i've had these headphones for quite a while and use them all the time. the sound quality is excellent and the headphones are very comfortable even when used for long periods of time.

They are very nice and have good bass. I bought these for my self and I would recommend this to everyone that wants Beats. They are really stylish and great.

I have bought and returned over 20 sets of headphones. These are excellent. The highs are not perfect but the mids and the bass are strong. While not noise reduction they keep all the external sounds out. Real sturdy and the wire is awesome, unlike any other wire from a pair of headphones. They are also "cool" to have. The cushion on the headphone will spin off, it is annoying but goes back on easily

Beats by Dre are no doubt the leader in headphone techlology these days and the Solo HD model is no exception. Pitch perfect sound quality and very easy transportation create a fantastic headphone. Recommended for all athletes.

Having used these headphones for the last few days I can say confidently that they live up to their billing! You will first be impressed by the look of these headphones as they really are the best looking "On ear" headphones on the market. Next you will see the "little things" Monster got right with these headphones: A nice case to store them in, a slick microfiber cloth to keep the headphones looking great, the "righ angle" plug for connecting the headphones to your MP3 player, computer, phone or other audio input. Then the "control talk" feature is killer feature, especially for those of you with an Iphone - you can control the volume and answer calls without even looking at the phone! Next up is the actual sound - simply the best I have heard. Comapring these to anything other then premium headphones is a crime. It is clear from the first song I listened to with these that there was something "different" subtle differences with guitars, drums and vocals are easy to pick-out. These headphones do have "noise cancelling" but that is not a strong point - what I mean by this statement is that you really wouldnt wear them exclusively as "noise cancelling headphones" but when music is playing there is no doubt all you hear is the music how the artist meant it to be. I like how the headphones are put together, the double fold works well with strong hinges. The mix of plastic and medal does give it a fairly odd feeling when an owner is trying to extend the two sides down, they "feel frail" even if that isnt necessarily true.

Purchased these for my teen. The sound quality is amazing. While they are a bit pricey they are worth the money. I would definitely suggest purchasing the Geek Squad Protection as you never know what could happen in the event they are dropped, stepped on, etc.

Sound - These headphones sure do pack a heavy bass, but that's about it! It's hard to distinguish some sounds since there is a muffled sound, almost sounds like I'm on an airplane. I was expecting these to live up to their name, but I was wrong. Comfort - They fit snug on the ear, but I catch myself re-adjusting them to get some comfort. I would prefer Over the Ear. Quality - Light and portable! I feel like I could snap these without trying. Overall - I was expecting to get the Studio headphones but got the Solo instead (as a present). REALLY disappointed In the sound quality. If you are looking for a good pair of headphones go with the Studio and STAY AWAY from the Solo. The extra $100.00 is worth it.

Nice headphones. They can break easily. So if you are hard on equipment, buy a different brand. The sound quality is perfect for the average listener. I bought these on sale for $99.99. The price on here is usually $150+ which is too much to pay for this product. It is a nice pair of headphones, but you can find better Sony headphones for $130. The headphones themselves are comfortable. If you use them for over a couple of hours, they can heat up though. Basically, if you find these for less than $120 and are an average music listener, these are a great product for you.

Bought these headphones on sale for $99, originally bought a set at the full price last year only to have them snap in half. I did not abuse these in any way, as I used them with my laptop only. I apparently just slid them off my head the wrong way one day and they broke. Probably just the comes as a risk with headphones that fold up to save space. Other than that I enjoyed these thoroughly (I did buy a replacement set didn't I?). Good sound for the size and fairly comfortable, can't hear a thing when I have music playing; even at low levels.

These headphones have amazing sound quality! You can't hear any outside noise when listening and others can't hear the music. The only issue I have with them is they are fairly expensive and they are not very durable considering the price for them. We have had to exchange them twice so I recommend the Best Buy warranty because it extends your manufacturer's warranty on them.

