Ended up having to go the Apple store for replacements. Second pair worked ok, unfortunately the Beats app doesn't play well with Android and if these go out I will likely not get these again.

The earbuds themselves are great but have fun trying to find a way to plug them in if you do not buy the additional plug. It does not use the apple cord anymore.
