Use the larger inserts and they will sound better

When I first put these on straight out of the box the sound quality seemed extremely cheap (like $5 headphone quality - super flat). I was about to pack them back in the box to return but then decided to try out with the highest size insert and bump up the volume a bit. This made a massive difference and now these actually sound like decent quality headphones. They most likely aren't going to compete with Bose Soundsport (my previous pair) in terms of quality and longevity but are definitely worth the $50 price tag.
