The Beats Studio Wireless headphones don't sound as bad as some make them out to sound. Sound is suggestive and so everyone hears things differently but in my experience these actually sounded pretty decent for the price I paid ($189.99 during a flash sale). The Beats did however suffer one fatal flaw. I'm not sure if mine were just bad or if this is a regular thing on all of them, but in the right ear cup I could hear a noticeable "wishy-wash" noise. It was the kind of noise you'd hear on a radio if the station were broadcasting but there was no one talking, a la dead-air. It wasn't noticeable at first but I would start to notice it when no music was playing in the headphones. I know these are noise cancelling but to hear it only in the right ear cup made me think mine was probably defective. I decided to return them and will wait for Apple/Beats to release the updated version of these.

I have had two pairs of these. Over time and frequent use they break. Specifically the plastic breaks just over top of the ear pieces on each side. I taped them up with electrical tape, see photo. Best Buy replaced the first set however my second set did the same thing.

After quite a bit of research, I ended up putting out the extra cash to purchase these. I love them. I wanted lower-profile high-end wireless headphones that looked awesome. Behold the Beats Studio Wireless. It's true, the sound quality and comfort may not be as great as others out there at this price, but you're paying a premium for the brand and looks.
