I think that this was a great purchase. I love these i listen to them every day! A great buy for anyone who loves music!

I can't believe I believed the hype about these headphones. Most of the songs sound muffled and the only ones that sound OK are the bass heavy tracks. If I ate something while listening with these, I could hear the chewing. If no music was playing, I could actually hear my heart thumping. Weird. Had a better listening experience with my cheap $30 headphones. Definitely a disappointing experience.

Bought these for my son for Christmas and he has barely taken them off. He uses them constantly and loves them.

I'm pretty disappointed in these and returned them. I have a set of SHUR ear buds that sound better than these, I ordered a pair of BOSE AE2i on the way to replace the Solo's Mid Base is really muddy, an equalizer could manipulate some of this to an acceptable level, highs are not crisp at all, I have 4000 songs on my PC and sampled many song types, but decided to return them after sampling many songs of classical, rock and jazz,, they are tight fit on my head as well

A birthday gift for my boyfriend, he loves them he wears them to workout in they don't slip and fall off of his ears like the others he loves them.

Son really likes Beats, he uses them everyday. Always has them with him.

While the quality, look, and feel are great with these headphones, the sound is average. For less money you can get into a pair of AKG's or Grado's and be much happier. The base is muddled and just not much detail. If you can afford it and like the over-the-ear design then you will love the sound of those but for now they need to work on these a little more.

Needs more treble and cushioning on the headband. Also i think i need to burn these headphones in.

I got these for my kids (13,11,9 yo) for Christmas . They love them.

I owned these for several weeks before returning them for the Studios. They are average at best and in my opinion over priced. The controls work fine with my Iphone but not so well with my DroidX. The appearance is very nice and it has a great case. The sound quality is average with a bit more base and muddy mids. I would expect more fat this price.

I purchased this product around Christmas and several months later after wearing them only three times the inline mic broke. While the line is composed of copper the mic is made of inferior plastic. I returned the item to Best Buy for an even exchange. Now, I am holding my breathe every time I use them. I recommend that anyone buying this product to purchase the 2 year insurance that is offered by Best Buy.

For $200, I expect people to hear me. Apple sells includes a $30 headset with better mic quality. Additionally, bass is awesome on these, but at the price of clarity. Anything other than hip hop leaves you with an appreciation for the included iPhone headset. These are worth $120 at best. It's sad because I think it's Dre entirely. Monster dropped the ball with the mic in the cable. But, ultimately, Dre's name is on it.

Luv, luv, luv, these earphones. Tried them in the store and I'm so happy i purchased them. Music sounds so different !!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so excited to get these headphones! At first there was no discomfort, the sound was great, especially if you want to drown out outside noise and are a fan of bass. However, after a while of wearing they REALLY hurt my ears, to the point where they felt bruised - :( - and the plastic on the head piece feel and look a little cheap.

I had very high expectations of these, based on the price, hype and such, but unfortunately they didn't meet my expectations at all. First and foremost, they didn't sound that crisp/clear. I expected so much more on that end, but what I heard was muffled and bassy, with not so much on the high end/clear side. The clarity was just 'meh'. Very surprised at that... As far as fit and comfort, they initially felt very nice and cushiony , but after about 10 minutes, my head started to hurt. Maybe they are just too tight? I don't know...but I couldn't' really deal with wearing them for too long. I've never had that problem with headphones... One good thing about them...they look nice. But, that's about all I can give them. The extra cords, packaging, carry case...yeah, that's all nice and pretty, but the "sound" and "fit" we well below par for that price. Make sure if you're looking at these, you try them on at a Best Buy locally, and spend a few minutes listening to them. These were a gift to me, and had I known and been able to try them on, I would have avoided them and gone for a different brand like Sennheiser, Sony or Klipsh.

i love the beats by dr dre. I would get them again

Good headphones, sound is great but it's not durable. I had them for about a month, enjoyed music for a while. When I would wear them for a while they become very uncomfortable, not good for people with big ears. a week later, the headphone fill of my head and the headrest broke in half when they hit the floor.

Little pricey but you get what you pay for. I would buy them again.
