The best of both worlds: sound and portability

Let's be honest. When selecting a pair of headphones, you have to ask yourself, "Do I want them to be lightweight and portable? Or do I want them to sound amazing?" Well, now you don't have to choose. These headphones have amazingly rich bass without having to feel like you are the cream inside an Oreo cookie (and look like one too!). The fact that they are Blu-tooth wireless gives them great range and clarity and allows you to use them at the gym without having to worry about snagging the wire, sending your iPod flying across the room. And the fact that you can make/receive phone calls with them is just an added bonus. The headphones themselves are very comfortable and do a great job of reducing the noise around you. I can't wait to use them on my next flight! At $279, they are a little pricey. But I can't find anything I DON'T like about them. So overall, they are worth the price.

Compared with my 2nd it's way inferior in quality. Compared with my first generation one - that I love buy the way, even if it cracked. - is infinitely times inferior.
I just bought a beats pro because I think the wireless one looks so so fragile.

I was iffy about buying these headphones because of the price. I was going to buy the soloHD instead but hey wireless (for me) is better. I use theswhile workin out at the gym & gardening. The sound is awesome, the bass is clear crisp , I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Not thrilled with price but owell , I'm happy with my wireless beats :)

Great product! I use these at the gym connected to my iPad. The sound quality is amazing, from watching movies on the elliptical to listening to music while lifting. I was surprised at how well they actually stayed in place throughout my workout. No active noise cancelling like others, but any outside noise is very minimal while they are on. Range and battery life are great as well.

I went through two pairs of these junk headphones before returning them and giving up. The Motorola S105 are the best Bluetooth headphones money can buy!

These headphones have WAY more bass than the Studios. BELIEVE ME! Everything about this is better, other than the extremely comfortable Plush on the studios. They handle way more sound and almost never crackle at high volumes. The bluetooth sound is above average, but wired is a bit better. They are really light, and portable.

Just got my wireless silver beats today.... I was so excited, that u would have thought I had just won the lottery.... I wasn't a huge fan of the beats until I tried them on in the store.... When I heard that bass, I was hooked.... I did have to try some of the different styles to get the perfect fit.... But today I can honestly say that I have found the perfect fit..... I had a problem with my ears hurting after wearing other headphones for long periods of time.... These headphones r lightweight and very comfortable.... I had them on for three hours and didn't want to take them off.... I also took them on a test run ( ok a jog) and was amazed how well the Bluetooth worked... So finally I have my true match, great sound and great comfort.... I'm so happy that I now have a pair of wireless beats like my girl Oprah!

I've had quite a few different headphones and I have to say these are the best I've ever owned. The sound quality is amazing. The headphones themselves are light compact and very comfortable. I would suggest these headphones to anyone who cares to hear all the subtle nuances of your music.

I purchased these headphones as an upgrade to my old Rocketfish bluetooth headphones. I'm the type of person who researches things to death before buying them, especially something that costs this much money. I've read reviews about the sound being too muddy and the headband snapping without much stress, but Best Buy (in my area anyway) offers a 15 day no questions asked return, and to me the best review you can do is the one you do yourself.
About me: I consider myself somewhat of an audiophile. I listen to all types of music, mostly 90s and more than anything I listen to podcasts daily. I also ride public transportation every day to get back and forth from school.
Comfort and Construction: I took the headphones out of the nice carrying case they provide very carefully since I'd just read about a dozen reviews of people snapping them. The headband does seem very flimsy and something that wouldn't hold up well over time. I take very good care of my stuff though, so I didn't consider this a deal breaker. I wore the headphones for a solid 4 straight hours or so (the battery life is very nice). They were ok, not great at first. They fit on top of your ears, but don't create a great seal. After an hour or so, my ear started to hurt from the changing pressure (from the inconsistent seal) and they began to feel heavy. The next day I wore them on the bus and sat next to a woman with 4 screaming children, and they held up pretty well. I could tell the kids were screaming, but they were a distant noise behind my music (I guess that's the upside of the muddy sound).
Sound: I put the headphones on and synced them to my iPhone 5S with no problems and just hit shuffle. I listened to a smorgasbord of musical genres over the next few hours and noticed that the bass was exceptional. All that exceptional bass however comes at the price of clarity. Songs with even minimal bass sounded muddy or as if you were listening to them through a wall. On some songs the issue wasn't too noticeable, but on the majority of songs it was just overbearing. It was like listening to music on the ride home from a concert you'd just spent 3 hours in the front row for. I played around with the EQ settings on my phone to try and remedy the issue. I typically use the acoustic setting. I found the only way to get rid of the muddy, thick sound was to use either the treble booster or bass reducer setting. The treble booster seemed to work the best, but the sound was still not as crisp as I'd expect for a $300 pair of headphones. It also seemed to get rid of the vast majority of punch, which is what Beats are known for. I do love bass, but not at the expense of my overall listening experience.
I ended up exchanging these for a set of Bose AE2W headphones ($30 cheaper and better sound and comfort.) If I'm going to spend $300 for a pair of headphones, I'm going to need to be blown away.

First and foremost, if the $400 dollar price tag isn't a option - then the Beats Pro is the only option to go.
I just bought my Pro headphones today and absolutely love them. The sound quality is very solid and the headphones are well built and doesn't feel cheap. The bass is what really caught my attention about the Beats Pro, the bass is deep and rich and still retain a good treble and overall great listening experience.
They fit quite comfortable on my head and I can wear them for hours at a time and not feel frustrated with the bulkiness. I'm a frequent traveler and these are my daily headphones (as I own two more pair of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones too). I will strongly recommend these to a friend.
If you are a fan of music and love to travel then the Beats Pro are a great option despite its price tag.

