i'm an avid music listener with tastes in nearly every genre from Kendrick Lamar to Pink Floyd, so quality is a MUST. These headphones meet that quality need for me very easily, if you pirate your music, you'll be able to hear the stressed sound quality. Also, these are very tight fitting around the temple areas of your head, which may or may not affect you, but for me it gets pretty annoying at times.

I love my beats. Great for trips in the car. I use mine all the time from yardwork, working out, & cleaing house. The music quailty is so much better than any apple headphones. It takes music to a whole new level.

I Finally found them! at the best buy at Tempe Market Place for 250 and 40 for insurance ! $313.00 something after tax I Love the sound The Highs and Lows I'm in love aha I'm just happy they actually cover my ears not like the beats by dre solos and they have control talk perfect for my iPhone they hurt a lil after having them on for a long time but other than that i love them I THINK THEY ARE WORTH IT !!

I Looked at the construction of the solo and these seem to be better made. In fact I bought a solo pair for my daughter and within a week stopped working. The mixer is a great set of headphones

I love ulta crisp sound. They are amzing they are comfrortale and the earcups are amazing feal like dr.dre pros but in a smaller version.

I love my Beats by Dre Mix-R headphones. They look super cool and sound awesome. I only wish they weren't so expensive.

I got the white solo hds last yr. which have great bass but a little muddy on the mid and highs so i got the mixrs (revised without monster) and these are a awesome upgrade to the solo hds. They have great highs and mid and just enough bass but not overpowering and a nice cable and headphone matte - gloss color scheme.

The Beats by Dre Mixr is the best sounding headphone in the Beats line-up. These headphones have a balanced sound that could easily be listened to for hours, BUT, you can't, because they are excruciatingly painful. These headphones are not a feasible option for the average listener, because they squeeze your ears so hard that you may develop a headache within twenty minutes of listening. It is extremely hard to enjoy your music when you are getting clamped by your headphones. The Beats by Dre Mixr feel very durable and offer the same excellent packaging that any Beats product would offer. I cannot recommend these headphones solely due to the comfort issue.

I am really impressed with the look and feel of these headphones. They look really great and the sound quality is better than any other headphones I've had. Such a big step up from the solo hds and very noticeable improvement. The only downside is that the ear cups on these are not as comfortable as the solo hds, but the music sound quality is very very good.

I love my mixrs love the quality, sound is amazing, they look bad***. I only give four stars, what stops it from getting five is the Comfort they hurt your ears. But I'm giving it time to break them in hopefully they loosen up a bit. Overall, amazing!

These headphones just came out a my best buy and i got them. They are great headphones and the music is perfect. One thing that is bad about them is that the are a bit tight if you are a person who wheres glasses.

If you've read my other reviews on different ear buds such as ibeats, tours, souls, you know I check out a lot of different headphones and earbuds. I just exchanged my solo hd's for a pair of mixr headphones in traditional black. Let me start by saying build quality is outstanding. They feel much stronger than the solo hd. This means they also sit a little tighter on your head **this model sits on ear**, which can get slightly uncomfortable after several hours of listening. I am still breaking the headphones in **50 hours of continuous play**. I use an inline amp **#FIIO 6** and let me tell you these headphones sound amazing. They do not clip at higher volume levels like the solo hd. The bass is much cleaner **but still deep**. Mids and Highs are powerful and will please most Non-Audiophiles out there. The included accessories include 2 different cables, the stylish box, and the headphones have 2 input jacks **1 in each can** to allow greater flexibility or run them in series with other headphones if needed. Verdict, cleaner sound than Solo HD and Beats Pro. If you are using earbuds and thinking of switching, these give a much more full sound. Thanks for reading! It's the best of the Pro's & Studio's. The Pro's are clunky, heavy, bulky, but they sound great. The Studio's sound awesome, but leak too much & they are plastic. But these are perfect. They do not leak and they are better constructed than the Studio's. I love the red. These are nice.

I upgraded from beats By Dre Studios & SOL republic Master Tracks headphones. Both had their issues. Beats by Dre Mixr's are better than both in my opinion. Just got them yesterday in exchange for SOL Republic. The only downside to the Mixr's is that your ears start to hurt after a short while but the quality is no comparison with Beats By Dre Studios.
