worth spending the extra $20 for these over the non-HD solo's. The sound difference is noticeable. For something with no active noise canceling it also keeps outside noise out well. If your looking to buy a premium set of headphones you should seriously consider these.

I've heard that once you go Beats, you can't go back. They're totally right! These have great bass and I love hearing songs the way they were supposed to be heard. I would totally recommend these to anyone :) They're a little expensive, so snatch them up when you see them on sale! totally worth it!

Okay as many of you know it takes a lot of time and decisision making to choose if you want to spend 200 on a pair of headphones.. It took me 3 months to decided if I wanted the SOLO HD. My friends had them and I loved them but I just wasn't willing to fork out all the money. But I did and THERE AMAZING! Screw what every one says about comfort and duriability. Just buy a protection plan through best buy for 29.99 and you will be good. Also take care of your stuff. Use the bag they provide and always unplug your wire and wrap it back up. Have not had ONE problem with these and they sound amazing! Did I mention I can't even tell that are on right now? And best part... I cant hear one thing around me!

I am a dj (Hip Hop, R&B, Top 40, some Techno) and recently switched from my over the ear after one of the ears went out. FOR WORK: These are great headphone but may have to much bass for some djs. I myself like a consistent bass presence while spinning, my other crew member likes more treble so these don't fit his taste. FOR PERSONAL USE: All around great. They do sound better thru my iPad than my beats enabled phone... But that may be due to the phone more than the headphones. Nice bass, Clear highs, and excellent mids. For the price I would of expected a better feeling product and not the kinda cheap plastic feel they currently have. But once your wearing em, you won't care. While some say Beats are just a gimmick, I say they still make great headphones, even if they are a bit pricey.

These headphones are pretty good... First off, these headphones literally block out everything. Everyone that's tried them thinks I'm just mouthing words to them, when in reality I'm speaking pretty loud. You can even have the volume on low and it still is good. The sound quality isn't the best, but the bass makes up for it. Listening to a huge bass song like "Swing my Door" by Gucci Mane was just crazy, and the beats stayed perfectly fine. They aren't the most comfortable thing; after 25-30 mins your ears start to hurt a bit unless you have them riding low on your ears. The durability is good, but they seem a little bit flimsy. Overall, they are a great buy for a new headphone user, but they are an investment, so make sure you keep good care of them. It also comes with a carrying case for the beats to fold up into, and two connectors.

These headphones are very durable and have great sound quality! Much better price than the fancier beats. They are great for running, listening to music and watching videos. I was surprised about how some songs sounded (but odly not a Dr. dre song).

Went to store to buy for my nephew. Tried them out and ended up buying myself a set. Sound is awesome and love the smaller ear covers. Great fit for kids and women's smaller ears. Nice and compact and love that they fold for travel. Wish they made this size in wireless.

WORKOUT REVIEW, I have previously own the Ironman, Jaybird, Powerbeats, you name it I tried for headphones. I use these headphones for Gym use only, I DO NOT RUN with any headphones period. I use these for calisthenics, weight training, cross training, basketball drills, jump roping, stair stepper, stationary bike, and core training. I have had no issue with them falling off my ears or them being uncomfortable. If you wear a 59-50 hat your golden you can do upside handstand push ups and they wont fall off. Without a hat I still have no issues. Sound quality is above any in ear device including PowerBeats by Dre. You get DEEP Bass, High quality Highs and Mids, and the rest of the Gym Noise is cancelled out. Easy on and off if necessary. Love em

These headphones are great for my personal use. BUT, I would recommend using a treble booster for the EQ on the device you use. But that's my personal preference. Also I would buy a warranty because I hear all too much about the headband cracking. They sound great, plus you get the Beats Audio look.