Well lets say i was debating about getting another pair since i already have the Solos first Edition,Studios, and Tours. So i mainly bought mine cause i was tired of the wire and battery replacement of the studios. Also they dont leak like the Studios. These are about a half step down from the studios as far as Bass but not by much. But there wireless and sound amazing way better than Solos for sure and better than the Studios in my opinion. I use mine mainly in the Gym and let me tell you its amazing no more phone flying, Cable getting caught on equipment. Also i ride off road mountain bikes and not having that wire is huge no more getting caught on the handle bars. They are very comfortable and they ARE bigger than solos the earcup that is which is nice. So i would say there in the middle of the Solos and Studios in size. They are a fingerprint magnet but just wipe them off and there good to go.

I purchased these to use when lifting weights at the gym. They do an excellent job canceling noise around me. The sound quality is much better than I expected. I enjoy these do much I wear them around the house and whenever I want to list to music or anything on my phone for a period of time. The fact that they're wireless makes it even better. The sound is improved some when using the 3.5 cable included but not enough to make me want the wire. These are larger than the Solo but not quite over the ear like the Studio. I debated between these and the Studio since the price is pretty close but these win hands down to avoid the wire and the sound in these are pretty close to the Studio's and better than the Solo's.

I have debated getting these for sometime, I have been using the rocketfish bluetooth headphones for two years, I use headphones only when working out and I usually workout for 2.5 hours a day and I can go through 6 workouts at full volume without having to re-charge. Compared to the rocketfish the sound quality is amazing, what you would expect for the price. It has taken me a week or so to get used to the heavier feel and your ears get hot in them when working out but I just take them off for a second wipe away the sweat and keep going. The only thing that could make them better would be to design them a little more like the rocket fish that go behind your head so they are more user friendly during workouts but other than that I love them, They block out more noise than any other bluetooth headphones so I can stay focused and actually enjoy my music while im working out for a change. If you have the money and are looking for the best bluetooth headphones these are them right now.

Best Headphones I've owned

So I went to best buy and bought the beats mixr. Everything about those headphones were great except they are very uncomfortable. Couldn't even wear them for longer than 15 minutes without my ears killing me. Returned them for the studios in orange. Those are all around great headphones except for the sound leakage. With the volume at 60 to 70 everyone around you can hear what you are listening to crystal clear.they are noise canceling probably so you don't hear people around you complain that they can hear every lyric on the songs when standing 10 feet away from you. So I went back once more and got these. These are perfect. Paired with my itouch with ease and the sound quality is perfect. I even paired these with my Bluetooth lg Verizon FLIP phone and people could hear me just fine on the end. I am completely satisfied with the comfort sound and durability. I recommend getting the protection plan just in case. They cover these expensive headphones for two years and they break just bring it down and grab another pair. If you have your mindset on getting beats and you don't know which ones to choose, these are it. Don't think anymore just come down and cop these and you won't be disappointed I promise.

I'm so glad I decided to buy these. At first I was apprehensive after reading reviews about them breaking. However, I've had them for over a year and I haven't had any problems. The sound quality is great and best of all they are bluetooth! I love working out without having to worry about the cord getting in the way or disconnecting from my phone. I uses these everyday at work as well and I can walk pretty far without them disconnecting. They also come with an auxiliary cord in case you need to use one.

I use these on a daily basis in my house. I can listen to music from my iPhone, leave it plugged in around the middle of my house and walk around doing whatever I need to without missing a beat. The one thing I really like about these is the placement of the controls. They are intuitive and easy to locate without having to remove the headphones . I've tried many other options (I'm somewhat of a headphone junkie) and I always seem to hit the wrong button or click one too many times or not enough. With the Beats I just reach my hand up to my ear, find either the raised bump, or the big circle in the middle to pause, skip forward or back, adjust the volume or turn it off. I can listen in bed again with the phone plugged in to conserve battery and when I'm done just turn off the headphones and sleep without having to get up and go plug in the phone to charge overnight.
The only mild complaints I have with these headphones are that there is no way to adjust how tight they fit on your head and my ears do get a little sore. The big comfy ear pieces do mitigate that somewhat There is a length adjustment. They are so much of a fingerprint magnet that a cleaning cloth is included in the box. I'm not sure if it's a phone issue or a Beats issue, but if I'm listening to music with bluetooth and I get a phone call the sound just stops. The song keeps playing but no sound comes through. I end up having to reset the bluetooth connection and then it works fine. When I've used the cord with the mic for phone calls everything works perfectly and I get no complaints about sound on the other end. I've used these every day for a couple of months now and overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase. I do think they are overpriced, but most brand names are.

I purchased these headphones b/c I wanted a really nice paid of Bluetooth Headphones to use with my Ipod Touch and Samsung Galaxy Player. On my Samsung Galaxy Player I purchased a Music app called PowerAmp that you can actually change the equalizer and bass and treble and these headphones sound Unbelieveable with it. The stock player was good but there was so much room for improvement. These are really easy to use and connect fast once you have it paired for the first time. You can walk quite a ways away from the player and still keep a good quality signal also. I highly recommend these for anyone wanted to really listen to music. Before these i had a cheap pair of headphones and now I'll never ever go back. Noise cancellinging is also a plus.

Sound quality ROCKS especially if you like BASS, battery life is good and the comfort is top notch. Build quality could be a little better for the price but they are sturdy enough for me. An included wall charger would have been nice.
