I’ve had both styles of AirPods and personally I think these are better

Good Sporty Ear Buds

These will get you through a day of casual listening or your gym routine no problem. The quality of sound is ok, you may find yourself tinkering more with your phones music/sound settings to get the sound you want. Speaking of train ride, maybe it’s a coincidence but I notice they sometimes disconnect momentarily and reconnect as a train arrives underground in NYC… just a strange phenomenon that happens every once in a while. Battery life could of course be better, still not there yet to replace a headset at work if that’s what you were hoping for (I partially was).

Most underrated buds on the market IMHO

They sound a lot better than the AirPod Pros, and quite frankly, most of my other ear buds (Sony Link Buds, Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro (and Live), Pixel Buds, etc.).
