The price was a little hard to swallow but my son wanted them for his birthday and was willing to forego all ather gifts just to get these. We decided to purchase them. He loves them. I have used them briefly and they do sound fantastic.

I have had mine for three years. I have used them in the gym, on planes, even in a combat zone, these things have been dropped scuffed, spilled on, you name it, and they sound as great as the day I first bought them.

the dre beats are a good present for christmas and its really good for pre-game amp like get ready for a sports event, wash dishies, or long car rides

just bought them today and i love them!!! they sounds great and i think they are as good or better then bose. sound great look great and feel great

I just got these for Christmas and these have to be the best headphones they said they took off alot of bass from the original solos well that aint true these have plenty and they are perfect the bass, highs, mids there all perfect on these headphones and absoulotley no distortion

I feel like I should begin by saying that I was opposed to owning a pair of Beats headphones for years before I finally got this pair. The price just seemed ridiculous and I would constantly say that there was no sound good enough to make me spend $150+ On top of that, I thought them to be huge and obnoxious. I stood firm by my opinion until last December, when my sister got a pair of these solo HD headphones in black. I noticed that these were not as big and oversized as the ones i typically saw on other folks, and when I held them I was surprised by how light-weight and comfortable they were. I played the song "Lullabies" by Yuna and I was completely blown away. Let me tell you, I have heard this song countless times, but when I played it with these HD Beats it felt like I was listening it for the first time. I am not a music pro by any means, and have no knowledge about the terminology, but I'll try my best to describe the experience. I heard sounds and beats coming from more than one place. When I had listened to my other headphones, all of the sounds seem to come from one direction..it was like all the sound waves were mixed together and it almost sounded generic--like nice-sounding static. But when I listened to this song with the Beats, I felt like I was in a recording studio and I could hear Yuna singing in from of me and someone was mixing beats to my left and someone else was to my right and someone was right behind me. It came from all around me. On the first fifteen seconds of listening I actually looked behind me thinking that my niece's phone was making some noise, but no, it was the song--I was hearing parts of the song that I had never heard before! I was sold. The next day I bought a pair. I've had them for over a month now and have not regretted it even the slightest bit. I am the most stubborn person I know, but I will openly say that whatever I said before, any negative comments, I take it all back. I was wrong, so so wrong. I am not cheap, but I am money-conscious. These headphones were worth every penny, and I highly recommend them. If you are looking to get these from someone of a younger age, I would take caution though. One of the design pros of these headphones is the fact that they fold over and are easy to store (in a padded case that is included). But this fold over quality can also be a con, it makes them that more prone to damage so kids just have to be extra careful around them.

These have got to be some of the best headphones on the market.

These may appeal to hiphop people more, but country music is awesome from these. Amazing headphones, but a $200 price tag is a bit much, should be about $100

Worth the price, better then the earbuds. Clear sound, softens outside noise, great for planes. Not useful at the gym as they are larger then earbuds, so I'd keep spare earbuds close by.

After purchasing the pro's in January, I decided to pick the solos up for my wife. The sound quality is amazing, and the price isn't too high. They aren't near as comfortable as the pros, but overall they are a great set of headphones.

The sound quality from these headphones is great. Not sure why people say they are terrible. I love them and use them for everything.

My daughter told me she wanted one thing for Christmas, "BEATS" dad. So when I received the black Friday email from Best Buy with the discounted price, I got 2 for the price of one so her sister can enjoy her own set too.

I got this headphone for just 80 bucks during the Thanksgiving sale. These are wired headphone although they have not shown the wire in the pictures. The headphones are compact and quality of sound is really good. When you put them on, the other sounds around you reduce substantially. The sound quality is really nice, although others can hear your music if played too loud. But no complaints at this price. Just go for this if you are looking for budget headphones. After all Beats is not owned by Apple. :)

I got my headphones around Christmas last year. I love the sound, the bass, the crispness of the sounds as well. The volume control on the headphones was a nice feature and all I can do now with my next headphones is be sure that is an option. My only real complaint about the headphones is the durability. My son was using them and was trying to adjust the length of the headphones and just sliding the ear pieces up, the middle snapped in half. No way to repair them and not worth the money, just getting new one.

These headphones are great for sounds canceling. My boss coughs a lot year round so I bought these to drown out the annoyance. The sound quality is great. They are fairly durable, but I take care of my things. They really hurt my ears after about 2 hours then I have to either switch to the ear buds or position the headphones at another angle close to my ear so I can steel hear the music but so the headphones don't give me cauliflower ear.

they are a bit pricy, but they are still very good headphones. I like the fact that it doesn't really bother your ears if you play it loud. For me they are very durable, every one takes care of their stuff differently, I can't speak for everybody. I definitely LOVE to use them to talk on the phone!

These are my first pair of beat headphones and they do live up to the so called "hype". Nearly everyone on campus owns a pair so I decided to give them a try for myself and by all means, I am truly impressed. Not only are these headphones stylish but they offer sound quality like no other headphones I've owned in the past. They offer great comfort but wearing them for too long can be a bit straining. Overall, I am pleased with this product and cant wait to buy the orange pair for the hell of it. 100% recommended.

Just because "everyone" has them, doesn't mean you need them. These headphones may have decent sound quality, but for the price you are forking over, these are not worth a glance. If you ask people who listen to Pop music and other Top 40 music they will probably tell you these heaphones are just amazing,b ut, here is the thing, they don't know music good enough to be able to analyze their headphones output. They arn't that amazing. I switched to Aerial7 Tanks recently. Not only are they cheaper, more durable, and more comfortable, they also have a higher frequency range then the most expensive model made by Dr. Dre. Please, before you buy these, look at other headphones on the market and offered by Best Buy. You can find better headphones for a much better price.

These are truely excellent headphones. The price is high but you get value for your money. If you have the money and want to have good headphones then go for these.

Beats have great bass and though the sound isn't all that authentic, it sounds crisp and clear. Would definitely recommend.