Their look is awesome, but they also feel as comfortable as they look.. they stay put while I run also. These will not rupture your eardrum from loudness, but the clarity is exceptional. Complete noise cancellation.It's just you and your music. LOVELY SOUND

Alright, ive come to my conclusion about these headphones. Sound : Let me say that i am a base lover, and i crave a thumping base. These headphones gave great lows, alot more base than its older brother, the studio beats. The mids were crisp, highs were good. I listened to about every genre of music with these; every thing from reggae to rock to rap. you name it, i listened to it. Rap was great, i heard every thing (kid cudi sounded great with these) Rock was pretty good, country was very good, you can hear every instrument. That was the high point in my opinion. SOUND QUALITY 8/10 Comfort: they felt nice and tight, but after about an hour, my ears really started to hurt, due to the fact that they dont fully cover your ears. The headband is nice and they swivel great. COMFORT 8/10 Value for price: ehhhh, i spent 200 bucks on these, im not regretting my purchase, but i could buy better quallity headphones for the money. They cost so much because of the name on them : Dr. Dre, just because the say dre doesnt make them great headphones. Ive also heard that they break farely easy. VALUE: 6/10 Final Conclusion: good, not great. I ould recremend the Skullcandy Skullcrushers. For 70 bucks, they are amazing. They come with a mini subwoofer ; come on, thats sweet!

I recently got my headphones and I must that these are by far the best ones that I could ever buy. Yeah; the price is a little steep. But like they say, you get what you pay for right? And the sound and quality is by far superior. A must buy on ever music listeners list....

I honestly must say, these headphones look really great. In terms of pure aesthetics, not many other headphones can surpass these cans. However, I do believe that the sound quality of these headphones are sub-par, as compared to other headphones of this price range. For only bass? I wouldn't pay $200. I compared these cans to my Bose Quietcomfort 2 and my various other Studio headphones. Everybody mind, I listen to a whole range of music. Whereas the QC2s only shine in their mids and highs, Solos only shine in their lows. Even so, I really think that Beats headphones in general provide a sub-par and muddy sound quality. The only thing that comes is booming bass, but even so, it sounds distorted. That being said, if you were to buy these headphones, only look for these if you listen to anything with lots and lots of bass, and not much real focus on mids and highs (meaning these aren't good for classical, electronica, jpop, kpop, etc.). If you listen to a whole spectrum of music, and like a balance between the three sound frequencies, go for some studio headphones (Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, AKG, etc.) . Mind, despite their being notorious for having ridiulously long cords (3m?) they will provide to you very good quality sounds on lows, mids, and highs; whereas hi-fi headphones (Bose, Beats, etc.) tweak their output to provide you very good quality sound in their specific target frequencies. So essentially, choose your poison when you're looking for cans to listen to, in the long term. Suggestions for Studio headphones within this price range: Audio-Technica M50 Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Shure SRH440 AKG Acoustics K-240

Okay Ive been having these for a month now and i have no problems with them. Ive been reading reviews about these on How they break easily. I dont know how that happens because the Solos HDs come with the New Super-durable Headband that can bend like crazy. So thats what I'm saying about the Quality. For the Sound, well they sound AMAZING, highs, lows, mids, you can hear them all.

I love these headphones. They sound amazing and crisp but cost a liitle too much for bugget. if you have some extra cash laying around and you want a quality pair of headphones, these are for you.

i have had these headphones for about 6 months. many of the reviews hear say that the headphones break easily and hurt your ears after a short period of listening time. I took over a 5 hour car ride to up-state New York over the summer listening to these headphones the entire time and i had no problems with the comfort. The only thing that happened was my ears heated up a bit. as for the durability, i have not had any problems with the headphones breaking easily. all you have to do is keep them in the case and not throw them around like a pair of free apple headphones you get with an iPhone or iPod. as for the sound quality and noise cancellation, there is none. You will hear people around but only if they are close to you. many times i have heard the person next to me in the car talking but not the person behind me. These headphones may leak some sound but that is only at high volume levels.

Picked up these headphones on sale for only $99 at Best Buy just days before Christmas. They are well designed, comfortable to wear, and the audio quality is superb. The case that comes with it is very nifty and holds not only the headphones but also the cord with a little pocket. The cased can also be clipped onto something if needed. One of my favorite features is the sleeve that protects the headphones from being scratched by the zipper when you close the case.
